Chapter 7: “Know who you’re dealing with”
W_L commented on W_L's story chapter in Chapter 7: “Know who you’re dealing with”
Thx guys, I do enjoy playing with the concept. Like I said, isekai inspired me, so I wanted to make relationships with complex roles, Eli is not your typical dom/dominatrix, -
After the ambush in Benington, our group of six journeyed for five days on foot, traveling at night and making camp in the day in secluded caves and underbrush. We had gathered several daggers, swords, and axes from Thomas Denny’s men, which helped throughout our journey. Peter gathered wood, Pippen gathered grass and reeds for bedding, and Prudence gathered berries and nuts. Puck inspected their treasures for poisonous vegetation. Francis went hunting for rabbits and birds. That left me wi

Chapter 7 Well, the explosive sex scene at the end of the chapter hopefully will be enjoyable for some folks, who have written to me about the need to explore Eli's innate Dom qualities. 😛 Those books I referenced are actually not bad reference material, slightly dated, but not bad introduction. The story of Siproites is an actual incomplete Greek myth about a boy being turned into a girl. The later storytellers and interpreters during the Roman era considered it a punishment to lose one's manliness and that interpretation has stuck. However, in the mindset of this story, I had a different thought about the concept of the missing Greek myth. What if Siproites weren't punished for liking the female body and in fact wanted to join the female-only hunters of Artemis? Wouldn't that change the entire concept of the sex change story from punishment to one of transgender acceptance? Not sure if it can ever be proven one way or another, but in my universe, the original story was meant to give kids an option to choose their gender identity. As for introducing a Dom/sub dynamic, Francis is a guy who has devoted his life to "the last shall be the first" prophecy that involves Eli. To him Eli is literally the goal of all his motivations and desires. Plus to add insult to injury, he received glimpses of historical Sir Francis Walsingham, who was devoted (and possibly depending on the source) in love with Elizabeth. The most important thing for a natural sub is "devotion to serve", which Francis has in spades. If the BDSM crew think I am off the mark, feel free to comment. This week's law of power is 19th Law of Power "Know who you are dealing with". This is simple, Eli and the other characters are getting to know each other, especially Francis. Relationship dynamics can be affected by knowledge. ------------ Notes: 1. The myth of Siproites was referenced by the Roman Antoninus Liberalis in a collection of incomplete Greek myths used for educational lessons in the 1st century AD. Many people use his incomplete version of the story as justification that a sex change from boy to girl. 2. Joyce Denny is the mother of Francis Walsingham, she lived from 1507 to 1560. She was married twice first to William Walsingham until 1534 when he died. Then married again to John Cary, until 1551 when he died. She had 7 children combined and many grandchildren in our history.

5. Teaching Lessons in Control

Reality is filled with madness, who is to say there's not another avatar in the multiverse like Jules, who was driven mad and continues to play with his toys to this day -

The old saying never put down your weapon in the middle of a fight is quite astute, but Jules fell into the Horny teen horror trope, thinking with your dick while under the influence of an ancient artifact is dangerous -

I drew my inspiration from Lovecraft's line: "In the face of cosmic horrors, the line between sanity and madness becomes blurred, and sometimes, it's the mad who truly understand the incomprehensible." The idea that effect can precede cause, the coming madness is correlated with the instability brought by power, and confronted with ceaseless chaos, you have to just accept the madness to be content.

Thanks, I am not sure if many people enjoy the horror as much

My laughter continued, as I lay down on the floor, looking up at the ceiling. Kevin, Allen, and Brian stood outside the ritual circle, staring at me, while the ancient one floated nearby. I felt a power emanating from within me, and it was not evil, not good, or neutral. It was simply a power beyond all mortal comprehension, a power that was the essence of existence itself. The Ancient One entered Kevin's body and merged with him. "Excellent, I can feel power and understanding like not

5. Teaching Lessons in Control
W_L commented on W_L's story chapter in 5. Teaching Lessons in Control
Agreed, it's why I added so many warnings to this chapter as a writer I don't like writing Horror for this reason. It's incredibly difficult to write. Evil in its most sadistic and uncompromising form is devoid of empathy, love, and hope. It can drive people to the point of insanity and beyond. I took apart the worst aspects of a sadistic villain and broke them into 3 redeemable characters and had 1 character with all the aspects who was beyond redemption under any circumstance. Be glad this isn't a horror novel, I chose to do this as a small mini-series novelette to minimize the scenes to this one chapter. The last chapter will settle all accounts and there's a Happy Ending -
After Kevin and the entity had come down the stairs, I stood up naked and walked toward the two, feeling no shame or embarrassment for what had transpired. My body was still hot from the intense fucking that had just happened and my cum still leaked from my dick. I knew that I wasn't moving on my own accord, but Kevin had subconsciously commanded me to do this through the use of the Avatar Box. Despite the knowledge that he had acquired powers, an inner voice in me kept telling me that it was le

4. Teaching Lessons in Pain and Pleasure

If you read in-between the lines, Kevin was the one who summoned the entity and set everything in motion. I sort of hinted at his evil nature during the first part, when he set up such an elaborate prank on Jules with Brian and Allen. However, his plan wasn't merely to set up a prank, it was to lead Jules down the path that he did. Evil villains in horror are extremely elaborate and manipulative. Jules' conscious thoughts were being overwhelmed by the various powers and time limits of the Avatar Box. He thought he knew the horror rules and could outplay the game of a horror movie. However, he was merely a pawn. -
Allen tried to be intimidating standing in front of us in a vampire costume with a metal crowbar that was probably used to gain access to the asylum. However, I knew he was no threat to Mark or Brian, and not me with the new powers I had just gained after unlocking two more sides of the cube. I now had mastery over Fear, Desire, Pain, and Pleasure. The entity and his Avatar Box must be huge fans of Clive Barker, but I wasn't interested in dominating Allen or hurting him per se. I walked in

A little puppy play isn't bad as long as the other guy consents 🐕

As we walked back into the Asylum, I played with the Avatar Box again and unlocked another side of the cube. I opened the second power, which I knew innately was the power to mold desire. Fear is the power to manipulate people to reach your goals, desire is the power to mold people to reach your dreams for them. I liked the way that the show Lucifer summarized the extremes with Tom Ellis playing both the misunderstood pansexual devil Lucifer with power over desire and his twin brother the conniv

Chapter 6: “Make other people come to you”
W_L commented on W_L's story chapter in Chapter 6: “Make other people come to you”
Glad it does, I took a bit of history and some fun fantasy elements to create something different. Good to know, I am glad that I am getting some readers You are my biggest fan Chris -
We walked throughout the night deeper into the woods. I didn’t know where I was going, but Francis did. After six hours of continuous walking, we reached a small English village just as the sun rose. Francis escorted me to a simple thatch roof cottage, where he knocked three times, then once. There was no response from the door. He then whispered, the familiar words, “The last shall be first.” The door opened and a blond-haired teenage boy with mischievous oval green eyes motioned

Chapter 6 This chapter explains a lot in terms of magic within this world but doesn't explain the reason behind it. It also expands upon Eli's abilities even further, he is not merely skilled at language and memory, but he actually has hidden knowledge based on interaction as well. Like Wikipedia, if you do not search for a subject, then you can't easily access that data. However, humans are not supposed to operate like that (Spoiler Alert or False Herring ) As for introducing Puck, you guys know I love Midsummer's Night Dream, I interpret it as a triumph of sexual freedom and a good throple comedy, even if the two males didn't get lustful with one another (I can imagine bisexual Shakespeare directing the boys acting in the girl's parts, which makes up for the lack of sexual novelty in the modern retelling). My puck is a mischievous, but benign character with a hand at using toxins to great effect. As a working partner for Francis Walsingham, it made sense to have a poison expert. In terms of history lessons, nitric acid known as Aqua Fortis in medieval Europe can be generated via saltpeter and sulfuric acid. Saltpeter can be made by the composting method of limestone, urine, and feces creating crystals. Sulfuric acid can be created by heating iron and using liquid run-off. Nitration of plant oils in combination with gunpowder can generate an explosive compound, it won't be to the power of dynamite or plastic explosives, but it is still potent. Not going into detail as I do not want to be FBI watch-listed or banned for teaching you guys how to make explosives As for the law of power, 8th law of power according to Robert Greene "Make other people come to you", it's actually something that can be applied to Sun Tzu's art of War, "choosing favorable ground". The idea is simple, you want your opponent to come at you without proper information on your terms. Even if they are numerically superior, if you can find a choke point, a few people can take out forces many times larger. Some people will wonder, how can a 17-year-old American teen be able to plan that kind of military strategy, even if he has knowledge, he wouldn't know how to apply it like that. Welcome to the world of Japanese Manga, Otaku's (fans of Anime and Manga) are students of not only these stories, we also know the Japanese history behind them. During the Sengoku Jidai, which (coincidentally or not) happened around this period as well, a famous night time raid happened, where Oda Nobunaga with an army of 2,000 faced an invading force of 25,000 men used his opponents superior numbers and self-assured sense of victory against him by launching an all-out attack that killed the enemy commander. Even when you are weaker, you choose the grounds that you are fighting and have better strategic weapons at your disposal, then you will weapon. Also, most noble military units of the Medieval period were made up of impressed young men within their territory. Thus, you would see a lot of innocent teenage boys sometimes as young as 12 going to fight without understanding what they are fighting for or dying for. If you were in Eli's shoes and you had to kill little kids in order to make your point, I don't think you want to talk about it. Writers and playwrights can make it fun and games, but killing people isn't. ----------------- Note: 1. Nitric Acid or Aqua Fortis was discovered in the medieval times by alchemists as experiments with sulfuric acid and saltpeter. Saltpeter was a main ingredient of gunpowder as well. 2. A Midsummer's Night Dream will be produced in 1595 during Elizabeth I's lifetime. 3. Hemlock as the poison that Eli identified is well known as the poison of choice for intellectuals, since Socrates had committed suicide with hemlock. I wanted to draw a historical connection between Hemlock and Eli's abilities.

Mark didn't make it out of the asylum's grounds. I found him lying on the grass near the side entrance, where everyone came in. He might have left the party thinking I had gone, but he was intoxicated and couldn't have walked that far. If I were not being guided by the entity, I'd probably be in a deep slumber as well. However, with the first side of the avatar box unlocked, my mind was clear and uninhibited right now. I had the power to instill fear in Mark. I can get rid of his phobia of being
