    Didn't this guy understand how service men like to drink? Had he never been in the service himself? If he'd ever spent a night or two in an NCO or officers' club then he could have concluded how such an offer would go. I'm surprised the terrorists didn't take advantage of the offer too, while the troops were getting drunk they could have benefitted from their lack of vigilence.

    Let me put my response this way. You'll only get this chance once. If you don't act upon it, you may regret that fact later. However, if you do act, you may face rejection of one sort or another. Either way, it's a tough call, so you have to think this out and decide if you like him enough to take this chance. I think you said he's in the closet too, so I doubt he would out you, because you could do the same thing in return, but since he has a bf, your romantic interests may not stand much of a chance. That boils down to whether your friendship with him might be placed in jeopardy if you open up to him. Just some things to consider as you ponder this dliemma, but good luck and I hope it works out for you. .

    Auburn is leading a charmed life. The week after being the beneficiaries of that lucky recption and touchdown that beat my Dawgs of UGA, they manage to return a field goal attempt for a TD. Someone sure is looking out for them. hehehe

    It is a tragic loss, but maybe the Fast and Furious went to his head. Had flashbacks of what happened to James Dean.

    After seeing the dancing I quit video, I thought back to some of the jobs and bosses I left behind. I wish I'd have been as creative and able to shine a spotlight on those situations, so it would have helped those I left behind.

    I wonder if there would have been as large an uproar if this was done by women in their undergarments instead? Is this just a homophobic response to men gyrating their goodies or what?

    Actually, that's how Leonardo made a lot of his income, improving the weapons of war for his patrons. However, the more I see of his inventions the more astounded I am of his incredible genius. It isn't just that he was an incredible artist, but he was a visionary who came up with inventions far before their time. The piano was interesting as well, since I'd never heard he had musical genius as well, but it was almost like having your own private concert from a string quartet.

    Yes, hh, that would be the one. I first came across it in college, at the same time the original Star Trek series was airing, and it definitely made me stop and wonder.

    Somehow I think there was more coming into play than the basic criteria. Could it be a reward for the significance the new Freedom Tower represents or in the magical 1776 foot height? I think Chicagoans are asking that question very often.

    Yes, there is a wide range of gay men out there, but I also think this makes another point. If we want society, in general, to be more accepting of gays, maybe we first need to be more accepting of each other. Yes, there are people who may rub us the wrong way or are not someone we would want to hang around with, but to be intolerant of them is making you no better than the Westboro crazies.

    You're right. A-Rod never lived up to the hype. The one World Series they Yankees won with him in the lineup probably would have still been won without him. He wasn't Mr. October, like Reggie Jackson, and he wasn't as consistent as Jeter. I think the Yankees wasted a lot of money by securing him and got a black eye in the process.
