    Chapter 1

September 10th 1990 (Elliot Taylor) And so it begins, whatever this is. I’ve just been living my life, keeping a low profile and hiding the fact that nothing seems right. I want to tell everyone what I remembered before the world changed, but the idea of men in white lab coats dragging me away or being locked in a government vault somewhere haunts my dreams. While I want to believe everything that happened eight years ago was real, including the promise he made to come back for me, I’v
  2. Human salamanders must be neutered early
  3. Cat boys exist in the omegaverse (PS: There's an amateur Author named Eileen Glass, who wrote the Pykh series with alien cat boys and a human omega. Sadly she abandoned the series) Anyway, here's another one: Sandworms are spicier without human water
  4. Cat boys like rough dog boys
  5. It does make sense and I am glad Governor Healey updated the almost quarter-century-old guidelines. As for promiscuity, personally, I have had about 11 lovers in my life. Looking back, I don't define myself as being particularly judgy, but a quickie in the bathroom or a quick romp in a car doesn't do it for me. Again, it's a matter of your personal sexuality, not merely sexual orientation. Took me a long time to understand the difference, some people are inherently sexual and some find sexuality lower on their emotional needs. Having realized I am demi as well as being gay sort of made me understand a few things about the false concepts that permeate the ideas of sexuality. There is attraction and there are emotional needs that affect what sex and interpersonal relationship entails. The old stereotype of gay and bi men being promiscuous and open to advances was how the world saw a version of us when sexual needs were repressed and encounters were fleeting. However, beyond the encounter phase, we're still human and have needs beyond pleasure and orgasms. Some people never want or never can get beyond the encounter stage of a relationship due to various issues. I am probably on the other side of the spectrum of promiscuity, but I hope my views and experiences can help.

    Prologue

Flight of the Navigator I love that movie as a kid, not to mention Paul Reuben, aka Pee Wee Herman, was the voice of Max, the AI. Interesting that the computerized voice of the ship morphed into Paul Reuben's voice after copying David's memories. When it comes to the queer connections, I think there are fewer degrees than Kevin Bacon.

    Prologue

Elliot Taylor: My life changed when I was ten years old, but no one remembers what happened. I made a friend, who became something more than human words can describe. I could feel his pain, he could feel my sadness. At times, it felt like we were one being with one spirit. He opened my mind and eyes to the beauty of everything around us and helped me feel less alone despite the bullying I endured. Before I met him, I started having feelings of physical attraction, mostly for a certain girl
  9. Elliot and David both had their lives changed by encounters with Extraterrestrial life as children. While most have seen or heard of their tales, it is not the end of their strange adventures. Their stories continue as they traverse the realms of possibilities beyond imagination.
  10. I review stories that interest me on GA or for new writers that need the extra incentive to keep going, like myself. However, most of my reviews on GA storeies are short. For published writing like novels and book series, I follow a synopsis and review format that I used to use in my book reaction reports for High School. I find that too be the genuine way of writing a thorough review of a book. Yes, there will be spoilers and there are pointed critiques in there.
  11. When I write, I create worlds and characters bigger than myself, but at times, they are representative parts of me. They hold all my fears, my hopes, and my dreams of what reality could be. Last year, I was riding high after finding a new job that was more fulfilling, finishing my goal of reading 100 gay stories from across all genres (Haven't written all the reviews, but you can get a hint of my varied reading), and being in better health than I have been in decades with new corneas. Then, something happened, I stopped writing, stopped dreaming. People might have noticed, I have fallen off. I don't know what exactly caused it to happen: was it a change of focus, the need for new goals, or the fact that someone used my stories from GA and represented it as their own on Youtube? Maybe it was a bit of everything and I've been trying to find that spark again to write, share what I've read, and dream. There aren't that many people that write reviews on GA like I did when I first started, very few people in our community offer reviews and ratings on published work. To me, sharing my opinions and reading interests is offering a door for others to open and explore. In terms of storytelling, I prefer to experiment and take the roads less traveled, but familiar to those that know the destination. I don't know what story I can tell right now, what story can re-ignite my spark for writing, but I do want to find it again. If there's any muses out there, please show me where I must go.

    Epilogue

    I haven't forgotten, just been pre-occupied.
  13. I learned about Krampus from B-Horror movies Christmas is a joyous time of warmth and togetherness, but remember it was originally a pagan holiday with libations and wild sexual orgies before being co-opted by Christians to celebrate the birth of Christ, which technically would not be December 25th. If I were to write a story about the original Christmas, I am not sure if GA's site policies would allow it.
  14. Train an annihilape up, you will love him. Mankey needed the third stage as Primeape just hasn't seen any love over the last few gens. Ghost/Fighting type is a fun dual form and the evolution by move use was a neat a little gimmick for this old-school monkey boxer. I wish there was a way to link this game up with Legends Arceus, I want my Hisuan Goodra to play.

    Happy Prompt-Day!

Love these @ValkyrieI'm seriously considering #92 as well
  16. Aw @Myryou're giving readers a bouquet I like this word, it encompasses a lot of variety and writing
  17. I was inspired to write this through my prompt, someone who live their life in complete denial of themselves. It's a very interesting portrait of a man who is trapped in a world of his own creation, probably filled with regrets, compromises, and desires. It's a psychological story about accepting mortality and accepting reality even if it's bleak. Additionally, readers will probably figure out that the young man in my story was murdered. I took inspiration on this from a certain gay serial killer that has made his rounds on Netflix recently, but I won't mention his name. I will not celebrate evil, though I will explore it. Hope folks like this very short horror story
  18. Waiting in the middle of the night is a scary thing to do, but it’s a prerequisite for gay hookups in the modern world, especially when you’re not out and proud. I married a woman I do not love, but I cannot leave her due to obligations. I cannot admit my sexuality to my family, because their sense of morality is binary between light and darkness, homosexuality would fall on the latter. I live in the public eye as the youngest state senator at age 26, representing a very conservative district. I
  19. A short story about a man denying things in his life, including the most important truth of all.
  20. @Bill WGlad you took up my prompt and I enjoyed this story. Daniel's plight isn't explained, which is the point about horror and the fear from the unknown. You don't need monsters, ghosts, or unnatural forces acting overtly, just a hint of it is enough to be frightening. It reminds me of the story of Roanoke and the mysterious disappearance of the colonist, which I am not sure if you were going in that direction, but it's a nice unsolved mystery to this day.

    Chapter 11

The next day was full of activity as the Xie household began their preparation for Xie An, the prime minister, and their illustrious head, to head into court for official business. Xie Lian was accustomed to courtly practice as both the Crown Prince and later as the Guoshi 国师1 of Yong’An when he was known as Fang Xin. Xie Lian had participated in courtly rituals from the proper grooming techniques that involve certain lengths of hair, beards, and even fingernails to the colors of robes between i

    What's in a Theme?

@Valkyrie The theme for the last anthology was fun and open-ended, I am only one story short of reading all the stories (Primal Park will be the last one and everyone knows I like Sci-Fi/Fantasy so that one I am savoring ). Several writers, myself included, were really captivated by the concepts surrounding anniversaries, because it was a universal concept.

    Chapter 10

I agree science and fantasy can intersect, even in the genre of gods and magical creatures. it's just a matter of perspectives. One of the reasons why I enjoy TGCF/Heaven Official's Blessing is that magic isn't the solution to every issue, but it is something that grows and develops with the user. That's sort of how eastern fantasy operates in a nutshell with magic, while there are a set of principles and ideas to follow, the application of it is based on an individuals ability.
