  1. You guess correctly to some extent. The biggest reason was this:
  2. See my previous comment.
  3. True, if they hadn't met, two families may have been doomed.
  4. I suspect after a few more chapters, you'll be suggesting something harsher.

    For sure
  6. Abel Taft was a pimply-faced, overweight, seventeen-year-old boy when he first met Kathy Nelson on a Friday afternoon. Kathy was no Hollywood starlet either. She was also a little overweight, with a fairly plain face, but still attractive in many ways. When she walked into the convenience store he was working at, he didn't really pay a lot of attention to her. That changed when she checked out with her Mountain Dew, Kit-Kat bars, and Raspberry Zingers. Not the smoothest talker, he opened wi
  7. All true, but there really weren't that many arguing points, plus I wanted to imply that he was railroaded.
  8. I gave this some more thought, and after hitting a wall on the next story I'm working on, decided to add a chapter covering the family's activities. So, @Philippe, you shall get your wish.
  9. In hindsight, yes, it wasn't the best career choice. But after college and med school, he was kind of locked in, until he got locked out, as it were.
  10. Yes, she has her issues.

As I said above, I felt there needed to be some link to the family, rather than a random child taken off the streets. More on this in a later chapter when we hear Abel and Kathy's story. That starts Friday.

Yeah, I didn’t want it to be just some random kid. He needed some connection to the family.

    Chapter 36 S2

I'll pay. No, I'll pay. But I insist. Shut up, I already paid. A lovely Christmas, even with the dick measuring 😁

I couldn't keep them traumatized forever.

They did well in the end. Not so much mom and dad, as the next few chapters will show.

Less of a chance, but more so starved for basic comradery. Exactly. There wasn't a lot of fun in that household. Not for the kids, anyway. The South Carolina house may have been smaller, the boys shared a room. Perhaps the electric bills weren't as bad, or his job in Georgia didn't pay as well. The scheming was subtle, but apparently there, since she snuck into the room they were sleeping in. I don't think he blamed himself, but he did need to get through it.

Yes, he and his siblings were survivors, but did more than just survive. They overcame, they flourished.
  19. Steven Nelson here. My life got fucked up early. I don't remember exactly when it started, probably around twelve, before we moved to Georgia anyway. Mom had locked Nick up in the bathroom again and she came into our room naked. Normally, it'd be cool to see a naked lady. Mom wasn't that skinny. Pretty flabby if I can be honest. She sat down on my bed and told me I was a special little boy. So far, aside from the nudity, almost normal. Then she reached for my penis and told me how big it was. Sh
  20. Pretty sure he's ignored from here on. A non-person.
  21. She definitely recovered nicely.
  22. True, but like most criminals, he brought it on himself.
  23. I felt it would feel "right" doing it this way. Glad you appreciate it.
  24. It is a sad testament to humanity that this does occur. Maybe someday, we'll be rid of it.
