Idk if Noah is as insecure as some have said. I do think he’s as much a horny teenage boy who’s used to getting what he wants often. I do think he’s a manipulative little fuck. I wish Christian hit him in BOTH eyes. I don’t care if it’s overkill. I do agree that this isn’t the first time this has happened although perhaps not at Harrison West. Although maybe so since Jack warned Nick. I think the group making him a pariah is a bit of a stretch but removing him from their group and circling the wagons around Nick was the right thing to do. No teenager deserves to be a pariah? I don’t know about that. I think there’s some teens out there that manipulative and DEFINITELY know what they’re doing. Noah fits that mold for me. His boldness while Nick was trying to take a shower proves that. Plus, look at how quickly the group rallied to protect Nick throughout the day class to class. This was organized and planned and agreed to on the quick. No debate. Almost as if they KNEW Noah would try again to confront Nick to “talk” which in my mind translates to “Noah to sing his siren’s song in Nick’s ear again.” Noah’s naive enough to buy it and believe him too. Even if it’s over time. I’ve said it earlier and I’ll say it again, Noah has narcissistic tendencies BIG TIME. He’ll try again. If he gets shut down, he’ll lash out. So yeah, Noah deserves the Pariah title imo.

I had the same thought in the beginning when Jack initially warned Nick of Noah.

That’s a neat idea. But I’d love to see prequel more I think..and where Connor goes with his take talent after high school. Does he get noticed and make it big? Idk, just something to kind of round out the story.

It was possible that his grandmother set him up while under her care. I do agree though that a child prodigy would go unnoticed for long by the authorities much less the press being such a regular mainstay in a bar. But, it does create the means for him to hone is stage presence

Sigh… poor Nick. He kind of did this to himself in a lot of ways. I feel bad for Jack too because he’s not been shy about his feelings for Nick and yet…here we are. Tbh, I half expected Noah to be with Danny. Nick just needs to own up to his mistakes to Jack and make it right.

that about sums it up

I thought about that interaction between Joel and the idiot most of the day off and on. I wasn’t necessarily trying to, it just happened. But I’ll bite now. I think there’s something more there about the two of them. Something Joel doesn’t see. He’s the stud baseball player right? Does the idiot play or wish he could? Is it jealousy ? Or good old fashioned stupid ass bullying? I get the feeling since it’s a small town and they’ve grown up together even if they’ve always been at odds, is it viewed as a one way competition and Joel is just oblivious to it?

He’s going to need Davin’s help I suspect to whether that storm. This even further’s my suspicion that Davin is gay too because he would know from his own experience.

Davin wanted Joel to say it. The way Davin acts it’s like he’s much more observant than anyone else in the room and knows it but he’s almost smug about it. But I don’t think he’s being malicious at all. I think he’s actually interested in Joel and I’d go so far as to bet attracted to him. I think he’s aware SOMETHING happened. He’s got to notice how jumpy Joel is. He’s got to know there’s a reason for it. I think he’s giving Joel a chance to move at his own pace without scaring him off. It’s dicey, daring even. But I Davin is very smart

Sigh. Well I think we all kind of saw this coming but maybe not to the rapid extent so quickly. Johnny being there wasn’t a surprise which also means Roy would be there too. Joel tagging Johnny was going to happen at some point at the falls. Johnny is such an asshole he can’t help himself. Roy is…curiously perceptive. This makes him interested in the Joel’s story. The fact he’s been shut down twice by Joel and now his brother too is only going to make him more curious. But his curiosity seems more out concern more than anything. I have a feeling he might become more of an interceding friend between Joel and whatever happens with his old school. At least this way Joel can keep informed. As for Colt, he’s a bit of a typical teen with a girlfriend. His going to push back where he can some. The fight isn’t going to make matters there any better. Colt was tasked to keep Joel drama free and he chose to ignore him. I have a feeling Colt is going to catch hell about that at home. Joel will defend him on that though and it’ll frustrate Colt more because Joel shouldn’t have to. The conversation between them will be heated but air clearing and in so I think Colt will keep his secret from others but not before Davin and Joel resume their conversation. Davin is 💯 interested in Joel and has figured out the story. So at least there’s a few allies for Joel.

Worry about Monday on Monday. Today has enough trouble of its own.
