Part of me hates to see heartbreak coming from something that is going so well like with Robbie’s relationship with Fran. To be honest, it should’ve never happened in the first place. Robbie should’ve just kept her at friend level. He’d have her support and guidance always especially if he felt he could trust her enough to come out to her from the start. Now, I feel he’s gonna lose her as friend too because he’s going to admit he’s been lying to her this whole time and something tells me that is what is gonna hurt her worse. The only way he saves this is try to win her sympathies but I don’t see that. I have a feeling she can be very spiteful when angry. As for this chapter, it’s nice to see Robbie be honest with himself finally. I still have some reservations about Nathan. I think it won’t last long. Rory is who I would be pursuing. But Nathan will teach Robbie how to have confidence coming out. Then there’s the family and Alex. Before anything, the person he should talk to is Sue but this will happen after the whole thing blows up and probably save him in the end.

Weinerdog is right. Fran doesn’t deserve the heartbreak but unfortunately I feel that whole relationship is a bit of Russian Roulette. If they keep having unprotected sex, she’s gonna get pregnant. So the heartbreak is the lesser of two evils

Yes Alex knew damn well. I know how Robbie feels as I made these same poor decisions a predator’s manipulation at his age too. No it isn’t rape ..not really. Surprisingly good conversation between Robbie and Nathan. I will adjust my previous opinion on Nathan from my comment last chapter. This was a very insightful look at his maturity. I think he will help Robbie discover who he really is and who he needs to be for himself because he needs to be. I think Robbie is beginning to realize that. I don’t see these two being a long term item however I do see them being great friends

robbie is more than complex. I mean he IS BUT he is also very very confused about himself and without a consistent guiding role model or compass he is adrift to the whim of his emotions and being 15-16yrs old change. A lot. And often. I think the ONE person who is slighting sensing the literal danger Robbie is in is Rory. Trouble is, Rory is also in that same boat. They both see it in each other but not themselves. They’re just too scared to open up more about themselves to each other and I think the temptation is there for that. Nathan in my opinion is leagues ahead in maturity for self confidence than Robbie and while the grass is greener with Nathan, Robbie nothing will change Robbie’s mind. Alex is big trouble for Robbie but next to Fran, is the only one giving the attention he thinks he needs at the moment and it is goons go badly regardless of whether Robbie shows up on Friday night or not. Something is screaming to me that skipping Friday night with Alex will be safer. He still can skip out and should.

Finally…Boy X… hmmmm Rory is definitely possible..the scented paper and lipstick smudges throws me off though as I don’t see that coming from him and so far the only flamboyant gay boy in the story is Nathan and he’s not in home room. Speaking of Nathan, that boy just comes off to me as a sexy fling and there isn’t any interest for love for him. I think that boy just is horny and will shag whoever’s willing so long as they have a cock. Robbie NEEDS the support of someone who loves him. Rory might be that boy possibly. Rory also comes across as confident enough to speak up and call out to Robbie for his attention in the hall so that does two things for me: 1 the locker notes are very ..asserting initiative which seems counter intuitive to being in the closet. 2: it may be that whoever boy x is is someone Robbie hasn’t even spoke to yet and isn’t even a blip on his gaydar yet.
