The Hollow Hills has been one of the first stories I read at GA site. At the same time, it was one of the first stories I've been reading that deals with heavy topics as rape and mental issues. I was shocked and positively surprised that GA authors are not writing only about love, romance and sex. Of course I like all of that, crowned with HEA, but life is so much more - life is good and bad, happiness and sadness, ups and downs... In a story of Galen and Joshua, settled on a beautiful horse farm, @Valkyrie is telling us that life is not always road of roses, there are many thorns along the road too.

Eli and Isaac were inseparable brothers. Instead of being happy and supportive of such sibling's' bound, parents did everything possible to break this brotherhood, sending, eventually, Eli far from home. Many years later, Isaac is searching for his brother. Happiness of reunion is soon going to be overshadow by shock of knowledge what happened all those years ago in their family home! Another little masterpiece from @Valkyrie, another must-read short story!

@Valkyrie brings this amazing short story, giving us a different perspective on very serious matter of child abuse accusation! What if alleged child abuse is actually law abuse? What if crime investigation becomes a witch-hunt? How to live with stigma which cannot be erased even when evidence is clear and accused is, actually a victim? Finding himself at the bottom, abandoned by everyone, Patrick is going to learn who are real friends in need and how rare they are!

Not at all... I'm aware that every ecosystem has its own value, my opinion is just esthetical (superficial, I know)! 🙂

Speaking of English countryside, I have always imagined some beautiful meadows or some landscape as Lake District! I apologize to locals, but this doesn't impress me much!

I like the idea of making this monstrous house as some sort of cultural center for concerts, exhibitions, promotions etc. Graham's carrier might be transferring what was part of his not so bright childhood, into something that could be very bright legacy - The Philpott Towers Heritage!

In a way, I can see stinky rebellion as Brandon's way of confrontation with his parents. His way of keeping them on the distance. Brandon's smell symbolically exposes the rotten relationships in his family. It can be expected from highly intelligent artist as Brandon to show some excentric behavior, even if it is gross occasionally! 😜

Good that guys ended up in Tyler's bed for a change. I was afraid they will end up at dermatologist with some skin disease if they continue lying in Brandon's sheets!

Neil is childish with his overprotectiveness! I can understand that having mother going on dates, especially with his high school assistant principal, might be 'too much' for a teenage boy but I hope he'll get over it. After all he's been gone through, Neil should learn to be more accepting and not to endanger his relationship with his mother or her happiness with another man. Anyway, overprotectiveness might be headline of this chapter. Alex might take care of his brother, but it is not up to him to out Gerry or tell Gerry's story (even when with good intentions). Sammy has shown much more awareness of this delicate topics refusing to out Neil in front of Gerry! Now, @Ronyx left us waiting to see is Alex going to be fast enough to prevent Gerry and Sammy being hurt!

At first, I thought Rory should use some magic to anesthetize Ash's tongue! Then I thought he should punch Kieran in the head! Finally, I thought somebody should put some sense into the two brats! Unfortunately, it was monster who did that! Thanks to Cian, they came out bonded by friendship! First thing Rory and Kieran have to do if they became rulers - they have to repair the foundations of their kingdoms...they have to heal the family. Not just their own but every family in kingdom - to provide love and good support for every child. There's too many kids suffering from neglecting and abandoning...too many toxic families! Btw, I like little clues in the story. Sometimes I guess right, sometimes not...still, it is interesting to make interpretations. Now...Ash says his father was soldier at the border...hm, could Ash and Rory actually be half-brothers?! 🤔

I've had such a fun reading this chapter! “It is definitely not sugar,” Ryder said. “Your scent is offensive.” .... “Yeah, yes, I mean sorry,” Danny rambled, “he has a condition… a very sensitive nose… and you know, Kat, that your cologne can sometimes be too much--” 😂🤣😂😂

Rory might be pregnant, but Kieran is the one with the PMS (most of the time)!
