  1. Beraut was nearly exhausted from his last effort, but he was still coherent enough to realize that he had to hurry if he was going to be ready for the next gathering. There were only a couple of hours left before this all-important session was set to begin, yet he still had to work on his summaries and organize his thoughts for this presentation. Besides that, he also need to bathe and change for the evening’s activities, but he knew if he hurried he might still have time to arrange the hall a
  2. Oh, what a tragic and touching episode! How many more will we lose?
  3. They're obviously not in Kansas.
  4. Garreth, Romaric and Kieren remained sprawled out along the bank of the pool they had just crawled out of. Their bodies were still dripping from the water that had accumulated on them during their recent swim in the pool’s inviting embrace. They also weren't ready to get dressed just yet. They were attempting to allow the water time to roll off their skin or evaporate naturally in the fading sunlight, because they were just too weary to dry themselves. They were not only exhausted from their
  5. As a parent, I would guess their mother truly enjoyed their effort, especially the extreme detail to which they went, as they recreated many wonderful memories from their childhood. It seems obvious this is a very close knit family, since dad and grandma also participated, and I'm sure they each enjoy the effort they put into this project.
  6. Retain and hold fast to the good memories and allow time to erase the bad. It's never easy to deal with the loss of a loved one, but may you find peace and solace whenever you remember the wonderful moments you shared with each other.
  7. James, I'm not sure your southern neighbors would see the rainbow colored Stars and Bars as being fabulous, but personally I find it quite attractive.
  8. Yeah, Sunday Feb. 8th my withdrawal ends. It will be following by "Better Call Saul," which is a takeoff on the sleezy lawyer from "Breaking Bad." I can't wait.
  9. Like a bolt from heaven, a bright blue beam leapt from the face of the lavaliere Kieren was holding and radiated toward the rear of the cave. Thinking he had heard Kieren say something, Romaric turned around and looked in his friend’s direction, in order to see if Kieren was speaking to him. The elf was shocked to find Kieren standing motionless with the thin, sapphire ray projecting from the medallion he held between his palms. “Look at Kieren,” Romaric blurted out, in a voice just sligh
  10. Happy Birthday, Sacred!
  11. Beraut sat silently in his room, while diligently going over his journal in preparation for the Second Council of War. He had been carefully recording his notes about the lesser meetings he'd been holding with the various factions and races living within Tarolia. He did this so he would not forget any of the contributions they were offering to make. Now, he was mentally preparing himself for the all-important gathering that would be held later that evening by going over these written reminder
  12. Jack, thank you very much for your feedback and I'm so glad you are enjoying this series. Book 6 was indeed a very sad story at points, especially the ending, so I apologize for the amount of tissues it caused you to go through. This story was first posted when I had my own site that was connected to GA and this type of feedback system was not part of that site. That's why you find a lack of comments, many of which I received as PMs or emails at the time. I hope you find the remaining books just as interesting.
  13. Happy Birthday, Bleu!
  14. Happy Birthday, Ricky!
  15. Back in the enemy encampment, the sound made by the rocks cascading down the hillside was first discerned by one of the Merropites. Recognizing the implications such a disturbance could portend, he immediately asked one of the Gnomes to go with him to investigate. Cautiously, the two troopers slipped away from their campsite and crept down the path toward the source of the noise. As they rounded a bend in the trail, they spotted the spread-eagled, motionless body of Quintain lying before
  16. Rick looks like Grizzly Adams and Daryl was using a shotgun instead of the cross bow? What is this season coming to? lol
  17. KC, you've got the DC part covered and I'm down in GA so no wonder we're both fans. I haven't read the comics, but I'm a super big fan of the show. I'd heard rumors about this before, but it's the first time I'd seen they'd cast the role, making it more likely to be true.
  18. It appears a gay character is coming to 'Walking Dead.' Here is the link for more information: http://tvline.com/2015/01/14/the-walking-dead-ross-marquand-cast-aaron-gay-season-5/

  20. Happy Birthday, Cassie! I hope it's a great one!
  21. You can see how the oil giants have conditioned us when we get excited and happy when the price dips below $3.00 a gallon.
  22. The Serpent Colossus fell away from Turquinine and lay sprawled across the path, its body still twitching with muscular spasms. Kieren, Garreth and Romaric, having observed the entire engagement from a safe distance, were still shaken by the events they had just witnessed. They remained frozen in place, realizing there was still a chance the leviathan might not actually be dead. Since they could see the serpent’s twitching form, doubts about its demise lingered in the back of their minds
  23. Happy Birthday, Krista!
  24. Happy Birthday, dughlas!
  25. Happy 21st Birthday, Kyle!
