Interesting but sad tale. Glad Jean was spared death but the confinement by the friars may not have been any better. Rowan was just a typical hypocritical clergy member, did whatever it takes to cover his own ass. -

I have to agree you gmc that it does feel like the calm before the storm. Hard to guess where Mark will take things, but it will definitely be interesting.

Beautiful chapter KKirk. Held back just enough to make it hot as Hell and not make it pornographic. Bet the crew sees the love between Brant and Sky and appreciate the scene for what it is.

I had some doubts about this story after the first chapter, but as always, you came through with a great read @Boy Mercury X. I did not like Joe at the end of chapter two, but he became human in this chapter. He is somewhat misunderstood but down deep a good guy. Great story @Boy Mercury X.
