Marc along wiyh Adam excelled at using the latest technology to put their ships and crews through rigorous battlefild testing, The used their spacial system to eter a restricted area and placed the ships under new stresses. Later the ships, some run by their children,were put through their paces in new environments. Simulated attacks by Marc in asteroid fields scored victories using a new ship and advanced weapons. The ships hit were shaken and were expected to learn from their simulated defeat. We left the chapter as Marc is planning a new attack on the ships from an unexpected area ueing his spacial system to move to a new area far away to carry out new attacks. Marc does not give up and is relentless.

Maverick is constantly thinking, planning and then executing. The Inn is coming together ver well, The training and constant staff feedback is working out very well,. The number of people interested in the Inn restaurant is exceeeding expectations. The special dining and dancing event has turned out so popular and fulfilling, Randy and Maverick are getting kits of suport for their efforst and are always findng time to have awesome sex. I feel for Zdain. He is lost and feels he cannot ever be accepted by his dad or be more than a friend/associate to the male he wants. He is an outsider and remains honest and respectful. He does not try to sow division. He ,though, can see the social divisions in this country and not support them. The Redeemers scare me

In the woods two vampires seek to kill him, but Renato kills them instead. Renato transforms himself into a black wolf and is going to follow Ray as he seeks Gabriel. He will be a lethal protector for Ray,Since the witches are not honoring their pledge to protect the pack from vampires. Gabriel will not hesitate to leave with Ray and Renato when they find him.

Heran and his student will enter thr caracombs to hopefully what powerful eveil caused the destruction. Their journey is dangerous.
