  1. Happy n-n-n-n-n-nineteenth birthday Jamie!!!! May it rain men on you this year
  2. Vance is okay just an extended bit of writers block.
  3. *throws virtual rice* Congratulations!!!!!!
  4. I hope your hiatus provides you the clarity & respite you are looking for
  5. Or worse, you might have to sit next to a stranger
  6. Congrats Kurt!!! First the Ink & now an iPhone People in my town had camped out overnight to get theirs
  7. You finally got it! Cool
  8. Happy Belated Birthday!!!! You're one of my favourite authors!
  9. And were I to call him 'ButterCup' or 'Pumpkin', no one would know who i was talking about .
  10. The speculation that Dom & Vance are one and the same (ala David & Oliver) are utterly false. Their writing styles are way too different. Also, Dom & Vance were prolific at around the same time, it wouldn't be possible for one person to put out that many stories. I do know that a few people have kept in contact with Vancey and know that he's alive. He's just hit a terrible case of writers block and doesn't want to return until he can provide something for his fans reading pleasure. Dom on the other hand, I have no clue
  11. I have to agree. When my siblings & I were growing up, most images of 'Beauty' were of white people (TV, magazines, toys, etc). Barbie was blond and pretty... Ken? Hot as hell (too bad he was lacking in the package department...you know you looked too ). My sister is married to a white guy, and looking back, I think all of us have only dated white. My parents are okay with it, but I think they'd be extremely happy if at least one of us brought home a Filipino boy for a change. Take Care®, Vic
  12. Awww, 'pre-Scientology/Oprah Ranting' Tom Cruise. He's so dreamy
  13. GA has some of my favourite authors, but I think Awesomedude ranks up there with the same level of quality. GA's forums are more active and I think non-regulars are more comfortable posting at GA. There are more nonsense posts at GA which is both a blessing and a curse. Awesomedude to me is easier to navigate and get to their stories. Awesomedude's Best of Nifty is also top notch. GA seems more welcoming to female authors and female fans. I like that the membership is made up of all different kinds of people. Oh, and GA hosts Domluka's forums
  14. My sympathies Emoe. I wish your strength as you deal with everything. Take Care, Vic

*ahem* That was me Please don't confuse having a good credit score with having lots of money. I was thinking in terms of being serious with someone...to the point where you were buying things together (house, cars, etc). I've been told by many people that money issues are one of the major issues/stresses that couples have to deal with. I just think a couple should be financially compatible and on the same page. A good credit score indicates that a person pays back their debts. My Mr. perfect takes his financial obligations seriously. Take Care, Vic
  16. Hmmm, I hadn't thought about that. I think I was looking at things from the perspective of - 'I don't understand why you're spending so much time on the internet.' 'Why are you laughing?' 'Why are you swearing up and down about this Aaron fellow?' Good thought though. Maybe I wouldn't want so share everything . Mr. Perfect just has to be accepting of this hobby of mine.
  17. - 35-45years old, brown hair, light skin, thin, nerdy/geeky looking. - Someone who smiles a lot, but can also do the pouty thing. - Financially independent and is good with money (i.e. someone with a decent credit score who doesn't welch on their debts). - Should like cycling, rollerblading, and hiking - Someone who likes to go out ocassionally and enjoys quiet dinners at home. An early bird who likes big breakfasts. - Someone who's clean but doesn't OCD over it. - And generally a good person. That's mine P.S. - They must either like reading online gay fiction or would tolerate it.
  18. Happy 17th Birthday Robbee!!!! You should come to GA Chat more often
  19. you mean "faaaaaaaaaaabulous!"
  20. Yes, but explain why. If they choose to ignore you, at least you've given them information to make an educated decision. Yes, Yes, Hmmmm, maybe Yes, No, warning him of this danger has nothing to do with your last encouner Yes Take Care, Vic
  21. Happy 22nd Birthday Milamber!!!!! Hope you have a great one
  22. I picked the following top 3 items - The regular stories The 'community' feel and aspect of the forums The discussion/informational/intellectual aspect of the forums GA has a stable full of good stories and authors and the ability to freely discuss them with like minded fans makes GA attractive to be a part of. GA has also branched out into discussions outside of the normal stories and such, and it's great to be able to have an outlet to discuss many of these issues. While we are all either gay, bi, and/or gay friendly (etc) it's interesting to see how many different opinions or points of view we have about particular topics. Take Care
  23. This is cute. It's a video of a guy dancing in front of landmarks and such in 42 different countries. http://www.vimeo.com/1211060 Oh, and in the past there have been various video's posted on GA and many of us thought 'oh, he's one of ours' by the way the person was dancing. Me thinks this guy is not on our team based off of his moves Here's some background info about Dancing Matt http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dancing_Matt
  24. Ahh, the water polo picture...It's my favourite too. Your arm is all stretched out reaching for the ball triumphently over your opponent, your abs are all tight . My avatar was a BoyNeedsTherapy pirate special. Back in the day, Ben made a bunch of them for several GA members trying to tailor them to our physical features and they were all the rage. Sadly, I think Nate & I are the only ones still using them.
  25. I loved Erasure back in the 80s!!! I started suspecting I was gay when I knew the words to too many of their songs (Chains of Love, O L'amour, Love to Hate You,) I used to live in a town called Naperville, in Illinois....so I used NaperVic and it's stayed with me even though I've moved to California.
