  1. Thanks. I tried to keep the descriptions fairly light. A few are probably worse. One in particular (later chapter) I have a warning surrounding it. Hope it's as interesting as you hope.
  2. You are so right. Perhaps at some point in the future of humanity, these won’t be issues any longer. That point, I fear, is very far in the future if ever. Grandpa Brendan? Hmmm. Wasn’t planned for this ‘book,’ but I’m obviously not against continuing a story. This one makes 3, including nifty.
  3. King of Wilsondom.
  4. I will neither confirm nor deny This hypothesis. Possible, yes. Definite? … You hit the nail on the head with one of those three possibilities. Jill for President!! Well, maybe not.
  5. Nice observations.
  6. It’s possible, but so are a few other things.
  7. No hints on Kathy’s turn to the dark side. Maybe you’ll get a clue in chapter five.
  8. Unanimous so far. Badass Jill.
  9. Yep, things turned out well for her.
  10. I did give her a bit of an attitude, didn’t I?
  11. Hi, I'm Jill Taft. Don't call me Gillian, my asshole father used to call me that, so I don't answer to it anymore. My life has been fucked up on and off since I was eleven, all thanks to that mother fucker. Or maybe daughter fucker would be more appropriate. Anyway, you may have heard some of my story from my Uncle Brendan, but he didn't know the half of it. My psychiatrist thought it would be good to get it all off my chest by writing it down. We'll see if that makes me feel better. I'm not so
  12. Let’s just say you’re still going up the big hill.
  13. Thanks. As horrible as the fictional treatment was, it pales in comparison to the real story.
  14. Holy fuck. First let me say that c—t was not my inspiration. I never heard that story. Too bad NH doesn’t have the death penalty, although, that just may be her actual sentence, just not carried out by the state. If the first story wasn’t already completed, I might have decided to just cancel the rest. Like @drsawzall said, it’s almost like it was ripped right from the headlines. Poor Elijah.
  15. Apparently, I have an opposite opinion from Billy Joel, and it’s not necessarily only the good that die young. Appreciate the “great story” opinion though.
  16. Yes, damage done young is slow to heal, if ever. Another minor spoiler from chapter 4 this time. Steve was led to believe Nick ran away. He was proud of him for having the guts to do that. He did find out the truth, obviously.
  17. That's actually pretty funny. I'll quote a line from chapter 3 that won't be much of a surprise: "I should have kicked him in the nuts right then and there"
  18. Glad you enjoyed it. Jill's will be a little eye-opening, to be sure.
  19. Good. I hope you enjoy this ride.
  20. Glad you liked it. You'll hear from Jill, Steven, and a whole boatload of sh-- on Abel and Kathy before this story ends. Agreed on her personality. There will be more proof of her ducking hunt-ness starting in chapter 5.
  21. A man startled me awake. He asked my name, and he shared the dinner he came home with. I discovered he was Brendan. I also found out he was really nice. He wanted to send me back to my parents, but I wouldn’t tell him who they were. I did have to tell him a lot of what they did to me. He called child services, but they were closed. He let me take a bath and gave me an extra-large t-shirt to sleep in. I had to sleep on the couch though. He even washed my clothes. After breakfast Saturday mor

    Chapter 35 S2

I had one of them, Todd, but I was the only one that could see him.
  23. The $10,000 may be excessive, but I wanted it to be an amount Kevin would have difficulty paying.
  24. You're welcome.
