Wow that was very confusing. I had to read it twice to understand what happened and I’m not entirely sure I did. The time jump came out of nowhere. I think I got it off the prior comments.. I think

Your first two replies make sense. I realize I wasn’t clear on the last one. I think what I was trying to say was that when I leave the browser up on my phone and return back to it later to complete the chapter, sometimes when I go to like or whatever the chapter it says there was an error. I think it’s because it’s likely been hours since I was last there and even though it refreshed, it’s like nope. Not happening. Again, all mobile browser

Oh and sometimes when I’m reading a story and come back to in and complete a chapter, it doesn’t like me when I go to like it.

Dark mode is a must for me. And mobile. Loving the of it all. I think the only two minor (very minor) gripes I have are when you’re searching through the filters and pick only 1 or 2 things to keep and leave the rest, it doesn’t do a great filtering but this might be me not using the damn option fully . The other thing I find a bit frustrating is when I go to comment off of someone else’s comment, the quote option doesn’t always behave and drop me down so I can start typing

Ok I’m not gonna like that chapter was difficult. I’m a little misty eyed. I agree Luke was right and correct to call Rory out like that and to get pissed doing so. Luke provided a much needed vantage point that Rory had not considered at least very well. Grandma Alice…what to say..sigh. Given her latest actions, showing up unannounced, dropping some unexpected life altering news of her own only creates more confusion. But I think I get it. She is doing what she should have done in the beginning and addressing , apologizing, and forcing Rory to make the decision he’s been saying he’s made but in truth has been avoiding. Sure he’s stubborn. But that’s ok. He’s looking at his situation too black and white for one. Grandma getting married I think forces his hand a bit and that’s a good thing bc he needs to make a decision and stick to it. I think he should stay and visit on break back in Nevada. His life there is not going to be the same as it was when he left. I don’t think he truly understands that. In AZ, he’s done well. He’s accepted as gay (mostly) and has much more support and respect there vs Nevada. I hope that is what he decides anyway.

This has been the best chapter yet. Kudos to Rory for finally standing up for himself against Aaron. Rory and Beth are cute together although i worry it’ll be short lived. Luke is right. I get Rory’s frustration with grandma A but maybe it’s hard for her to explain why too.

Playing mouse to Rory’s cat is both hilarious and smart for Seth as he’s not letting emotions dictate his responses which is what Rory wants. It’s clear what he’s NOT saying that Seth is the one who WAS interested in Rory but after the drama and all the prior interactions with Rory, Seth is not allowing himself Aaron’s scraps. Even if Rory as scraps are really tempting because Seth is still attracted to him. Rory is being so stubborn in his search for answers he’s blind to the truths directly in front of him. Perhaps Seth sees Luke’s attraction to Rory and thinks is not got a chance idk.

Tbh Seth’s apology seems truthful. And so does his version of events. How ironic is it…or selfish for Rory, that the one time someone is FINALLY upfront and honest with him, he totally misconstrues that for something initially and doesn’t recognize it. Boy Rory is slow on the pickup

It’s called narcissism and Aaron is exactly how they act. He’s a manipulative little boy who uses his hot looks to his advantage to screw with Rory’s head. Speaking of Rory, he needs to make up his damn mind. He’s waaay past getting a clue because they’re been there since he’s got to Az.

Ooooh this boy…sigh. Aaron is dangerous. Rory is clueless & can’t make up his damn mind because he’s too afraid to acknowledge the good person Luke is. HE is who he needs. As for Eddie and Jase, whatever it is isn’t any of Rory’s business until one of those two make it his business and bring him into the mix. There hasn’t been a whole lot of explanation of why Jase is in the picture let alone mad at Eddie. We can speculate all day and only remotely come close to being right here. If I were to speculate, I’d say Jase is pissed at Eddie because Eddie has yet to talk with Jase and Rory together and lay everything out. What everything actually is idk. Could be nothing but given how Jase is behaving I’d guess it’s something big but no clue what.

Yeah I’m REALLY not feeling all trusting about Aaron. Or Seth for that matter. As for the rest, I feel it’ll work out.

I get it with Rory. His anger is justified. Is he being immature with how he’s handling it? Sure. But, he’s also 16 and 16 year olds think with two things. Emotions and hormones. Put yourself in his spot. Is he missing some super huge clues? Absolutely but again, his emotions and hormones are dominating his focus. Out of EVERYONE so far, the most mature one is damn dog calling Luke out. So this chapter goes to Chey. I loved the pool scene. I loved the nostalgic moment Rory was using to help cope in his grief with his mom. I don’t think it’ll be long now before things get revealed. No way can any of these characters continue their own charade.

Soo good soo hot! Damn Comsie. I take a break from your stories since you passed because..well because I just can’t. You were so fucking good at this shit. I found this story just cruising looking for something before I even realized it was yours and before you know it I’m sucked in and now I want more of this story. I want to see these boys bloom into soo much more…😭

Weinerdog is right. It’s going to be very hard and difficult but the struggle is going to be worth the finish. While GFD is Comicality’s Magnum Opus, this one is the one that resonates what life was like growing up for a lot of us. IMO, it’s his best work.

I just discovered this story and tbh …I’ve had a hard time still accepting your passing Comsie. God I hate knowing there will never be another masterpiece from your wonderful anxious loving mind on here. As for this story..I know it was writing with the intent to be a short story but damn you just get it off the ground gorgeously and it’s over. This kid was so precious and I soo want more. I want to learn more about that Irish heartthrob. Yes I’d be super pissed at my friends who outed me and I also have to agree they’d get a pass this one time too but they got lucky this time. I don’t think I would be able to forgive them if they did it again. Ugh 😩 why did you have to die Comsie. Other writers here come close to writing so accurately how well the nervousness and anxiety of coming out as a teen feels like but I think everyone would agree you have that “it” that makes it feel real..like you ARE that person. Such talent you had.
