I am very curious to see what will come to light on the couples trip to Stingray Heads? It seems to me all of Sydney, knows of Jordan's past, except for Cam. What could be, or will be revealed? Will Jordan reveal the truths of his past relationship? How is this going to affect Cam and Jordan? It seems that @Paladin will have to reveal his secrets to us soon. 💗

I love this chapter! Four years of constant legal battles, and now their fourth child's birth due shortly, the reality of the team's outstanding success is now sinking in for Mickey and Drew. Now it is the time for them to think about their extended family's future and their priorities for their own future. Also loved Mickey's call with his former mentor, Mr. Cortes from Middlefield. 💗 All their hard work on the legal case and their constant family financial struggles appear to be over for now. They deserved, this upbeat chapter.

After much research and investigation, Bik and Maryam made the the decision to go "hardball" right from the start. They felt that the other sides attitude, made serious business negations a waste of time and effort, The stepbrothers actions and deeds showed a lack of them taking the Patterson team and this case, as a serious negotiation. As a result, Bik and Maryam attacked with accusations of fraud and criminal abuse against the Patterson businesses. As soon as Mickey arrives home the couple learned that their third child's birth is now in progress, Again, the thought of "jumping from one frying pan into another", is at the top of my mind. Family stress at this time seems as a cruel punishment development being delivered by our author @Connectwriter❣️ My fingers are now crossed again, hoping Mickey and Drew can deal with all the pressures being placed on their shoulders, at this time.

It is still very early in this housing arrangement, and everyone seems to reacting from their own past experiences which had brought them together. Their baggage of emotions they each brought into this, is still being unpacked and it will take time to understand the actions and reactions of three different housemates. Things will take time to settle in, and patience and understanding will be needed. That is obviously much easier said, than able to be done!

The Odd Throuple Good start with interesting characters, All are older and lonely, with tight budgets as a result of different circumstances. Interesting start, unsure where we will end up? "Three's Company"?

Wow, if Mickey gets the team that he wants and trusts, the risks to time and to their families will be a shared concern to all the those involved. I loved how Bik appeared to be able to play "hard ball" with Drew"s father and could understand what would be the very rough battle that lies ahead. His company would have to stake their entire future on success or failure of this case. The risk to all involved is becoming very apparent and would not be quick or easy, in any way! A long rough and tumble fight with many pressures would be sure to be felt ahead for all involved. The thought of a possible future failure is at everyone's "front of minds" now, as it should be. A thoughtful and emotional chapter❣️ Fingers crossed for the battle that would lay ahead of them all.

Ms. Shelton had Neil help her to get her classroom ready earlier, for her first day of classes at the school. She noticed that something seemed "not right" with his actions and emotions. She made assumptions from past experiences when she worked with children dealing with problems , and had felt Neil was troubled and having problems himself. She took an interest in him and wanted to find out why now, that he seemed to be acting differently. The "getting acquainted" was directed to all his classmates, who were unknown to her. At least that was my take, on her comments. She seemed to also be a possible ally for Neil,i n the future. 🤔

Drew's father has come to their front door, and is now bringing his business and marital problems into their home, and appears to want Mickey and Drew's help. This man's business empire is crashing around him, due to losing control to his step-wife and her son's looting; and their manipulations of him and his once thriving businesses. This is not the happy reunion many hoped for, and would put great stress on this couples shoulders, should they agree to become involved. It would also add stress to "all" of their fast growing family and their already time stressed lives. Nothing about helping him recover from his situation would be fast or easy! This needs to be well thought out 🤔 before jumping into Drew's fathers self inflected problems. At least this chapter ended with some great news from Nate's family living in Hawaii❣️

Well said. What bothers me still, is the outlines for future CJ stories that he posted shortly before his passing. At the time it seemed very unusual? Little did we understand what Carlos was giving to us 💗. It was his form of a rushed goodbye, to all of his friends and loyal readers❣️ I miss the Carlos that he shared so freely with us all. It was so very sad, and I was shocked by his passing but very great full for the time and effort that he had shared with us over the years.

Well done, with this alternative reality @Gary L I remember how we all felt about Stephen and his arrogant ego and jealousy of our beloved CJ! Your story put a smile on my face, at that vivid memory. 💗

L agree with @Summerabbacat that Jordan's attitude at the beach area was intriguing and triggered thoughts about his past partner. You know, the part of the story you are keeping from us readers for now. I hope we find this detail out before this story moves on to Part 2! I won't venture a guess at this time. because there is so little known as of now. But it just lurks in the background, and keeps our curiosity active, just as you have planned. 💗

A fun short story as @drsawzall illustrates as a drag queen "cat fight". I have seen quite a few of these first hand. I enjoyed your humor, and the snark remarks, included in the fun telling of the story. Been there, seen that❣️

Although this comment was made in reference to the possibility of third child, it also reflects many of their experiences in their lives together up to now. What could the unexpected appearance of Drew's father at the door, bring into this family's home? 🤔 The answer should be revealed with the next chapter of this well told evolving story. 💗

Ellen's will was a relief to Micky and Drew as to her desires, with the stored frozen eggs being an unexpected possible future option, Now it will be a crash course in into baby care with the help of Mickey's mother and their helpful friends, who are nearby neighbors and Mickey' boss. Two new-born babies will need lots of attention and care. So far, so good for the new parents. Excellent chapter❣️

I was hoping for another chapter, but it was marked complete after my posting (I think). The story was enchanted as posted and was a heart warming holiday gift! What a joy filled chapter to experience, that was shared by all. "All for one and One for all" has been an amazing experience for the gang"s family and loved ones❣️ Will they all go to the Christmas dinner with their sons and loved ones? I hope we too can all go together with them 🎅💗

Wow. Ellen's condition moved tragic at an incredible pace. So many past memories and emotions, mixed in with the new harsh realities for all the affected people at the emergency room and beyond. The twins appear to be healthy but their future is now in flux. Important decisions and legal procedures will now have to take place. What would Ellen have wanted to happen at this tragic moment in time? The twins should now be the center of all concerned, Very sad chapter but things are also up in the air for now, and were well revealed to us by @Connectwriter 💗

Lucas is an over grow bully who thrives on power, intimidation, and domination of everyone around him. 😠 Everyone is scared to death to be subject of his wrath. Things look very dark and bleak for Neil, who has become his number one target. I hate watching this behavior allowed to continue unabated. But what will it take for him to let up? How much longer will @Ronyx put us through this literary mental torture? 😟

The gang does not speak squirrel, but they can transmit human. Only in a Charlie Boone adventure in Twombly, does this seems logical. Now on to the question of "stolen wishes"? I do not think this was an evil act. What could Pixel and Hex been up to with the magical wish lights? Is a joint effort possible? "ALL for one and ONE for all" ❣️

A lot has taken place since our last chapter ended. and now a shocking cliff hanger to end this chapter. Ellen has become an accepted staple around the house and neighborhood. Fingers now crossed for her health, and also that of the soon to arrive twins. 😟

So far, so good for our new couple, as to their family reactions. One has to worry what is the story about Jordan's past relationship? This story line will come to light when @Paladin decides to move it forward. As for now it will lurk in the background, as his family shows great concern about him,as a result of his past experience. I hope the couple can continue to build on their strengths in this fast paced loving pairing. 💗
