  1. Just, don't take any advice from your editor on this one! This is not the first time I write about @Lee Wilson's epic 'atomic bomb', when he killed all characters in last chapter! I'm honestly surprised that GA site itself didn't crash in front of me! 😜 Although, thinking about it now, I believe it was Lee's social experiment!
  2. I don't know, his 'hate for gays' looks to me like some sort of denial... Wouldn't be surprised he participated in rape - to satisfies both his hidden sexuality and sadistic nature! Ian likes to dominate but seems that Leonardo has bigger...assets! 😉
  3. I didn't understand well, did Ian rape him or Ian has engaged others to do that?
  4. The most difficult fight is the one we take against ourselves! Amazing chapter, glad you are feeling good enough to write @mastershakeme!
  5. This explains a lot. I suppose, the cure is hidden in glory hole?! 😁

    Date Night

Graham has never had a real family...but he's natural. He's amazing brother and uncle, like he was practicing whole life... Risking a big fight, he arranges a date for Vince and Peter, then, he speaks to Freddie, explaining the complexity of sexuality and relationships, relaxing situation...finally, he takes his nephew out of the house so Peter and Vince can enjoy 'naked' weekend!!! For Graham, brother and uncle - three times hooray!!!
  7. Why is everyone so relieved it's not Devin?! Good advice leads to good communication and culminates in very good sex! Oh, I like verse boys!!! 😉
  8. The boys have entered The Land of Toys (also known as the Pleasure Island to the fans of Disney) as Pinocchio did! The Pinocchio and his friends ended as donkeys, how is it going to end for our boys? What has the 'Coachman' (Giancarlo Mezenga) prepared for Luka and Devin? "We walk from here. It's tradition." says Mister D. Boys are, obviously not the first "guests" in the house and it is where training of power starts. You are not going to ride; you are going on your foot to your master! What does the master 'grow' and what kind of spedizione he is delivering? Giancarlo is a mystery. Powerful guy who is using sex to submit his subjects. Luka, intelligent as always, a few times ask the same question - why us? Why, indeed? Mezenga could find the most beautiful escorts wherever he wanted. So, why Luka and Devin. Well, doesn't seem they were chosen randomly! No, they were secretly followed and monitored for some time. Nobody is going to look for them...but there are thousands of such boys. I think it's their connection that has brought attention of Giancarlo. There is sort of commitment between them that he can easily use one to blackmail another boy. If we add Devin's recklessness and naivety, possibility to manipulate them is increasing. Of course, there is part of domination but, seems to me that sex is just a nice benefit, a tool to submit boys in doing "everything" Giancarlo asks. Add the money and the net is complete! Which bring us to the main question - what is Luka and Devin's real role and task?! The next question is - how they are going to escape a tight embrace of Mr. Mezenga?
  9. Devin continues with his silent treatment but, he is still around Tyler... Whatever the reason is, and no matter how immature teenagers are, communication is the only solution! Otherwise, days easily become weeks, weeks become months, months become...whatever, and people become estranged!

    Chapter 18

Interesting ... this is not a love story! @Ronyx has given us a hint of romance at the end of the chapter still, the story focuses on other issues as coming out, homophobia, bulling, abuse... In a way, author gives us utopian end (there is even hint that Lucas might walk again), with redemption, forgiveness and love for everyone. We are living in dark times, I believe @Ronyx has given us the medicine we all desperately need. Thank you!

    Aftermath

Gray might take care of Freddie but, what happens when Venetia appears at the door in the middle of the romantic dinner... just to ask 'something very important'?!
  12. WOW, daddy is here... No messing with this daddy!
  13. The phone conversation reminded me of an old rom-com... 'Pillow talk' with Rock Hudson and Doris Day!
  14. Oh no...Maggie is so intelligent, witty, sarcastic, just... too smart and classy for Venetia!
  15. So ... Billy likes Dylan but, Dylan might be liking Tylor. Tylor likes Brandon and Brandon likes Tylor but - it's complicated! Devin is 'asshat' - why, nobody knows!
  16. You just HAVE to read this new edition of Finding Home: Halos and Heroes, Bk 1 - Fiction - Gay Authors!!! This story gives completely new vision of the characters. Not limited by editors, @JJQuinn wrote very extensive and detailed chapters, with amazing monologues (mainly by Sam as it is from his POV), dialogues, flashbacks and some great smut! 😉 So, the Book 1 is a MUST READ! Nevertheless, let me give you my view of the cheating part. Sam and Max have a long history. Max came back to express his love to Sam - which is a too little too late! He starts with a kiss and Sam stops it at one moment. But kiss was very important - it shows to both of them where they stand, and that Sam has moved on! At the same time, in a little bit sad way, it is a farewell kiss! That moment in hotel room goes a little bit different than in first version. Still, in my private conversations with @JJQuinn I've always called it - Man on a suicide mission. That is how Sam felt at that moment. It is not cheating, it is regression, and I must admit, it's Max who is sober enough to stop it until it's too late! As for the 'consolation price'...I think the biggest fear of that has the Roman toward the Max. But they are coming around too...I'm eagerly waiting the next chapter! Anyway, start reading Book 1. I always thought of first version as good story, but this is a masterpiece!
  17. This would be the case if this story was some high-school drama. Sam is an army veteran, a war hero who suffers from serious condition of PTSD. It's not fair to call such a man coward. He severely hurt Ben, actually, he could have easily killed him during that attack! So, all that Sam think in that moment is how to protect Ben from himself. Sam running away from hospital is a move of a desperate man. It was certainly a mistake, but let's not forget that it is a consequence of not treated PTSD (add childhood drama, growing up in dysfunctional family with abusive father). Sam thought love is enough...well, it is not! Of course, Sam had to start a serous healing and counseling to be ready to stand in front of Ben, apologize and move forward. But Ben is the first being 'obsessed with Max's hurting'...and of course he is. Ben got his HEA -he got his man, even his estranged brother is at the wedding...he is not some poor victim here! Max is paying for his 'stupidity' but, when man at his lowest, why to push him more? Max is family, so, his wellbeing is in everyone's best interest, including Ben. Tara is a healer. She is a good friend to all but now, she is where she is most needed...and it is with Max. She is not choosing sides; she is connecting people. What I think of Tara at this moment of the story is that she has strong ability to help others with their issues but lack of ability to help herself. She knows Ben very well, she knows his medicine. 😉 And then this story could easily slip into unnecessary melodrama. There are so many dialogs in this story, so many long and profound conversations, sometimes even during sex that I'm not sure what kind of conversation is missing. Both Ben and Sam were hurting, with the help of family and friends they have found their way out. Finally, let's not forget, there was no cheating. Even temptation was Sam trying to escape, so, there is no need for some stronger punishment. Anyway, I agree one thing with you - complicated characters and complicated relationships! 🙂
  18. What amazing chapter!!! This party reminds me of Mystery dinner theatre... I've been waiting murder to happen! I just LOVE Gray's...and even Vincent's sarcasm! 😁

    Chapter 3:Chaos

Great, just escaped one hell to jump into another! Is there, at least, one "normal" mother in these stories? 🤪
  20. Boys will always find the way! 😉
  21. Try strip poker next time! As for the favorite titles, here are my choices: 1. Finding Home series; Halos and Heroes by @JJQuinn. I, generally, like JJ's titles, they are very poetic. 2. Almost all stories by @Ronyx but I'll highlight Brittle as a Bird. Many of his titles are symbolic and I like them very much. 3. @Mrsgnomie, I like her playing with the words. Tied up in Knotts is my favorite! 4. @CasualWanderer82 has great titles: Kingdom of Men, Wicked Games... One little remark. I was never drawn so much to the story by its title as by description given by author (and Reviews). I've missed some great stories because of some, not so good, descriptions. So, dear authors, take your time when you make a story description, it can be very (un)helpful to readers!

    Chapter 16

Interesting you say deliberately... I never thought of Owen as mean, just pussy...or wuss! Seems that Neil is much better man than I am as he is ready to forgive betrayal! Although, I can understand Neil's desperate need for 'normality'! If speaking to his 'friends' and playing 'amnesia' means going back to 'normality', Neil is ready to embrace it even without a proper apology. Of course, these boys are still young and there is still hope for some of them to build a character. It was one phone call in this chapter enough for Owen to feel at least a tiny piece of humiliation. As for the Lucas, he is mean but there is a reason for that (I don't say 'excuse') but, once the truth comes out, I would be ready to forgive him. I think Neil would be too!

The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

    Blood Runes

I think Amaris is the mother figure Kalian never had! Ok, maybe a bit unconventional mother, but Kalian is not an infant to be breastfeed and listen lullabies! Talon's jealousy is irrational, but he'll come around!
