    When I awoke in the morning the sun was shining brightly on the khaki-coloured walls of the tent, bathing our canvas bedroom in an almost-eerie golden-green glow. I looked sideways and my eyes soon fell on the still sleeping form of Aaron, his mouth slightly open and his eyelids fluttering ever so slightly, no doubt a result of whatever adventure his mind was taking him on in dreamland.     It was while I was inside the guesthouse with Aaron a short time later that we heard a second vehicle arrive. It could be fun, bringing them back here to visit their 'uncles' around then. Jakey will be a handful, but that quiet one . . . they'll have to keep an eye on him for sure! As for Samantha, yes, I'm sure that she was well described in both Song For Guy and Thompsonville. She was blonde and tanned, with a carefree 'hippy' spirit, I think you will find . . .

    If the first visitors were going to be arriving this afternoon, Aaron and I decided we would need to really get moving once we arrived back at the house, and getting our own little space set up before someone else got in first. The spot I had suggested we pitch our tent was right near a bushy, young eucalyptus tree, about ten or twelve feet high, which I thought would give us a little shade at various times of the day. Aaron had mown all around it, so the spot seemed almost perfect to me.

    When I finally pulled out of the airport car park I pointed the truck back towards the centre of town, following the main drag along the edge of the bay. The waters were shining, reflecting the late morning sun, and with a slight swell rolling in gentle waves onto the stone breakwalls that had been built along the bay to protect the shoreline.     Harbourside Media had an impressive operation, which we soon realised as Guy gave us the Five Minute Special. Behind the new administration area at the front of the old warehouse there were several studios, offices, production suites, make-up rooms and even a canteen.     Thanks to the late night before, I didn’t wake as early the following morning as I had on the previous days, somehow sleeping through the sunrise and the usual early morning call of the nearby rooster, wherever it was that he lived.     The remainder of the afternoon slipped by almost unnoticed, as the three of us sat in the shade of the trees in the backyard, discussing our plans and sipping cold drinks.
