Thank you, and I'm glad you enjoyed it. If it hasn't been mentioned already (my memory fails me at times), then it will be addressed in the future and the question of longevity will be answered. There is a lot more for you to learn.

Thanks, Danilo, I'm glad you enjoyed it. You are versed on a lot of ancient mythologies, and over the course of this story you will hear about this one from a couple of different viewpoints. However, be warned that I do take some liberalities with the skinwalker mythology because there isn't a lot written about it, so I tried to fill in some of the gaps and expand on it. I hope you find it interesting.

Living by myself, I get to enjoy a great deal of quietude, so much in fact that sometimes I turn on the TV while I'm writing just so I don't feel so alone. I don't really pay attention to it, but it makes me feel that there are others aroud.

Thank you, Raven. I know that many people were expecting Devin to be a werebear, and possibly his family were were-creatures as well, but I wanted to do something different. I may also very from Hillerman's description of skinwalkers, and there will be many other times when I add even more information about how they may different from what you may have heard or read about from other sources. I hope it doesn't disappoint.

Reading stories on GA is innocuous. No animals were harm in their making and only homophobes were harmed. -
Who is saying that what they encounter when they put their spoons in the lava cake is bad and they need a refund? It maybe be something good, such as someone lost their diamond engagement ring in it while making the lava cake.

Hmmm, I can think of an electrical socket and a wrench and socket set, but it has nothing to do with the late 60s and early 70s expression 'sock it it to me'. Then again, maybe it does, since the phrase had a sexual connotation as well (a hollow part into which something fits). 😈
