  1. Guys, I think we're getting a little The whole idea is to wish Steve a very happy birthday.
  2. You're right about the changing trend. Still, there are a lot of youths that have some difficulties. I suspect that the heteros will always lose their virginity at an lower age on average. I could be wrong though.
  3. 30 is not old. Don't listen to them, Steve. You're still totally hot and young in my book.
  4. Thanks! I saw them and just had to have them. I have always had a fascination with big cats, especially tigers and particularly the white ones. Your avatar is nice. I have never actually seen Moulin Rouge, but I would like to see it at some point. I should order it on Netflix.
  5. Graeme, I'm definitely not surprised about that. First of all, there are still so many who are in denial. Others are just curious and want to try it just to see what it's like. I happen to think there is a higher percentage of virgins in the gay community than the hetero community. I don't know for sure though. I'm not sure if there has been any research on that particular subject.
  6. Congratulations Kurt!
  7. Wow! That was an action packed chapter. It seems that we're building up to the final showdown of this book of the series. Oh, the end was chilling. They're turning people in demons? I must also declare an evil cliffhanger!
  8. Recently I read about something. There is a disease called HOCD. It is someone with OCD who really does fear that he or she might be gay. Conversely the opposite can happen with someone who is gay who is worried that he or she might be straight. Also, the bisexuals can be afraid that they're on or the other. I'm not sure how common it is, but it certainly suggests true homophobia in the sense of a fear of being gay.
  9. That was a good story, Krista. I was so shocked at the end though. I should not have been, but I was. I thought it was going to be a happy ending. There is a certain irony to it though, and irony is a good thing in my book.
  10. Tiff, it's not so much that I'm harsh. I'm just thorough. Beyond that, it has little effect upon how I view the story as a whole. It was well-written, and that is the most important aspect.
  11. Coulrophobia, fear of clowns, is actually quite common. I think a lot of it has to do with movies (books and comic books) like It and Spawn. Then again, John Wayne Gacy was a clown, and he was scarier than all of those other clowns combined.
  12. That's a tough break, Beastie. I hope you get it fixed soon.
  13. Led Zeppelin "Kashmir" I think this is the best song ever by Led Zeppelin. It's certainly my favorite.
  14. He does have some excellent evil cliffhangery. However, he is willing to concede that you are indeed the King Emperor of Evil Cliffhangers! That is splendid news. I'm sure we can expect many more evil cliffhangers in this one.
  15. Dogma Star Wars or Battlestar Galactica?
  16. I agree with Kevin. C**k and p***y are not good words to use, and the same can be said for penis and vagina. Note: While I am gay, I am not above reading about straight sex so long as the man is the main focus. Figurative language is the best. It makes the flow more artistic, and it's certainly more appealing than vulgar or clinical words. I can't read much of anything on Nifty, because it's just too damn vulgar. It seems like many on there just write about meaningless casual sex. What happened to making love? There are some stories on GA that I love because of the author really brings you there and makes the scene come to life. It's something wonderful being shared by two people. In one case, there were three, but it was written in such away that it still had a similar charm.
  17. I agree Graeme. Also, Evan had been sexually abused and probably would not have been open to that for a while. Also, the probability of two best friends being gay (unless they're best friends who met because they're gay) is very low. There are stories where that happens, but the scenario is probably just as rare as the whole twin fantasy reaching fruition. Also, Tiff tends to be a realistic author.
  18. Happy birthday, James! You totally rock. I love your sense of humor and how you say exactly what's on your mind. It's great to have you here, and I hope you have the best birthday ever.
  19. That's an unusual phobia, Jamie. Actually, there was an irrational fears thread in Q & A a while back. I had a similar deja vu and had to check it out.
  20. Awesome! There is no other word to describe it. I was wondering if they were really dead or not. This one was about an all-too-common problem. You were correct in the fact that it often happens without the wife's knowledge. They are skilled manipulators. The pain is very real. I was hoping for a great read, and it was delivered.
  21. Well, I'm taking pills too, Wellbutrin to be exact.
  22. I think most of all we should thank the readers. If not for them, there would be no reason to have Anthologies. I would like to thank the authors who allowed me the privilege of being their beta reader as well. I love to help make fellow authors shine.
  23. Something like that...
