Great chapter @Mark Ponyboy Peters, a reminder of where we were a few years ago. Hopefully this hantavirus thing will not become a nightmare like Covid was.

The arrest of the killer does not close the book for Kent. It is unsettling for Kent, but he did control his impulse to take the pills. Kent seems to be holding it together at the moment, but he still is on the edge. We are missing the time between finding the murderer and Kent arriving in New Jersey. Hopefully the next chapter will give us more light on how Kent is dealing with the arrest. What happened that Marvin did not accompany Kent home?

I just read the first seven chapters, and I am hooked on the story now. The characters are great and the plot is interesting @Painawakened. I must say that so many of the comments made me wonder if I was reading the same story that they were. I actually reread one chapter to be certain I did not miss something the other comments mentioned.

I agree with you 100%. That SOB, Sam needs found and locked up in a prison cell with Bubba. I am sure after Bubba is through with Sam, he might commit "suicide". MOM, wake up! -

I agree about his mother. She will ditch James in a second if her 'sweet' Sam comes back. Sam will take her for all she has and then leave, expecting James to pick up the pieces. There is also the possibility of Sam harming James, Evan, or his mother. -
It is so refreshing to see Kent thinking rationally. It seems he has the money to do whatever he wants but money is not that important to him. He does want a career or a purpose in his life. Hopefully he will choose to stay in Bangkok and see how his relationship with Marvin develops. Great story so far @Tony S.. Anxious to see how things develop.

COVID was a tough time for relationships that were early in development. Unfortunately, Kevin and Toby are going to have a very rough time through the COVID period. Great chapter @Mark Ponyboy Peters. Excited to see the next chapter.

Such a great chapter. Kent truly speaking from his heart was refreshing and probably somewhat therapeutic. Things seem to be moving slowly forward for Kent and Marvin. Anxious to hear Devon's assessment after he hears about the date.
