Kevin, ummm, advice huh? Don't do EVERYTHING you have been doing. You know what I felt like when I read your blog? I felt like I was reading a chapter of DD with Rory. Where his brain is telling him not to do something, yet his body does it anyhow. I mean, you recognize that in many situations you are leading people on. You really should try to think about what situation you are in and try to look at it from the other persons view. And you don't want to hurt anyone's feelings but if you aren't interested in someone, you can gently let them know, instead of giving them more hope. Or maybe you should just accept that you're a big tease . Anyhooooo, Take Care

Let's not forget that Milo comes from money and is probably skeptical about anyone who likes him (he might be worried that they like him for his money or will want to use him). I'm sure Milo has had to deal with this in the past...he's cute, he's rich. People probably want him for the wrong reasons. It's probably going to take several chapters to wear Milo down and for Nelson to prove that he really likes Milo for Milo, not for his TRUST fund. You have to wonder about Assface...is he friends with Milo or Milo's money?

Why do people join but not post? Speaking for myself, I was a bit intimidated when I first joined GA and probably lurked for several months before I posted anything. It seemed like such a tight knit and relatively serious group of people. And I felt like I was intruding and wasn't cerebral enough to join in. I was part of Dom's original Yahoo Group but when his Author Forum was created here, many of us came in mass. It was easy to be silly with the same group of people as before and we didn't really care what all the more serious kids were saying about us . So if you feel like saying something, Come to the forums and say so!!!!! I can understand that some people are here just for the stories and don't want to get involved. And that's ok. But for those of you who want to discuss any of the stories, just post . It's funny, people think the current posters are 'tight knit', but it really isn't true. Members come and go, some are really active for a couple months, may take a break, lurk, then come back. When new people post, many people (not only official welcomers), try to make them feel at home. Why's that? because they remember what it was like to put themselves out on the line for their first post. I troll mostly in the Domaholic's forum and the posters are a VARIED group of people. Topics range from pure nonsense, to Dom worshipping that any religion would die for, all the way to critical literary analysis of Dom's writing. All are welcome! Take Care®, Vic

Hey Nick! Don't be afraid to tell us how you really feel about that thread . I stop reading once I hit three words I don't know the definition of and have to hit the dictionary . It's the beauty of this forum. If you don't like a thread or where it's going, you don't have to read it. Some people don't like our predictions and our banter about who Rory will end up with (I can't believe it myself, but some people haven't even declared whether they're LRITE, SR**E, or LG***E ). Whoo Hooo!!! The 'I'm Nelson, I have a pen...' & 'I'm Nelson, I have a car....' is so frickin' cute!!!! Dom really needs to write a book on seduction 'How to seduce a gay boy in 20 easy steps'. Between the telephone number in the sand and now the 'I'm Nelson...' persistence, I'd be all over anyone who tried that with me . I really feel like Dom's personality is coming out in WT. I can't quite pinpoint why, but the Nelson character seems 'different' then the other protags. And I'm not talking about Nels being more agressive or being more the pursuer. It just feels like there's more heart into this story that the past ones. When I first started with TLW, I thought Owen must be like Dom, but then with TOU, I thought 'No, Dom must be like Quinn' or a combination of Owen & Quinn. But now it can't help but think that Dom is really like Nelson. :wacko: I hate to say it, and it's still early, but I starting to feel that WT is my new favorite (sorry Owen & Aiden). Take Care

[begin bitter LRITE fantasy theory] Because Seth's obligation to his bet with Aaron will be over and he really doesn't care if Rory leaves. Seth's managed to piss of Aaron and have a little summer fling to boot. Luke's behavio(u)r in this chapter shows who really loves and deserves Rory...and it's Luke. [End bitter LRITE fantasy theory] Wow, what a great chapter! The emotional rollercoaster of just arriving back from a FAMILY vacation, only to be thrown for another loop by a visit from Grandma Alice. I really liked how Luke & Eddie reacted to GA's news that Rory was leaving a week earlier. It seemed a much more realistic response to the unexpected change in plans. Someone else mentioned that now Rory has to break in and come out to ANOTHER family if he moves in with GA and her new hubby. How will the 19yo 'cousin' take Rory being gay. Or maybe that is Dom's plan...Rory starting a new life with his NEW NEW family... maybe another 34 chapters of DD!!!! WHOO HOOOO Vic

The BF and I sometimes jokingly refer to our household with our hyphenated last names when we answer the phone or invite people to parties - "Domaholic-Cruise residence, may I help you" or "You are cordially invited to the Domaholic-Cruise household for a night of food, fun, & friendship..." However, the name of our wireless network is a combination of the first part of his last name and the last part of my last name. "Cruaholic" So we have all kinds of fun combining our names. We would never get mistaken for brothers since we are both racially different. I guess the question is more for the children, that is, if we have (adopt) children. What last name will they take or will they hyphenate??

Glad you cleared up that your post was a 'joke' because it wasn't obvious to many of us either. I'm also glad that you decided to take Ann's advice. As she is someone very close to Dom, she is VERY aware as to how such feedback makes Dom feel. I was confused about this section for DOR 31. It was a conversation between a Russian KGB agent and Davey... I'm not sure which way to understand this...Does the KGB NOT want the machine to work BEFORE Alexei Shevardnadze gets to it or does the KGB want to let Shevardnadze use it and then disable it????
