Chapter 166 Easy Come, Easy Go
SilentandBroken commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 166 Easy Come, Easy Go
Awesome relationship building chapter on many fronts. More like this please. -
Ok I’ve taken a few days to not read and a few more since my last comment which was a few chapters ago. Sometimes I just don’t have much to add as it’s already been said or frankly I just don’t have time to collect my thoughts. Now I do so here goes nothing. The scene between Robbie and Sue was great. It showed his maturing. So did the following conversations with Rory. Robbie‘S defending of Nathan’s love of him instead of simply agreeing with Rory that Nathan is crazy. It was a very mature thought to share and I think it secretly both pleased and saddened Rory. I think it pleased him in that he recognized Robbie’s maturing. It saddened him because I think Rory has quietly decided to himself after being dumped by a girl he really needs to give Robbie a chance and Robbie’s comment also affirmed what to Rory, appears to be Robbie being committed to Nathan. In his mind, I could imagine it would seem like there’s no chance for Rory to get with Robbie so long as Nathan is Robbie’s boyfriend. It also shows Rory’s maturity by staying silent on this because it would only make things worse if he told Robbie now. One thing I think above all else is that Rory wants Robbie to be happy and will support whatever Robbie finds that makes him so. nicola’s incessant need to gaslight and put her social standing ahead of Robbie is nearly revolting. I really wanted to tell her off. I could say the same for Nathan and his paranoia with how he treats Robbie too. Nathan does NOT deserve Robbie at all. I think Robbie is slowly starting to see that too. David putting Robbie in his place was appropriate but perhaps a bit harsh. Although I could understand his need to defend his sister’s decisions. Robbie needs to respect her wishes, even though he feels like he should have a say some, he had his chance and chose otherwise. Move on boy.

You know, for the whole time up until I saw you posted a new chapter this last week, I had thought you had already completed this story. I won’t lie, i‘m hooked -
Chapter 155 April Fool
SilentandBroken commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 155 April Fool
Something bothers me about this whole last few chapters. I think Mitch might’ve been the one who pushed Robbie. It’s unfortunate that part of the story kind of fell off. Mitch is very homophobic and violent. Alex’s dad popping back up also is cause for concern and some thinking. The continued references to Rory’s false sexual orientation also are keeping me thinking. great chapter -
Chapter 153 A Wide Berth

I think Robbie finds a way to get Symmonds to swing on him and that’ll help as Robbie will proudly stand there and just take it. -
Chapter 153 A Wide Berth
SilentandBroken commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 153 A Wide Berth
Ok first of all, I happen to know a little bit about boats. I grew up on the water in upstate New York in the Finger Lakes on the opposite side of Lake Ontario. I’ve even been on Lake Ontario. Just to give those who don’t know just how big this Lake is, you cannot see either shore if you’re in a boat in the middle of it without binoculars. Powerful ones. It’s closer to a small ocean with the weather just as unpredictable. This purchase by Don isn’t a small thing. It definitely fits his ego. Some of the seemingly innocuous moments in the chapter like the Pastor getting a bit touchy with Robbie sent klaxon bells going off in my mind as a read. Then the conversation with Matthew and Symmond’s behavior towards him only further solidified my concern. It’s a bit early to tell but maybe just maybe Matthew is gay but he’s terrified at this point. Tbh he acted as if he’s he may have indeed been raped by Symmonds. Again, it’s a bit early to tell. Robbie needs to build Matthew’s trust in him first. Keeping his word is the only way to start that. BUT, I think Jo will quickly see signs from Robbie that something big and bad is up. I think he gives her enough information to start herself on a bit of digging and still be able to have Robbie keep his word..at least technically. If nothing else, Matthew is the one is crisis and that might be the angle Jo needs. great chapter @Dodger -

Chapter 150 Smile and Think of England
SilentandBroken commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 150 Smile and Think of England
I’m still laughing at “Richard the Third” lmfao. 🤣 I don’t envy Robbie or Steph at this point but they’re doing the best they can with it. Don’s nefarious meddling I saw coming. Especially once we learned Steph’s Dad is his attorney. Nice try Sue. I’m not sure how it’s gonna go now. -
Chapter 148 One of Those Days
SilentandBroken commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 148 One of Those Days
Entertaining chapter. I’m still laughing at the expression “up the duff”. Kudos to Steph for even having the courage to tell Robbie at all. Tbh I’m kinda surprised she did. It was the right thing to do. Robbie handled it well..for now. Nathan fainting was hilarious. He’s gonna be pissed later and make himself a victim of cheating somehow just to keep the drama going me think. Oh and Nicola, yeah she needs to get off her Queen Bitch attitude. While it suits her, she is acting JUST LIKE Robbie but only to him. There’s no excuse for it. Part of me thinks she’s jealous of him and perhaps of Steph too. I think Robbie leading Mr. Lube on was hilarious but he’s also not wrong. Sue will be floored. But once she learns what the kids have agreed to I think she will be more accepting. Especially more so than Don. As for him? Yeah forget him. He’s irrelevant anymore. -
Chapter 143 Unfinished Business
SilentandBroken commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 143 Unfinished Business
I’m working in a couple theories . I think Robbie made the right decision. He needs to take care of this Nathan infatuation. Robbie has matured some and handled both Nathan’s initial mood well last chapter and I think that helped him also handle Conner well too. I think Robbie did the honorable thing still helping with the farm. He missed an opportunity with his mom to simply state that he and Conner didn’t match as well as they hoped personality wise. Perhaps she could’ve helped Conner see that later but oh well. I’m thinking Alex is Nathan‘s dealer. Or at least was. This is the history between them Robbie seems to forget to get to pursue. This brings to my mind two other points. This shows Nathan wasn’t as entirely truthful with Robbie on his habit . I also suspect Nathan is going through some withdrawal hence why he blue up at his family over denying Ginny. That was a good move too. I think she’s replaced Alex as dealer. I think Nathan has been using for longer than he said. i think Don will find out and i think fireworks happen. I hope the dr’s appt Robbie made is for an STD checkup and that’s when he realizes his mistake with Nicola’s friend. -
Chapter 142 Beggars Can't Be Choosers
SilentandBroken commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 142 Beggars Can't Be Choosers
Ok yes Nathan brings out Robbie’s better traits to a point but Robbie is also blind with his immediate goals as it comes to Nathan. Robbie should’ve addressed Why he walked away but seeing how was frosty to him at the beginning, it might’ve been better to wait. Bobbie is completely blind to the fact Nathan played the victim yet again. -

Chapter 137 If the Shoe Doesn't Fit
SilentandBroken commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 137 If the Shoe Doesn't Fit
Ok so here’s the thing. I’ve always suspected Alex for the smokes and cocaine in the bottom of the pack that Robbie found. Don and Sue have clearly already forgotten about him. I actually believe Alex at this point about the swear jar money. I have a feeling he knew something more about Nathan and perhaps Nathan IS dealing and Alex was trying to get the $2k to cover Nathan’s tab to the handler. That said, I don’t know for sure if Nathan was aware of the swear jar but odds are he is. He’s been over plenty enough to know about it. Is it possible he took it? Yes in a desperate act but I don’t think he’s using. There’d be physical signs and so far they don’t match. Frankly, I suspect Don took it. I suspect possibly Alex saw him do so I don’t think Don’s using either. Again no signs physically. Plus that’s not Don’s MO. I think Don is trying to set up something nefarious to deflect from HIS behavior. Somehow I think Don knows more about the drugs. I suspect HE may be the dealer. it’s easy to assume Don’s week long absences from the family are because he’s been screwing someone on the side meaning sex. I don’t think so. I think he might be playing both sides with the police. He’s in the perfect position to lead a double life as a pusher and he’s using his cult (I mean church for muscle and transportation of the drugs into Town. It’s too lucrative for him to resist. I bet Symmons or Tony roughed up Nathan. I wouldn’t be shocked that Tony being older knows Don via the acting and advertising connections. They made Nathan and Alex mules. Then Don keeps in good with the Chief by tipping him off to the party. And where the fuck is Ginny? Is she lying low? -
Chapter 135 Brotherly Love
SilentandBroken commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 135 Brotherly Love
Ok Robbie is ugh…where to start. What a putz. If you’re that hung up on Nathan fucking go back and quit playing games with Connor. Shit even Connor is picking up on that. Connor is right that Nathan is playing with Robbie too. Im rooting for Connor to ditch Robbie now so Robbie knows how it feels. What Robbie needs to do is fly solo for a while. Alex popping up isn’t a shock at all. His $2k ask is a HUGE red flag. I bet he ditched his drugs when the cops showed and now he’s gotta recoup for his dealer. He’s not looking for bail money. He slipped out. Of course Robbie is going to give him the money which is absolutely stupid. As for the swear jar money, either Alex is lying or Robbie is right he didn’t have time or it’s Don. Don will justify it because he’s pissed at Robbie for simply being Robbie. of course the BIGGEST problem of all is none of any of all that. Robbie got that girl knocked up. Enter a whole new host of problems he’s nowhere prepared to handle. Smdh -

IMAGINE Magazine Question for 7/15
SilentandBroken replied to JeffsFort's topic in Comicality's Shack Clubhouse's Cafe
For me it was definitely My Only Escape. For the longest time it felt like I was the only one who lived with the fear and panic I developed even after I was free of the clutches of my abuser. It was validation and I balled my ass off for myself after the first time I read the story. I cried for me. For my forgiveness. I cried because I realized it was finally over and I could talk about it. I cried because I realized someone else knew what I experienced..I mean really truly got it. I cried for them for their pain. Nobody ever put was that panic felt like into words quite like Comicality did and I will be forever grateful to him for it. Man I miss him. -

Nathan is pissing me off and his true colors of a narcissistic little prat are showing. He’s teasing Robbie for all he’s worth to get him out of him. I think if Robbie tries go back to him Nathan will coldly say no. -
Chapter 132 Talking Dirty
SilentandBroken commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 132 Talking Dirty
Ok so i agree absolutely that Robbie is a survivor. I’ve been thinking lately about this story so here goes . i think that’s why when it comes down to it, why he left Nathan. He’s terrified of rejection & so instead of being dismissed, he cut bait first. That doesn’t mean he wanted to. Hence his hangup about Nathan. He doesn’t learn from his mistakes mainly because he doesn’t have anyone calling him out on them and using the results to make their point so he sees what he’s doing. This is where Jo is gonna come in and big. He NEEDS someone to be honest with him but also someone who he can trust. The only two people in this story he trusts are Jo and Rory. Speaking of Rory, I need to recant my last statement about him not being a closet gay. After I made that comment, I honestly mulled that over and his character in my head for most of the work day (odd I know but it was a slow day and autopilot won 🤷). Anyway, it occurred to me that I wonder if Rory is at least bi but closeted and perhaps he’s just scared of the repercussions of being so from Public ridicule and school . I’ve noticed a swing of public support at least a little in the school with Nathan and the last play with Peter Pan. He’s overtly gay, the start of the show, and he’s got enough influence to have some say on the writing of said play. That was a success despite Don’s formal complaint was telling and surprising to me. Could the town’s opinion’s be changing? I think seeing this (because Rory notices almost everything but rarely comments), it might be slowing softening Rory’s resistance to staying in the closet. The resistance in school is now apparently only in pockets. Is it due to fear of punishment by the school? Perhaps. Or perhaps something more in addition. Either way, I get the feeling that the argument Robbie had with Connor showed Robbie some cracks in Robbie’s own armor and I think he’s learning how to process that information. I think Rory and Rebecca shagging on the other side of the wall to Connor and Robbie pointed out a lot. I would almost bet, that if someone pitted all 5 boys, Nathan, Rory, Tom, Connor and even Alex for Robbie to choose at free will without any repercussions, telling Robbie that Rory is gay, I’d bet Robbie would pick him and not simply because he’s had experiences with the others. It’s because Rory’s personality compliments Robbie’s on a much deeper level, much more so than Tom’s. Tom and Robbie will always love and respect each other but I think it’s due to their history with Robbie’s heartbreak of losing his mom and Tom was there to support him. The respect is there but it isn’t the same. Rory hasn’t had to be there for Robbie to support him through anything painful like that and yet he still respects him. Rory seems to me like he’s still on the fence straight, bi, or gay. Robbie just needs to keep doing what he’s and let that relationship bloom. i like Connor, but I don’t think the distance will be conducive. Plus his folks are probably a bit too liberal in the mindset for Robbie’s comfort when it comes to sex. It seems there’s a bit lack of privacy in that family and I think Robbie recognizes he at least needs that. So no I don’t think it’ll be long lived. Connor is a sweet boy though. lastly, on the topic of unprotected sex. @Dodger, I think you’re spot on. Bravo. My ONE BIG concern here with Robbie is Steph. I hope he didn’t knock her up. I would also get checked because I may be mistaken but it doesn’t sound it was her first rodeo either. All in all, great chapter. I really enjoyed this one -

Flashbacks suck 😔 -
Ok I’m kinda peeved at Nicola and Steph here for their antics and this roping Robbie into it. I’m peeved at Robbie too for not having the backbone to resist temptation both Stephanie and again now with Nathan. He screwed up at the interview with the police. Since THEY mentioned Don first, he should’ve said his said Don’s a lying sack of shit and trying to spin things. He’s got to discredit him. I also think it’s time Robbie get an attorney and pay for it out of his own money. With regards to Nathan /connor, Nathan is not gonna stick around. He’s too toxic for Robbie. Connor is just too distant. Shit or get off the pot boy

Chapter 122 The Anniversary

Oh and yeah I think Nathan was genuinely concerned with the note. He was clearly hurt by how they broke even IF he’s got some facts twisted. Now he will only deny those. Oh well. He wasn’t right for Robbie anyway.
