Your a genius @Mark Arbour. Thanks for the exciting adventure 😀 (seems insufficient to just say thank you), but you surely must know that we readers love you and your devious mind. Lovely 😍 👌 👍 🥰
Reading the comments makes me feel like I am part of the best book club ever. ( bigger word counts in the chapters wouldn't go astray....just putting it out there as the greedy bastard that I am)
Wonderful question @lilansui, I had 8 siblings but I only have 2 sisters and a brother. The others are toxic and money is all they want. Only this year with the death of a sister with Alcoholic Dementia did we discover a changed will, double crossing over property sale (trust deed changed) , and refusal to honour debts. With both parents dead, the ties have weakened to thin strands of cotton...
You know, now that it appears that Jake is the father of Travis, Curtis is going to see a conspiracy that it was all planned to ruin him ... hopefully almost everyone gets to Travis family dinner including Jake and Brad...cue lightening and thunderstorm!!!
We are so use to a convoluted story line that our esteemed author throws down a "slow ball" (a Cricket term) and we all fell for it. Tension ebbs away, but still want to know about the Buck family dinner!
I'm with you @spyke, I think they are either uncle and nephew or half brothers, but NOT father and son based upon Jakes own words. (Very bad Sharon!, Haha 😄)
Me thinks whomever poisoned Calab might still be in the pack, cant recall any mention of eating special meals... and uf was done on pack lands, how many involved 😳
I am curious if Asa was to touch heads with Silas and Rosalie, would he be able to assist with their longevity as in repair weakened bones and eyesight...? Would be nice gift to them and the pack.
What an unexpected find! At the moment the world is holding its breath while we wait for Israel response to the terrorism of Hamas. This is such a beautiful love story that allowed a non Jew insight into a religious way of life without being to in-depth or preachy. This needs a wider audience and I was very glad to be introduced to this author.
I'm with you @Canuk, a sad day here regarding the Constitutional referendum. But our beloved author @Mark Arbour has provided us all a welcome respite!
OMG, I fully agree, but the reality is 12,500 words is the same as perhaps 10 chapters from other writers. This is such a full rich and exciting novel to read. Each chapter not only moves the story along but throws more questions into the mix. With the monthly upload I always refresh by rereading the previous chapter. Most excellent @The Writer X. Thank you 😊 💓
Ah, yes I see. Wealth in the USA is definitely not the same as in India or elsewhere. $152k here is an average income. My point was more about sharing the wealth rather than hoarding it, and it also doesn't preclude the person from heartbreak or emotional pain. My prior comment was meant to be a playful dig about intensity of commentary
