I agree... I've tested Linux systems before lets see.... the ubuntu family, Fedora 9 and 10, openSUSE, Mandriva, mandrake (before it became mandriva), puppy linux, DSL, and the like.
Looking back on it now I love it as a server because it provides a more stable enviroment then the windows server family.
Also for legacy systems I perfer linux to windows because of the fact windows uses more system resources and put higer demands on the hardware then linux does. Linux is pretty much built around the idea to not hog system resources as much as windows.
Even with my new love with windows 7, I'm still planning on taking my desktop PC and converting it to a linux machine again, but which distro, i'm not sure I'm gonna look at the reviews and see which would be best.
Also. Puppy linux I LOVE as well because of the fact I can customize it and use it as a troubleshooting OS and fix computers using it.
