I am enjoying how the story has been laid out and the direction it is going in. I have read the two stories by Tony just previous to this one and I am enjoying this one more. -

I agree that Kitt may become suicidal if his dad keeps up pressuring him and controlling him. If Kitt would confide in Matt about his dad, he would have an ally and a voice of reason. -

I nearly stopped reading after the second or third chapter. I am glad I kept reading because I am hooked on the story now.

Exactly what is the meaning of the snake in this chapter? Does it have anything to do with the noose on the card?

Accountant? Who is Hank actually? I am glad that Hank has been able to keep Jesse from running so far.

I honestly was not expecting the end, but I am not disappointed. I appreciate the 5 years later to see where things went. There does not seem to be any loose ends which is perfect. Your writing is so descriptive, and you can convey so much without dialogue. Your characters are so complex but also so likable. Thank you for sharing with us Nuno. I will be watching for your next story to begin!

Different is good as long as the quality of your writing remains as outstanding as it is. Too many authors tell the same story over and over with just enough changes to pass it off as new.

The "marathon" is still on. I feel like I know and understand Elias now. I wasn't an Elias fan initially, but I like and respect him now.

The courtroom portion of this chapter was so well written and the dialogue was excellent. I liked the way the "interview" was used in this and the last few chapters. It filled in information that would have taken pages otherwise. -
It is so great to see Jesse trust Hank and have faith in him. Cannot wait to see what Hank sets up at the farm. Is Miller really trustworthy?
