I hesitated, seeing vampires and werewolves in the sub-genres. Two topics I’m not usually interested in. But I figured you guys read my stories with varied topics, I’ll take a chance. I’ll be honest, the death tag pulled me in. I’ve never killed any of my characters, so I wanted to see how it was done. Hehe.
That being said, I did enjoy this. When I saw the GA names, I quietly hoped to see my name among the victims.
I used wow because there isn’t a confused emoji. Where is the creature? I was expecting the comedian to come out and say he was a were-something. Nope, basically political satire. Which in itself is ok, but I guess I missed the link to the anthology’s topic.
A true romance story. Shapeshifters are not usually high on my list of reading choices, but when it’s not the main thrust of the story, it’s more likable. This wouldn’t have been completely unreasonable for nomadic human tribes. But then it wouldn’t have fit the topic.
Whoa, over a million words in one book/ story? I’d have to stop reading anything else AND writing to try to tackle that. And reading the reviews, people have read it 3 or more times? Maybe if I ever retire…
