  1. The memory of life and love is beautiful, it is something I admire deeply.

    Chapter 1

Hehe! I see shades of the Marvel Civil War plot line in your story, I think you have great universe starting. Mutants have always been the hunted minority of fiction, it is a great plot device.

    Chapter 1

Love breaking the fourth wall! It's a surreal take on story writing that I can relate with. It's a story told about a story for a story!

    Restless

Great Cassie, keep it coming. I love werewolves and Zeke seems like such an interesting one.

    Chapter 1

KC, I really felt for Alex and the problems he was facing. Being betrayed by a lover is not something anyone would want, but at least he got perspective from it. He might not be a multi-millionaire anymore, but he found true love, which no amount of wealth could ever buy. Thanks for writing it.
  6. Did anyone take a notice at what stories seem to have the most length? I know, I know, it doesn't matter how big the word count is, but how you write your story I just noticed this by accident, but Bill W., Altimex, and W.L (me), were the three longest in word count. Also, all three of us wrote science fiction stories, using different ideas and different points of view. Just an observation
  7. It's a wonderful story filled with interesting ideas and a lot good scientific detail. I love how you explained quantum tunneling and the descriptions work very well. I won't lie though, I do hold that there are 4 dimensions of spacetime as one, but that's a physics debate that is ongoing between people who argue on Planck/Standard model versus M-theory/String theory models. Though at the moment, the super collider experiments seem to agree with 4 dimensions versus extra-dimension model, it is not certain yet.

    From the Ashes

It's a wonderful science fiction story, I am betting that you had read Homeward Bound at one point as I had It also carries a lot of scientific interest that I also have worked on, I am wondering why you did not make use of quantum entanglement though to describe instant communication at the perceptive FTL speed or the factor of relativity and expansion state of the universe creating potential loop holes if you remove time as a an active dimension in itself, though personally, I am an adherent to Four Dimensions of spacetime as one unified unit. I love the way you described quantum tunneling and the chain idea is perfect. If you ever feel like collaborating with another writer on a joint Science fiction story, hit me up. I love your style, plus I have covered some of the same ground as you in my stories, though I am much more a Babylon 5 and Battlestar Galactica guy than Star Wars, but in terms of social commentary, I will still admit to a underlying love of Star Trek.
  9. Some of the biggest questions in life are not things we can answer completely, until we actually die. Why am I here? Where am I going? How did I get here? Using the story's idea, you can be dead for all purposes, but have answered the question of life. It opens a deeper well of meaning for life and death, how our hopes and doubt lead toward certain things. __________ I also want to point out that I did not make Jaysen's Father or Mother evil homophobes outright, his mother especially. His father was apathetic and in denial, but he was not an outright hatemonger. I thought that would be a nice move to have a balanced issue about parental thinking and lovers' thinking in terms of social commentary. Neutrality makes this story more human and much more scary for certain readers, because you can see how both points could be thought. Some GA readers and authors have kids, would you protect your child at all costs even if it means keeping them alive despite their partners wishes? For GA readers and authors who have partners, would you allow your lover to be spared of a long death?
  10. Thanks, What questions do you think they were? if you mind me asking, I love reader feedback.
  11. Loved it and wanted to ask a question: Have you dated a person with disabilities before?

    Story

Cia, I loved it and I think you nailed down some good thoughts. I've known a lot of wheel chair bound kids and it is not easy to live in world based around limitations. One of the first things that people with disabilities try to confront is their limitations. For me, I might not have sight in my left eye, and it does effect how things work with me.
  13. Glad to here you love the story, even if it is a bit dark.
  14. People write in terms of perspective in GA. Memory Fragment writing though with philosophical underpinnings is rarer. It's just a case of style really, because I know a lot of writers love using perspectives. It's scary enough to be grounded in reality, but it makes your heart grow colder as you read. Thanks for the review
  15. If I remember correctly, this was the same guy depicted in Braveheart Really beautiful sonnet and wonderfully written

    Drunk Enough

C'est tres bien! I needed a firm dose of comedy and that hits the sweet spot. Lugh, the story was original, the characters funny, and the plot exciting. Chord and Gaston are the funniest gay couple I have read about and cared about.
  17. Awesome Bill, I love how you melded and worked out an outbreak with such fine detail. Also, it is such a great irony that gays and lesbians were immune, but Phelps and his Westboro group still said no to treatment. Lol! I love the happy ending

    Chapter 1

hmm...an amoral British smuggler and a lot of unanswered questions. Good plot point As Doyle would say "the games afoot", keep on writing!

    Ashton's Place

Great Dark fairy tale, reminded me of the sixth sense meets "The Others". It is dark, but death is merely the beginning of another journey, I hope

    Chapter 1

Great story, I feel for Mickey a lot, because I can understand what he feels and fears. Sometimes, when you are hurt or afraid after a bad relationship, you just can't move on for a long time. Glad that they got a happy ending and Andrea should grow up to be a gay couple's counselor
  21. Well, Call me the Dark Gay Knight I am getting maybe my new style is giving everyone goosebumps, but I hope it opens your minds, which I think is the main thing about the story. It's a tale of darkness, filled with humanity, and left to contemplation. It is that kind of despair that leaves a lasting image for the future as something to avoid. I hope people after reading this story think more about their lives and their death.

    Chapter 1

This story is very natural and stylistically beautiful. The subject is something very modern, alienation, but it is told with such depth and ornate designs that it impresses a feeling of life even in the darkness. I wonder if Billy Bayou and Davy hold more than merely a friendship, I wonder how complicated the story truly is beyond what is said and written, and I wonder where things will go after Linda's death. I agree with Nephy, your poet side is show very well in this story. It feels like your channeling Hawthorne or someone from the early 19th century.

    Chapter 1

It is really interesting to read, Fantasy stories have a rich array of characters. I love your story, because I can see this in how each character represents their side or perspective. Harlin is noble, but naive. Stephen is loving, but inexperienced. Fenzu is caring, but insensitive. Seriously, keeping developing this universe and try to get the characters toward a deeper connection. I want to know more about these twins, who are they? Is Stephen the chosen heir to the throne or is he destined to be a warrior prince? Are there other kingdoms? Is Fenzu part of a Fantasy based Secret service or is what he does more like the ninjas of Japan, protection at price for anyone without fealty? Please keep it coming
  24. Bill, you're the master of emotions. I am merely a puppy at the moment Your praise is great and I really appreciate it.
