...............Well said W.O. Benning! So we know now what I suspected either Dave mistook his actions 5 years ago, or Benning is bi-sexual or gay, or Dave was flat out lying. The problem is that his family sent him away immediately, so guilty as charged would seem to be the case. (He cannot come clean if he wants to stay in the Army) But the real problem for the town is if they don't listen to W.O. Benning, as foretasted by the Shire President the town can burn to the ground and if Benning saves the town he is a hero, and his sexual orientation is a mute point. His having a family will weigh heavily in his favor,. Yet even with that 'escape' route, he will have to face the truth as it will eventually catch up to him. (I ought to know). Great revealing chapter!

............ Could Mitch be projecting his own fears upon young Tom? Still the reason Mitch had to leave his hometown was never addressed.

..............Aha, well planned escape route, but was the intrigue really necessary? Or didn't they trust themselves not to be talked out of it? Anyway a great chapter with all those Aussies back home to start anew.

................I guess nobody saw this coming, even I didn't consider the ominous phone calls as being nothing more than an annoyance. I don't understand people like Ian's family, was it not enough for them to reject him and throw him out of his home? But his father had to stalk and attempt to kill his own son, for what? Family honor? Sounds like some nut filled radical religious cult mindedness to me. Hope Ian can fully recover, I hope his fathers seat belt gets stuck and he slowly drowns. Otherwise, nice tense chapter!!

...............Seems an political impasse occurred within the diplomatic corridors, this is going to look badly on the Canadian PM's office when this news breaks of the Aussie family's leaving in mass. I can see the headlines now, (I wonder if HRM might chime in on this cat fight wasn't Benning recognized by the crown during the fire rescue?) the Canadian Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs to explain why he decided not interfere with the Austrailian's complaints as they board planes leaving the country. Nice career move! Great chapter!

.............Well this was an interesting chapter, we learned a little bit more about Matthew and his life and it would seem he is longing to find different living arrangements (hint). I'm glad the sensation caused by the youtube clip was resolved rather quickly, however I'm sure some one is going to offer Anton money to write a story about it (and if anything Anton has shown to be able to do it is to collect and spend money). Good now that Gramps got a transplant maybe he won't be dying in every other chapter (hehe). Finally it looks like Anton is not just buying a science lab for sea, but is looking into eventually setting up a graduate school in marine biology complete with labs, room and board and maybe a professor if needed. Great chapter!

.................And so JAM has new grandparents, Drew is his father and Mr. C finally realized what an idiot he was being. ( I remember the old Dr. Who, but that was stuff was as old as 'Dark Shadows'. Star Wars was more recent to me.

.............. Oh boy, the first chapter so different basically an emotionless family save the brothers, while the 2nd chapter introduces some real characters, that Nan is something else. It is probably good that Blu is so used to her that nothing seems to faze him. Still he probably should have checked his voice before meeting his new room mate, novel way of an introduction though.

............Incestuous? Not at all, what I deemed could be puppy love, but nothing that could be construed as romantic nor of it being returned by Drew to Jam. Drew sounds like he is Jam's father "It was nice getting to know about Drew. I just felt comfortable around him like I’ve known him my whole life."

............Oy Vey! "Luke, I am your father...errr I mean Jam". Well at least with the truth out, the arguments will cease and we can go back and revive all the old star war cliches we want!!

.................. Poor Drew, is he missing the obvious signs of a puppy love? Does that mean Gary might also be gay? Or is Mr. C just getting jealous of the attention Gary is giving Drew? I'm sure the argument is about Gary's presence in a way, and Mr. C wants to get to the bottom of it if Drew is unaware of what he perceives of Gary's actions.

.............That was truly great way he came out, I love that subtle but clear way he worded it. Great chapter, the awkwardness disappeared early into the date and was relaxed at the end. However did Jake make it through all day Saturday though?

....... Yeah I thought that too business just got a big boost. And Matthew? I think we are going to see more of him, and maybe the Simon and Anton just didn't work out long ago.

................ Extreme changes, I see Anton is trying to put distance between himself and family in case he is still being a target by the cartel, hopefully getting lost in college will help. He is still pursuing his educational dream maybe more expediently now then before this catalyst of danger appeared. Anton maybe a minor, but his financial status quo is like 'money talks, bullshit walks. I don't see any problems with Anton buying high price items. Great chapter!

................ Ending a chapter with 'Breaking News' qualifies as an official cliff-hanger. I'm hoping that someone is talking the cops and arrests have been made in his case in the breaking news. Great chapter!

............ That was a tough chapter to read, must have been harder to write. Josh is right about Devon needing some therapy. But his mother is rather dismissive saying 'if he could survive 10 years of beatings.........!' WTF! Yeah, he did. but he also had been isolated from everyone including his mother and twin brother (who both seem to be living the high life). Damn what teen hasn't gone to the mall, his brother is catching on but his mother seems ignorant. Then there is leaving the BF and his BFGF, so I guess he has a right to be a bit angry and sad. Great chapter

...................Hope Gramps' is okay, his body can't take much more these 'attacks' he has been getting lately. The arrests are nice, but kinda small potatoes waiting for bigger fish to fry. Nice chapter!

............. Disturbing, but there is a mole close to the investigation leaking information to the press. Possibly a bad cop, more likely someone a little higher up in the ranks. Great chapter.

..........Well, the cartel doesn't mess around, after so many failed attempts they get ugly and rather stupidly show up at customs to try to get at Anton. I suppose some high ups in the government will be indicted soon as revelations spill out on the cartels business dealings with them. Great chapter!
