I finally saw The Dark Knight. It was an awesome movie! The theater is about 20 miles away, but it was well worth the trip. As strange as it sounds I went by myself. That's something I'd never done before, but I'm glad I went anyway. That was the best movie I'd seen in several years. It was certainly the best Batman movie ever. Everyone was right about Heath Ledger. He definitely deserves an Academy Award for his final performance. It was definitely an edge-of-your seat thriller, and I highly recommend it to anyone who has not seen it.
I came up with a short list of celebrities who I think died when they were way to young to die. I'm sure others can think of some more who's lives were ended way too soon.
John Lennon
Elvis
Marilyn Monroe
Heath Ledger
John F. Kennedy
Princess Diana
I think another part of it may be the fact that most people are not 100% gay or straight. I have admitted that, while I am hesitant, there is a morbid curiosity. I think that's all to common with straight men as well. However, to say that the little tinge of curiosity makes me bi and makes straight men bi is utter nonsense. As far as emotional intimacy with other humans, that is certainly a good thing. I happen to seek that with men and women alike. Hugs are wonderful. Why so many straight men deprive themselves of it is beyond me. It's nothing but machismo bull crap.
That was a great ending of the story. One thing that struck me as odd was the fact that the doctors wanted Worthington to use that devious spell upon the children. It seems like those on the Light side should be above making such suggestions. It looks like Worthington and Kyle are together now. That's wonderful news. I look forward to seeing their relationship grow in Rich Boy 3. That was a great chapter and a great story overall.
You were a martyr; CJ was being a very naughty goat. Besides, that was just adding a bit of humor to my story. It needed some in midst of all the darkness.
I'm with Kevin on this one. I have watched it once or twice, and quite frankly I wasn't impressed, but I haven't watched it enough to hate it quite as much as some others.
I chose Chinese. I know it's really Chinese American, but it is damn good stuff. I love crab rangoons, fried rice, sweet 'n sour chicken, honey chicken, and all the other yummy stuff. Italian and Mexican are next on the list.
Thanks, Kevin! She seemed okay this morning at least. She was able to go to work, though I suspect she is still sore. I certainly won't turn down thoughts and prayers.
I will make one exception and mention a character with some of my attributes. Julian certainly does. He has a temper just as I do. His temper is much worse than my own. Just how much worse? I won't say. If you want to find out, read Dark Earth: The Prophecy. I know. It's a shameless plug, but I don't want to ruin anything for those who have not had the opportunity...
There wasn't an evil cliffhanger in that chapter. Are their unresolved issues? Of course there are. That is part of plot development. Had it actually been an evil cliffhanger, it would be something emotional that leaves you thinking, "What the f**k?" Seriously, his evil cliffhangers are few but enormous with their impact.
