    Chapter 10

I wonder if Calvert won't be better at hiding his feelings with George? If you think about it, Granger is the one who keeps him on an even keel as far as that goes, so this may end up being a good thing.

    Chapter 10

    I agree!
  3. Mark Arbour

    Chapter 10

I think Winkler is so devoted to Granger he won't make that comparison between Granger's happiness and his own misery. But I'll try to find someone to keep him satisfied. ;-)
  4. Those are pretty persuasive arguments.

    Chapter 10

May 15, 1797 The past few days had been maddening, to say the least. Granger had been anxious to return to London, but instead, he’d ended up stuck here in Portsmouth, serving as something of an aide to Lord Howe. Granger liked and respected the old admiral, so working with him wasn’t a chore, but he was anxious to attend to his own responsibilities, especially to getting Bacchante ready for sea. Those concerns didn’t seem to weigh heavily on the minds of the Prime M

    Chapter 9

I am enjoying myself, and decompressing, which is really nice. Thanks!
  7. Mark Arbour

    Chapter 9

I think your estimate on chapters may turn out to be pretty close. We'll have to see.
  8. Mark Arbour

    Chapter 9

You are most welcome. I think I'll be able to get back into my weekly posting schedule, at least for a while.
  9. Mark Arbour

    Chapter 8

It's funny that you mention this, because I kind of feel the same way, even though I've got some more issues to deal with before I send George off on his journey.
  10. Mark Arbour

    Chapter 8

After all the crap he had to deal with when he got home, I'd say it's about time.
  11. Mark Arbour

    Chapter 8

The moral of the story is that a big dick can solve a lot of problems. :-)
  12. Mark Arbour

    Chapter 46

Thanks! I'm enjoying my air-conditioned vacation! I don't think that anyone will give Will too much shit about booking those flights. I think that they would probably view it as not worth worrying about, IMHO.
  13. Mark Arbour

    Chapter 46

    Perhaps. ;-)

    Chapter 9

May 9, 1797 “His Lordship will see you now, my lord,” the secretary said politely, as he led Granger down the corridor to Spencer’s office. Granger matched the man’s pace, and focused his energy on maintaining his outward appearance, which was most definitely at odds with his internal rumblings. His stomach was churning with both anxiety over this latest meeting with Spencer, and over the damage he’d done to it with his excessive drinking last night. There had been a

    Chapter 46

I don't recall long hair being fashionable at all in 2000. Besides, I think there's a difference between long, boring, Bohemian hair and long, amazingly styled hair.

    Chapter 46

Bridgemont is in the works. I've got a couple of chapters written, and they're in editing.
  17. Mark Arbour

    Chapter 46

    Good! You got it perfectly!
  18. Mark Arbour

    Chapter 46

Smart people learning from mistakes....couldn't agree with you more. I think it's important for Will to have someone like Gary.
  19. Mark Arbour

    Chapter 46

Well, it wasn't all that evil, so it shouldn't be too bad. Then again, you never know. My guess is that it wakes Jeff up, but Michael is more vindictive.
  20. Mark Arbour

    Chapter 46

Thanks. I've been writing a bit in my spare time, so I'm going to try to get back on some sort of a schedule. We'll see.
  21. Mark Arbour

    Chapter 46

Thanks! Sometimes petty revenge like that can be fun.
  22. Mark Arbour

    Chapter 46

    Me too.
  23. Mark Arbour

    Chapter 46

Yeah. Where the hell is Pat?
  24. His hair is too styled. Gary Anderson would have more of a straight, Bohemian look. Or maybe Hot Jeff.
  25. While it's certainly not an erotic image, it is a somewhat humorous one.
