  1. Is Disney finally taking the hint that they should keep their old viewers happy and go across generations? Or is this a badly conceived idea to bring back Cory + Topanga, and the old gang? (Yes Mr. Feeney ) I want to believe Disney wants to get my viewership with a fun tv show that reminds me of being a kid again too. Alas, I dare to hope Sorry about all the mistype, but I am extremely excited that part of the TGIF block is coming back to TV.
  2. Depends if you love gothic American Horror, I do, so I have seen all three. Matt, the pacing is classic American horror, more plot development and build up rather than tension or modern horror tricks. I'm not talking Hitchcock brand horror when I say classic, the show is more like Faulkner's literary horror. This is a horror movie with an actual plot and character development. There are layers of meaning, absurd realism, and twisted desires. Plus, there's some eye candy and naked guys (alright, I am not just appreciating the show for its plot ):
  3. You can cry on my shoulders and I will cry on yours, if anyone asks, we can just tell them we're making out swan style

    Children and adults

Eternal Vigilance, I guess... Life is complicated, I tend to be skeptical of all things. Authority, peers, relgious principles, and even friends are not beyond suspicion. However, suspicion does not mean I must live in fear of everyone. For me, the child sex abuse issues and stories have brought a mixed bag of things. The Pro is that I am very hard to be shocked or caught off guard by some one's indiscretions, my experiences keep any possibility open. The Con is that I have trust issues with everyone I know to a certain point.
  5. Nope, I am cheering for Seattle too! I can't stand another Manning winning the Super Bowl. The Manning family does not own the NFL Hoping for lots of interceptions!

Doh Je- Cantonese speaker Hope you enjoy the roast pork and chicken too
  7. Seriously, after reading about how bad the South has taken "Winter", I am quite surprised and shocked at how people don't get common sense concepts to us New Englanders. So, I thought I would share some basic winter tips from New Englanders to GA members down south, so you guys don't become stuck: 1. Take your time and don't rush, when walking- I know Southerners might never heard of the dreaded "black Ice" that we have in Boston and New York, but Ice can be invisible to the eye and on surface, so slow and steady keeps you safe. 2. If Driving, plan on alternate routes on top of alternate routes- One of the biggest problems I am hearing is that people don't seem to prepare for alternate routes. Sure you might have driven the same road every day for 20 years, but there might be other roads home. TomTom is decent, but it does not substitute experience and personal attempts. 3. Wear appropriate clothing even if you are driving- For Pete sakes, wear a jacket, even if it is a light one. I am not pointing to the stereotypical rednecks with wife beaters, I am pointing to the idiotic office workers that wear their dress shirts every day. This is the 21st century, most business professionals wear regular jackets or wool coats too. 4. If you don't have special melting salt or other winter supplies, plan on using good substitutes- For instance, you can use kitty litter if salt and sand are not present. Seriously, it's a simple and easily found item in most stores. If your car is stuck in ice, take some kitty litter out and pour a good amount around you tires for traction. 5. Lastly, another car issue- DON'T USE HOT WATER TO CLEAR ICE OFF WINDSHIELDS! Ice is made by water, so one of the issues is that it will just ice up again. Another issue, the most important one, HOT WATER AND A COLD GLASSY SURFACE CREATES CRACKS! If you want to be stitched up after your windshield cracks and breaks on the highway, feel free to do that. Get some vinegar from your home, mix it with a little cold water, and you have a de-icing solution. ------------------------------------ Stay safe and try to be winter prepared even if you usually live in mid 50's - 60's.

    Space Plane

Agreed, amazing feat for space jet engine design. Until we develop Arthur C Clarke's space elevator, this tech may be our best shot at low orbit commercial launches.
  9. I cried a dozen times with "A Walk to remember", so i am game for another tear jerker.
  10. Probably at a seedy motel with a kilo of crack and a dead body like most Hollywood stories about ex-celebs with problems. Or he could pull the Britney card and get pregnant with banger's baby
  11. I stopped crushing after i hit 25, no point in hoping and wanting someone that you can't love fully. Love to me is based on levels of intensity, a crush is like playing call of duty modern warfare on easy It might seem good to play through the plot, but it's missing substance. You can crush after everything with two legs and an ass or dick, but you never really get anything intimate.
  12. Not my genre or generation, but still an amazing singer and individual. Hope we "shall overcome" his lost. R.i.p Pete
  13. I'm game for voyeurism anytime
  14. Sex is sex, all that matters is raw emotions.
  15. Love it and spacey:s portrayal of underwood was spot on, my favorite episode was the one he went back to his all boys military academy, but that episode is probably default good due to subject matter (hint: Frank still has a flame for a certain someone) Another episode was Frank physically assaulting the teacher union rep. after the brick incident.
  16. Only works for kids with overactive parents I think most trolls are not teenagers
  17. Yeah, we've read too many BDSM slash on him So far, Ball-gag, chains, collar, diapers, and loin cloths optional Wonder if this is a publicity stunt, so he can pivot his musical genre from pop to rap. Maybe, he is just working on his new record, his Criminal Record.
  18. Cross-dressing ain't my thing, I prefer the old fashioned idea of collars, chains, and a loin cloth or if you're historically correct, no loin cloth Community service is definitely in his future along with drug rehab, and probably a few months on TMZ's most wanted list. I wonder what would happen if he was kicked out of the US and sent back to Canada? Would Canadians accept him or would they consider him a product of American pop culture?
  19. Umm...What about the creepers....(Assumes Ghostboy is not into that fetish , smiles and steps back slowly ) Celebrities need a real link to normal life; I think their problem is that everything comes to them through handlers rather than gained from personal work or desire. Give a dose of reality, because life is not like an episode of "Entourage"
  20. Drinking cough meds to get a high are among the rumors I want a clean non-overly Christian Celebrity. Come on there must be some kid out there who can act, sing, and not be drunk or high.
  21. Aye, I tend to agree cia and rustie. Sometimes passion mmay flare, but there is a difference between goading and anger. Things like Sports excite our senses and adds bitter rivalries in our interactions, sometimes it seems like we goad each other out of extreme animosity, not merely pleasure in an argument.

My brain says seahawks, but my gut says broncos
  23. What does everyone feel about strong personal opinions? How can you seperate it from trolling or baiting? I had this thought as i read a sports blog last night. I don't know if they were really strong feelings or trolls baiting an argument. (Leaving details general so it does not happen here). The internet has opened up ideas and expression across the spectrum, but how many are true expressions?
