He was my first discovery on GA and will never be dethroned as the best. I hate it when I’m right. It always costs something. Just last night I was thinking about him and realized we haven’t heard from him in a while. Then this morning I see this post. The impact he made on me in the briefest of interactions was like a meteor. World changing. I will miss him deeply. I am shocked & yet not. He got his Sunrise. Someone please pick up his torch and finish GFD. How I hope he passed on his vision with that story. RIP my friend.

I think Mine knows that if he truly left the twins to their own devices the mischief would be drawing attention to why he wasn’t around and THAT doesn’t need to happen

Ok I really loved how the date went. I love how they showed Robbie and Nathan their sexual attraction to each other and still maintained their control to behave themselves. This is a level of maturity we’ve not yet really seen in Robbie. I think Nathan will be good for Robbie in teaching him to be self confident and help him come out. That said, it’s clear Nathan (who is liked by and large by the Taylor family), Daniel and Nicola will support Robbie against his new parents and help them come around too. Don will be the most difficult sell of course. Something tells me Sue is more open minded than even Don is aware and it won’t take much to win her over

I agree with Skinny and Tim here. A mentally healthy Robbie is precious. I love how he got defensive to that jock tool

I think Nicola might have that angle in the back of her mind but only so she can keep her social status.

I got the feeling that Fran’s brother was trying to get him drunk? What if Fran DIDN’T pass out and took advantage to sketch Robbie nude while she had the opportunity and he doesn’t remember because he was passed out?! If so, I fear that sketch will become public and then things will really get interesting.

I feel Robbie is going to make a mistake being so careless here yet this time, I feel he’ll learn from it more than any other lesson

First off, Robbie has definitely earned his plight he’s made for himself. He doesn’t learn from his mistakes and he doesn’t deserve Nathan. That said, I do not understand why Robbie had to be so hostile to Nicola. Sure she hadn’t made it easy, but come on dude. I think Daniel’s comment at the end that Nathan has a boyfriend is him being speculative but who knows what was said by who at the party at this point. Frankly, if I’m Nathan, I’m not waiting for Robbie. If Robbie keeps it up he’s gonna push away everyone including any smoke’s wisp of a chance at Rory which, is probably his safest and best chance and not completely coming apart. It’s clear Rory cares for him from the interest he’s shown Robbie, especially after that scuffle with Alex and his prior warnings about Alex. Again, Robbie blew it off. Someone needs to tell Robbie off to his face and be brutally honest so this kid gets his shit together because right now, he’s on track to run to Alex and THAT can’t happen. Ironically, I think the person to do it, is and should be Nicola. I think she knows waaaay more than she’s letting on. I think she’s more like her mother than we know. I think she cares for Robbie and we’ve seen glimpses but in a big sister way. The way it should be. The only question is, will Robbie FINALLY listen?

Two words: light weight. Ok now that that’s over with, I agree Robbie’s serious propensity at making poor.. no BAD decisions will eventually come back to haunt him and probably sooner than later. I kinda feel for Fran now. She was right. He has used her & I feel like this is the beginning of a bad times coming for him. Including at home as I think this time will push Sue too far.

Robbie is blind to Rory who is so sweet on him. It’ll break his heart when he learns about Nathan. As for Fran, until the argument tonight, she was in denial. Now I worry if she will be vindictive.

Ok Robbie succeeded in ending it with Fran and Nathan is right on both scores that breakups never end easily and she will get over it eventually. How he handled it wasn’t the best but i suppose that’s to be expected. I think Robbie asking if Daniel can go to the game is a huge towards building a closer relationship with him and it’ll earn some brownie points with Sue. Speaking of the game, I worry Rory has a crush on Robbie and wanted to get him away from school and alone but felt pressured to say yes on allowing Robbie to invite Daniel. His behavior still has me thinking he has it bad for Robbie but is terrified to make the first move more than this invite to baseball. I think he might’ve thought baseball would be good because of Robbie’s feigned interest for show with Alex. Speaking of Alex, I think he’s far from done with Robbie. Alex is used to getting no taking what he wants and he wants more of Robbie. I think he pulled that punch on Robbie so as to only glance it and it not hurt much

I’d be hard pressed to deny Nathan were I in Robbie’s shoes. After eye candy is eye candy.

Again Fran with the very loud sexuality suggestive comments for all to hear. She’s sounding more like a slut and it’s unflattering to her and Robbie. I would be pissed at her for her for her continued disregard and lack of respect of Robbie. As cute as Nathan is, he’s not Robbie’s type and Robbie is too Googley eyed to see it. This invite to Toronto is a big step for Rory. Robbie needs to take it.

Omg Robbie!!! Dude!! Text him back!!!!!!! Sigh. Ok rant over. Now on to Fran….wth . First she was VERY inconsiderate with her volume in a public place while Robbie confessed. Then to act like he never said shit was very selfish. This has me losing a lot of faith in her even potentially still being a friend once they breakup. It is my hope she knew Robbie well enough by this point in their relationship to be able to tell not only that he was struggling but being vulnerable and honest…but know she goes completely girl and selfish. If I were Robbie I would’ve walked out on her before the movie and left her there to walk home. But I’m a bit dramatic like that.🤣

Part of me hates to see heartbreak coming from something that is going so well like with Robbie’s relationship with Fran. To be honest, it should’ve never happened in the first place. Robbie should’ve just kept her at friend level. He’d have her support and guidance always especially if he felt he could trust her enough to come out to her from the start. Now, I feel he’s gonna lose her as friend too because he’s going to admit he’s been lying to her this whole time and something tells me that is what is gonna hurt her worse. The only way he saves this is try to win her sympathies but I don’t see that. I have a feeling she can be very spiteful when angry. As for this chapter, it’s nice to see Robbie be honest with himself finally. I still have some reservations about Nathan. I think it won’t last long. Rory is who I would be pursuing. But Nathan will teach Robbie how to have confidence coming out. Then there’s the family and Alex. Before anything, the person he should talk to is Sue but this will happen after the whole thing blows up and probably save him in the end.

Weinerdog is right. Fran doesn’t deserve the heartbreak but unfortunately I feel that whole relationship is a bit of Russian Roulette. If they keep having unprotected sex, she’s gonna get pregnant. So the heartbreak is the lesser of two evils
