I got back to the condo and headed straight to my room. It was really cool, because it had a big window that opened up at street level, so if I wanted to sneak out with no one seeing me that was an option. I noticed that Jeff had brought all of my stuff over and unpacked it for me, even to the point of organizing my toiletries. I went out to the kitchen and Jeff was there, snacking on some Doritos.
“Dude, thanks for moving all my stuff o
I really enjoyed reading this interview. Andy's an awesome writer, so what a treat it was for him to let us inside his mind (the relatively clean part) and see how he thinks. These sentences fascinated me:
I contrasted that to how I usually visualize a story, and for me, I usually see an interaction, a dialog of sorts between two characters. It's great to see how other authors get their inspirations!
Here's a chance for you guys to decide the direction of this storyline. Take a second and vote to tell me whether Senator Danfield should be re-elected (vote "yes") or not (vote "no"). This one ends real fast, so vote now!
Note: This is NOT a public poll, so no one can see your vote.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! JP's not supposed to be really likable in this story, because he's a very stunted person (emotionally). He gets better as the stories unfold.
I think you have a 'kid in a candy store' thing going on here. Only it's a hormonal gay kid, surrounded by a bunch of guys who are really fit and a lot of whom are also gay.

The carriage containing the four men pulled up to the dock and Dr. Jackson looked out at Bacchante, and then looked at Granger with fear in his eyes. “My lord, won’t they come looking for me here?”
“It matters not whether they look for you here or not, you will not be released into their custody,” Granger asserted.
Granger sensed that Jackson didn’t quite believe him, but he also didn’t want to seem ungrateful by challenging Gra
I think that the attributes you're looking for (the willingness of young men to foresake meaningless sex in exchange for meaningful sex) comes with maturity, influenced by the relative force of hormones. Even then, I think it's a matter of relative choices. Does the guy prefer mediocre sex to no sex?
I'm willing to hypothesize that the majority of guys go through a slut phase, where they make the decision that any sex is good.
I think you meant to say 'not' have sex with everyone. Because he is having sex with everyone because he can.
Actually, I think Will told Jeff (and us) where he was at. He spent all summer chasing after love, and now he's in a mode to figure out the mechanics. He just wants to get laid.
