  1. Libby you are full of excellent advice :3 I'm always having an ongoing debate on what is too much and what is too less detail. These are great tips. @Andy I know what you mean, I actually have a lot of trouble reading fanfiction for the same reason.
  2. For me, my attraction to girls and boys has always been very confusing. I could never conclude which sex I ultimately like better, or if I would ever be satisfied with one gender over the other. In addition, it has actually hindered coming out to my parents more so than if I were 100% gay, as well as certain friendships with people who don't even believe that bisexuality exists. It also stands in the way when I'm trying to date girls in a society where any sort of homosexuality is still frowned upon. I've grown rather sick of trying to hide and justify myself to people who judge me for what they don't know. Given the choice of a pill to change my sexuality, I would not take it because what I went through has made me tougher, wiser, and the more open minded person I am today, but I do not think being bisexual is very "fun." >: D
  3. This was a very good story, unpredictable and crazy, but I enjoyed the vividness of the characters. It almost felt like Tyler's insanity was contagious -- Travis started to make some very bad decisions shortly after meeting him. Keep it up!
  4. So I've calmed down now. This story went in an entirely unexpected direction but I already had a few hints that Tyler was a little bit crazy. Good work!

    Chapter 6: Bacon

OH MY GOD WHAT THE FUCK okay I need to finish reading the chapter

    Chapter 5: Stars

omg LOL. That was a great chapter. You have like a million different words for "dick" hahahaha I like both Travis and Tyler a lot. They both exhibit their own sense of vulnerabilities, insecurities, and desires to feel in control.
  8. Omg poor Travis :< I love how much detail you go into describing everything, it really propels me into their world.

    Chapter 2: Jesus

Normally I skip right over sex scenes in stories, but the way you write makes it seem anything but gratuitous. I'm very intrigued to see how Tyler's character unfolds. There were a few spelling/stylistic issues that would normally send me off to read something else but this story is just so excellent that I just don't care!
  10. Scary thing was the meteor was pretty small by the time it hit earth :S
  11. Does anyone know if there were any associated casualties, or just injuries? As for skyscrapers being meteor proof, I don't think so. A descending meteor is pretty much akin to a descending bomb. Here is a pretty good view of it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=QIMKQihoYRI
  12. No I can't say I've ever been on a burning cruise ship... but that sounds awful lol.
  13. I actually find the biggest stimulant for me to get out of writer's block is knowing that I have a mountain of work to do :0
  14. Fuck I've been doing it wrong all my life. Time to genre switch and change my antagonist into an angsty female who attacks through only means of rumours.
  15. I remember seeing this story around but never considered to read it. Andy's review of it definitely piqued my interest.
  16. I will be buying a huge dozen of roses for........................... ................................ my mom. #ForeverAlone
  17. I know the feel, sometimes you have ideas bouncing in your head but when you sit down for some reason they either don't come out, or you just can't write. For me, I've always done several things to try to get me into a mood where ideas can solidify: i) Take a long bath/shower (always works for me) ii) Take your smart phone or notepad and go out for a walk, or just do anything but stare at your computer screen, and go fantasize about your story. iii) Screw up your sleeping schedule big time by sleeping really, really, reallyyyy late (I mean like 3, 4, 5, 6am). iv) Take drugs. (no I'm just kidding) Anyways these things work for me, so I'm not sure if they will for you. Good luck!

    Weekly Wrap Up!

I had no idea about your health status until now, but I am super happy to hear the great news! Keep going man
  19. HELLLLL YEAHHH. I'm a big fan of DS but they've definitely changed directions since 1, although the first one I played was 2. The scare factor definitely wears off especially if you're a veteran, and I'm imagining it would be the same for DS3, as they're turning it into more of a "marine has lots of guns and shoots zombies" kinda game. Nonetheless, I'm definitely looking to play it with a friend. I still remember when I first started playing I would......... not play for long periods of time because I wussed out so often haha Also, good article wrathofmagneto! : D

    Chapter 1

I quite like Luka's character, this is intriguing! I did notice several typos so I would suggest additional revision before posting, but I think it's a good chapter. Also, I'd consider revising your synopsis as well -- a more descriptive summary will attract more readers. Anyways, I am looking forward to the next installment
  21. Time to get reading :3!
  22. That is amazing to hear actually, makes me a little bit wistful! I live in a very multicultural city in canada with a fair sized gay community but I would say it's definitely not HBT-equal yet (laws are equal, prejudices still exist in the mind). Are the taxes high in Sweden? I'm assuming all the governmental progressions need funding
  23. Oh really? I have always heard otherwise, and I always thought that their education system was ranked amongst the highest in the world. Shows that an insider's perspective often varies from/is more accurate than an outsider's. Would you say that Sweden is far ahead of its times (say in comparison to the US) in terms of its LGBT equality? And LOL. Actually, my friend did a lot of research on polyamorous relationships and said that the ones present in developed countries are actually stable and excellent relationships, but that's a story for another day.
  24. I don't know much about Sweden but from the little that I have heard, is that you guys have a very progressive and successful medical/educational/governmental system. I know Sweden is one of the few countries in the world that has legalized euthanasia. It's nice to hear that they're taking also taking measures to ensure equality towards the LGBT community too! Also I agree, the song rocks
  25. Electronic Dance Music has been really huge these years (much to my happiness, and many other people's headaches hehe), and one of the new artists that has risen to fame is Avicii. I came across this video awhile ago and thought it was very surprising as I have never seen sex reassignment surgery/transgender related topics presented as the primary subject and in such a blatant manner in such a mainstream video. In my opinion, I think Avicii is doing a great thing for the LGBT community, especially transgendered individuals, by giving them more exposure. What do you guys think of this? Do you think the matter was presented in a good way or was it still very stereotyped?
