Mickey's family got to observe Drew's caring nature for Mickey first-hand from what was most likely an under-cooked egg on his pizza.. Drew had fed many egg and bagel sandwiches to Mickey during his previous care of him,to know. Daisy also showed her concern for Mickey, and that she she was also a very important part of this warm family environment. 🙂 Hopefully Mickey will recover soon.

Wow! Wonderful chapter filled with awe of the burial chamber's secrets, and a reward to fuel more explorations by this newly united band of four men. I am looking forward to the epilogue of this well told and exciting adventure. The mystery of the possible return of "the lady in black" shall linger for now.

It was a quick visit to the cabin but an important one to have a private time to themselves. An emotional and physical release that was much needed.

In North East Ohio 50 miles south of Cleveland we have been lucky and had a dusting of snowfall. 50 miles to the North East of us, they have had over 5 feet plus of snow over the past few days with more expected the next few days. Roofs are caving in, trees are coming down from the weight of the snowfall and roads have been closed very often lately. Lake Erie has been at record temps, and until it freezes over this is expected to continue.

No genie in a bottle but they do have glowing protection rings and I think they also brought their 'gods gifted" relics/artifacts with them. A supernatural solution is also very likely, because I believe we have been in that realm for a while now. If there is an Amex card or similar version for this time period: I am quite sure Reggie has one.

I was somewhat disappointed to miss the rest of Casey's visit. Drew is now at a place where he feels the most comfortable at, and I hope he can follow his doctor's excellent advise about the stress and pressure he has put on himself for Mickey and his family. It appears that he is trying to follow this advice in the best way he knows how and wants. They needed this private time together,and I hope it helps them to move forward from here.

Wow. An accidental gunshot may have turned into a temporary victory for the good guys. This may turn into a very long night of surprises. The lady in black's plan has suffered a loss in this initial battle, but I think she will return at some point. There is still so much yet to be revealed. Great chapter! I was on the edge of my seat, for this one.

A worrisome start to this chapter where we, and Mickey and Casey learn more about their relationship with Drew,and develop a bond of their own. Still worries remain about Drew's condition and he needs to see a doctor soon. Drew continued to worry if Mickey and Casey were OK? An insightful chapter.

Hopefully the three decoys were professionals and had planned and prepared for conflict. Reggie has painted a very bright future for them after their mission is completed. Let us hope they can complete this mission intact. Happy that Kareem has expressed his full support for the trio, and his desire to stand with them now and beyond. They still have unknown dangers to face ahead, and a smooth path to the completion of this mission is not what I expect. That leaves me to wonder, just what could the possible rewards of a successful mission be? 🤔

Intense chapter with the couple having conversations about the past, present and possible futures. A revealing discussion at recycle bins about Drew leads to another serious and emotional talk between them. Casey's arrival is a major show of well needed support for both Drew and Mickey. The sudden chapter close leaves us all in a bit of shock and worry. Drew appears to be very fragile at this moment, as his previous world is shattering to pieces around him.

It appears Horus holds Reggie in high regards, claiming he helps to balance the power in this quest by "ensuring that order prevails over chaos." That sounds like a difficult task, from what we have seen so far. But he did also mention that Seth has lost his balls. These Egyptian gods sure seem to play quite rough! 🤔 I would be very careful on this mission.

Sorry, but I am not eligible for your brownie points. I enjoyed this tale before and was delighted to read it again here on GA! If I remember correctly, it was posted late because of some mix-up? I enjoyed the story so much that I contacted the owner and explained why the story deserved to be included in a special group of stories on the site. He responded within hours and totally agreed and had made the needed change. Yes, I enjoyed this story so much that I made an extra effort in hopes of it getting the exposure it deserves. Happy to revisit the planet Denny's and this fun holiday tale again! 🦃🦃🦃🦃 A happy and safe holiday wish to all!

Chapter opens 9/11/2001 in a fog of survival of the disaster, a mere 1400 words later, our favorite couple are in 2006, both partners in thriving successful business's, thinking: Yep, time can quickly pass in good times and bad times here in @chris191070's creative stories. Why does that always seem to work out so well? Short but concise chapters are one of the trademarks of his prolific writings. Well done.

My guess is not very long. We are just getting a good idea of some of the forces at play here now, and I have a feeling that much more is in store for us. Kareem remains a bit of a mystery to us still. but I'm bracing myself for many "unusual" surprises that will surely come as we proceed ahead. 😎 It is best to protect your eyes against this strong desert sun.

You got yourself out of trouble from your readers, with this chapter. Michael, Doug, Marty and the rest of the country and world are left to deal with the terrible scope of this tragedy! I have no idea how you intend to move this story forward from here, but I am sure you have things planned out. Right?

What a well written intense chapter, that revealed hidden facts and released pent up emotions. The physical conflict with Dave and Drew, and then again with Mickey, will surely have consequences for both of them. I worry about what the fallout that is sure to come from Dave, will be for Mickey and Drew? I also enjoyed the fact that Mickey showed Dave and the group of fellow players, that he is a force not to be taken so lightly. Well done.

It looks like Dave has set the battle-lines for future confrontations between Drew and himself. No good can be expected in the future from his attitude.
