You set the scenes for this chapter with such beauty and care @Albert1434. They were so well described nothing was really left to the imagination. The lighting, the flowers, the music, even the positioning of Johnny, Sam, and Violet were scripted perfectly by you, @Albert1434. Great chapter!

After the chat with his mom, I think Owen is probably correct in the fact that coming out will not go well. Mom seems the type that appearances are everything. I hope Owen convinces Ryder to contact Colin. Colin seems to be Ryder's soft spot.

Good introduction to Henry, seems a like a good guy in need of a change. The climbing will be challenging and allow him to meet some new guys. Great beginning chapter. -
Great chapter @Mark Ponyboy Peters Seems Levi is loosening up some in regard to PDAs. Raised as he was, I am surprised he is changing his attitude as quickly as he is. School awaits and I hope Levi can adjust as quickly as he has to everything else in his new life.

Beth really sees Owen as a person, not a pressuring family member. She also seemed to see Ryder as important to Owen. I love those kids for all their quirks and diverse personalities. Ellie obviously understood Owen and Ryder with the gift to Ryder. Great chapter.

I am probably way off base, but I am seeing Ryder coming to the party. He will be conservatively dressed and park the bike way down the street. Owen's friends and relatives will love him, and Margot will lose her shit over it. If Ryder instead attends VBS, I see Ellie falling in love with him.

I just hope that karma takes care of Arthur, Sofia, and Aiden for everything they have done to both Julian and Robert. Arthur deserves to rot in hell for the way he treated Julian and manipulated Robert. Sofia can rot in prison unless the death penalty is admissible where they reside for killing Robert and trying to frame Julian. Aiden deserves to be destitute for the rest of his life for the way he treated Julian and stole Nathan away. -
The love and newly found devotion between Johnny and Sam came through so clearly and so tenderly. Beautifully written with such care and attention to details.

Beautiful and tender chapter @Wayne Gray. Had some tears here. Unfortunately, I agree CincyKris. I mentioned that possibility in an early chapter but hoped I was wrong.

I really like Ryder, but he came off almost as a bully at lunch. I hope it is a ploy to wake up Owen and make him think. Who is more influential with Owen, Ryder or Margot? We will know soon.

I am with you completely. Honestly, I think Tommy might have been better off without seeing Brian at all. He still has no real closure.

I think Owen will survive coming out with some persistence from Ryder. Owen will need to ignore Margot, or he will never accomplish it. We know Beth will support Owen and I also feel like Eric will also. His parents will eventually come around too. Ryder's story is much too common. Parents that abandon their gay child as if they never existed. Ryder has survived and will overcome the challenges and stigma of having been in prison.

Great story! Bailey and Jess are absolutely great characters. Hard to pick words to describe them, maybe lovable fits them best. I hope you revisit these two sometime in the future. -
This is going to get good, Margot vs Ryder. Bitch vs Badboy. My bet is on Margot to land the first punch but gets answered immediately by Ryder. Eric seems clueless at times, but I am starting to think part of that is an act. Maybe common sense is what he lacks instead.

Great chapter @vanalas. So much in this chapter to think about. Still no real answers to the murder. Great that both Nathan and Clara woke up to their emotionally abusive partners. For some reason, I think the doctor might be the man that Sophia shot. -
