I have to echo @Al Norris's comments. The scene of Zander (short for Alexander?) coming out to his parents was very touching. I felt his frustration at being hounded to find a girlfriend. Not from experience, but the scene just felt so, so real. Awesome job @Parker Owens.
Lunch Boy is going to be a lot like Andy. Stares at the good-looking boys, too afraid to make a move. Why do I think he's going to be in the advanced math class, and they won't be able to avoid each other? He'll have two people trying to get him to that lunch table. Time to take a chance, Andy. Maybe?
Apparently, it seemed the boys were not destined to meet up with Marie-Louise. Shortly after they went inside George's house, she drove past.
"Did you hear a car, George?"
"Maybe."
George looked out the front window, but Marie-Louise was already out of sight, "I don't see anything."
"Maybe we can have a drink and go back out. If we sit at a corner on the main road, maybe someone will go past us?"
"That's not a bad idea, Lionel."

I’m hoping this isn’t the calm before the storm. Things never seem to go well for “young Eric” for long. But for now, he’s safe, fed, and sleeping indoors. Relish it while it lasts Stefan.
Actually, Tyler is screwed any way you look at it unless he can get more than a 4.0 GPA. I wish I checked this earlier, 3 years at 3.5, and a 4th at 4.0 gets him to 3.625. If he came in to his senior year at 3.6, he could get to 3.7. His father set an unattainable goal. Tyler needs to sue dad for breach of contract or something.
Damn, it's just getting tougher on Stefan. Maybe, with luck, he'll find his mother, although I have a sneaky suspicion dad had killed her all those years ago.
I know I'm real late to the game here, but this line hit me so hard. It's so sad that anybody could think that. I know this is a story, but I bet there are thousands of people in this world that feel this way:
