  1. Darn, should I even contribute to celebrating post whorism? And one of the goat's most dedicated fanboy? Well, Sasha, may the Herd be with you nevertheless...
  2. Also called Beelzebub, Baal Moloch, Mephistopheles...
  3. Hey, this is cheating! Straight people have got to be lucky to get a male heir the first time around...
  4. Quite funny. I found the Matt Damon video that made it clearer what this one was about. I couldn't watch any of these to the end because of the ludicrous and annoying beeping sound, though. So if anyone has got the uncensored version somewhere, I'm game.
  5. In this new chapter, the author once again plays with the reader's nerves. The opening scene brings us back to the worst tear-jerking scenes of Time in a Bottle, with a funeral scene. He manages these all too well, and so we're grabbed into the action. NJ being prone to using the ellipsis, I jumped to the conclusion that indeed a death had occurred. I was grateful that it took only four paragraphs to realize that no such event had taken place. Then the next section brings us no definitive answer to the question that we've all asked ourselves: what did Peter tell Gerald in his letter? Dennis is none the better as we are, since Dennis makes "a point of not bringing the letter up at all." Thanks a lot, Dennis, now we just have to wonder. Then I had to google "HOV system" to understand what was going on in the next section. "Homosexuals On Vacation" didn't quite fit the automotive context, so I searched it, only to understand a little bit more about the impending disaster the author implies, with Gerald being prone to careless driving. In a fictional world in which death hovers high above the poor characters, you've got to admit it's a bit distressing. I remembered Shadowgod's numerous hints at a motorcycle in LiS, which culminated in the infamous chapter 26 (which some have abusively deemed "the mother of all CHs"). Then a possible food poisoning is evoked. Either it shows Dennis is a maniac, or someone is going to suffer from germs left on the food by a careless writer, who won't take all the necessary measures to prevent him from eating tainted food. I should let you all know that I'm in touch with my lawyer, in case this fictional work turns out ugly; I want fictional characters to be safe from the whims of a capricious author who could get them into some hazard. Join the fight, and protect fictional characters from the harm that can be bestowed upon them by these ean authors willing to put them through distress just to keep us on the edge of our seats! Join now (PM me, I'll give you the account of the number of our account in the Cayman Islands...)
  6. What really matters is what name you chose for him deep down in the secret of your heart.
  7. A serial without a cliffhanger would be like cereals without milk: not complete. Actually, Cornelius James not being in denial would be incomplete too.
  8. I can't imagine that CJ would make Vladimir such a likable character just to kill him eventually. That would be supreme cruelty towards the reader, which he's not prone to display.
  9. He's worthy enough not to rejoice in being a post whore. That's an achievement. Do no yield to these uncanny tendencies, Tiger...
  10. Indeed. Could we expect any less from the (officially, democratically elected) King? (Bring it on, Sacha! )
  11. Happy Birthday!
  12. There was a clear and open discussion. No 'behind the scenes' plots. And you're right, it's time to move on and speculate about the next chapter.
  13. Sacha, have a closer look at the last three chapters. You'll find hints of the build ups to cliffhangers.
  14. I think that a true CJ fan should feel tremendous joy at him getting this wonderful award.
  15. Happy Birthday! Let the year ahead be full of fun stuff, and of important serious stuff too.
  16. What gift does Coco3 get? To spend a day with the admin of his choice?
  17. I'm not surprised. Congratulations to you.
  18. The Queen id dead! All Hail the King! Congrats for your wins.
  19. Who posted in: Proof that Shadowgod is the King of Cliffhangers! Poster / Posts TL The Writing Tiger 26 C James 20 BeaStKid 16 Benji 15 shadowgod 13 Graeme 10 wildone 9 TalonRider 3 Bondwriter 3 FrenchCanadian 2 L0st Cause 1 Jack Frost 1 Way enough evidence there that Shadowgod is a mere contender to the title. The yearly vote will settle the matter once and for all (as if Google had not managed to do that yet...)
  20. You, mean CJ would physically threaten to stampede anyone not giving him his rightful royal title? (Since he might be able to check votes, or at least bribe Joe into giving him the names...)
  21. This is a good point. It would almost make me feel regret to have sent you threatening emails.
  22. An evil goat, aka spawn of the devil, might be immortal for all we know. So, with committed harassment from the fan base, his admitting defeat could occur around 2084 at the earliest. I'm not willing to wait this long. I'd suggest the poll be closed, before the results of the vote for the yearly awards (which I'm quite confident will confirm this one.)
  23. Yeah, I couldn't find any clever stuff to comment. Which is indeed a shame since Corvus provided my haughty self with tons of smart and insightful comments. This is good poetry, and his other poems in eFiction are worth a read. Just skip the end notes that give away his craft, like a magician revealing how he gets the bunny to come out from the hat.
  24. So you just need to swap "yes" with "no", and all of a sudden CJ is no longer Queen of Evilest cliffhangers? Despite what all major search engines say? That would be weird.
  25. Though I haven't tried yet, I'd say it's more difficult to off 5 to 25 people with a knife than with a gun. Too lazy to quote Graeme underneath, I'll say that I went hunting with my relatives as a kid, and that my dad had showed me how to use a gun by the age of 15, which I think was illegal, but I didn't develop any homicidal tendencies thereafter. So there must be some cultural issue at stake, in having guns available from a very young age, but there must be yet other personal problems triggering the shooting spree. (Sorry for posting such pointless contribution, but, well...)
