  1. I'd rather see him without them on.
  2. One minute you've turned B1ue into a seamstress, the next you're talking football. Kudos to your diversity!

    Chapter 31

July 19, 2002 Bel Air, CA Brad These parties were a lot different than they used to be. In the past, they’d been all but a prelude to an orgy, but now they were much classier. I might have attributed the change to the hostess, but Jackie certainly hadn’t made a revolutionary transformation into a genteel woman. I tended to attribute it to the changing attitudes toward sex and sexuality; being gay wasn’t something that had to be as hidden as it used to be, or at leas
  4. Hang in there Jim. Chapter 12 is locked and loaded for Friday, and then you'll have your answer.
  5. Learn to sew? You make it sound so easy.
  6. I think that would horrify Granger's mother more than George.
  7. Change is usually exciting and traumatic. I have to believe, having interacted with you for some time now, that you will manage that change remarkably well. Your new employers are very lucky.

    Chapter 30

I wondered where you'd gone to! I hope you had a nice vacation. You really nailed Zach's situation when you compared him to a wishbone. I can see where he would be that way, though. He's moved into a completely new world, and he's left his old world largely behind. To him, it must seem so irrelevant now. And now that he's linked to Will, the support he used to get from his mother must seem much less relevant. Still, those parental ties can bind, so when the pull, it has an impact. It's unfortunate for Barry that he hasn't figured out the real dynamic there.

    Chapter 30

And thank you, Miles, for you kind words. I thought it would be fun, since the CAP crew was heading to London, to bring in our Bridgemont crew...or at least some of them.

    Chapter 30

Thanks Gary! I think that what is really the most promising thing about Brad is that he's very self-aware. He knows what he needs to focus on (work and, to a lesser degree, family), he knows that he can't handle a committed relationship yet, and he is frustrated with the new dating scene he has to navigate. As for Matt and Wade, I think you'll get a clearer picture in a couple of chapters.
  11. A young Jamie Bamber, who was my vision for George Granger. But with blonder hair
  12. I'm thinking skinnier cheeks and blonder hair

    Chapter 30

Thank you! I haven't decided how, or if Max relates to the Bridgemont Grangers.

    Chapter 30

Thanks Kevin! I actually had an entirely different storyline planned for London, but this one worked out so much better.

    Chapter 30

Thanks Maarten! You probably won't see any spoilers for the Bridgemont series in CAP, unless I screw up. That's why I used the senior branch (Freddie and Davina, etc.) and not one of the junior branches (George or Bertie). Will wasn't really baiting JP at dinner, he was, with the others, just giving him a bad time in a friendly way. It's all good.

    Chapter 30

Thanks so much! There's a limited amount of integration I can do, though, without revealing Granger's future...which I don't really know yet. :-)

    Chapter 30

Well, Brad really doesn't have to choose, not unless he wants to have a committed relationship, and he's definitely not ready for that.

    Chapter 30

Thank you for the review! I'm glad you liked it, and liked that a future Granger made it to the story.

    Chapter 30

Bringing Kevin back lets me dig into his situation with Cody in more detail, and he could potentially be a good love (or fuck) interest for Brad.

    Chapter 30

I never really contemplated the Schluter/Crampton long-lost relative blood tie link in. As old, exalted families, their lineage is pretty well documented. This seemed to work.

    Chapter 30

I'm so glad you enjoyed this. I thought it would be fun to bring in some of the future Grangers into our current CAP story.

    Chapter 30

Thanks. You're right about the rollercoaster. A couple more chapters, you get to the first hill. (SMILE).

    Chapter 30

You make a really good point about Will, but I would submit that Wade and Matt are in a relationship, even if they won't admit it. :-)

    Chapter 30

Thanks! It is really fun to write dialog with these guys, because they all come from a different perspective. JP is so stuffy and eloquent, while his younger relatives are pretty irrepressible. What's neat is that they all enjoy each other.

    Chapter 30

You are a riot! I thought it would be a fun little twist.
