Yes shoveling is chore that my old back rebels at. But the blower is self propelled. It does all the hard work. It'll leave a little residue that I usually scrape with the shovel or just let nature do it's work and melt. -
Outer wear shorts guys - like cargo shorts - hey dodger was worried about zipper chafing. Now end of April till beginning of November I go commando and wear short pants and tee shirts - so to stop zipper chafing you tuck the tee in. You only see a tee tucked into underwear in underwear advertisements.

I thought it referred to a British comedian with the last name of Connolly. My dad (RIP) loved British comedy and this Connolly had a bit of a raunchy mouth\comedy style. My dad used to refer to someone with a nice butt as having a nice "bike rack" because Connolly had this joke, something about how he murdered his wife and buried her bottoms-up so that he had a place to park his bike.

I too say Wow(!), not what I was expecting! quokka, you definitely know how to ramp up my interest in the story! After each chapter, I grow even more impatient for the next chapter, because it is just so good it leaves me wanting more!

Wow !!! Great story Krista. I do love Basketball and I have fond memories of playing with my sons and some times their friends similar to Ridley and his Dad. The part about how he got his name is epic and a testament to our armed forces. As you read between the lines you see the chemistry of the relationship developing hence the kiss. Gabe certainly went above and beyond in drawing Ridley out. I think there is another chapter at least to the story maybe more as the team makes it's way to the state championship and Dad is there to see. The relationship between Gabe and Ridley needs to grow. Plus we have to read the article in the paper.

Thank God I was alone when I read this chapter! When his dad said "Hey bud", there went the waterworks. And, I am not one to shed tears easily, but this chapter got to me. I truly enjoy your writing Krista. While waiting for a new chapter, I read one of your other stories and loved it and look forward to reading many more. Thank you for sharing your gift of storytelling with us.

Come on it's not that bad. For me the Holiday Magic as you call it is an extravagance that has grown out of proportion. Plus I kind of like getting the snow blower out and doing battle with the elements. When done and the storm has passed and the sun is shinning down on the clean fresh snow; the air is clean and crisp. For sure it is a wonderful site. For sure you are tired, there is sweat on your brow, your body is warm now from your efforts even in the cold. As you walk back to your house you survey your work; a little smile comes on your lips knowing you've done a good job. Inside the smell of hot coffee strikes your nostrils. Your lips can't wait then you sip and rest knowing you have bested the elements again. It's not so bad to have met the challenge and won. -
Of course nudist camps will tell you it is against our nature to be covered. Going commando is no where close to that extreme but commando is healthier.

Actually in Asia male toddlers go with out any covering out in public. It was explained as much healthier without a wet diaper chafing their skin.

Obviously you have not had the balls itching problem. Plus having your privates being loose and swinging free with cool breezes pleasuring your most special parts. When you want to show encouragement to another you can have your pecker peek out to see what's up. For sure commando is the only way to fly.

Talk about a story making you feel every single emotion you can possibly have and it is only the first chapter! My hope is, if Blake is homeless, that Aric's parents will take him in. It is the right thing to do! I just took in 2 families plus a teen who lost their homes to a wild fire last week. It is so important for all of us to look out for each other. -
I know a story is well written when a chapter leaves me angry, my blood pressure soaring to new heights and me wanting to kick some fictional characters' butts! Thank God for Austin's friends!

I read your end of chapter notes where you invited comments but I didn't want to stop reading. It is a sweet story well told. I thoroughly enjoyed it also I am so happy that Avery found Lee in the end. Thanks so much for all your work in writing it and mostly for sharing it with us .

Yes, another great chapter! I just hope Robbie will embrace fatherhood and realize what a gift he is being given and be involved in his child's life. Look what he missed with his own father, surely he won't do the same thing to his own child!

In the late spring, summer and early fall, if I don't go commando my nuts sweat and ultimately itch something fierce. Ya gotta have air circulating down there. Heck it's easy to be careful about the zipper, Plus tucking your tee shirt into your shorts ( always wear shorts) protects against any chafing. Plus much easier to get to your dick for any extracurricular activities. Sorry Dodger commando is the way to go for sure, but to each his own.

Thanks for your response. Yes I guess 78 isn't that old today but I have passed the median age of death in my neck of the woods. So everyday is a blessing and one day closer. Glad to hear Daniel was not forgotten but busy with other things. I love your stories you are a great writer. I guess I should give you the benefit of a doubt that the reason for your time lapses is because you are perfecting your work.

I think Ridley's life is about to change significantly. Since it appears to be up to Gabe, I think he is attracted to Ridley and hopefully, his written word, will bring them together.

I love the story - Of course I want to see an end but it is also beautiful in being a never ending story - I guess I must just live with a never ending soap opera - It's been way too long between chapters, 6 months if my reckoning is any where's close to correct. I did miss Daniel in this chapter but it was all about Robbie and Nathan. For sure he would have gone to the party. Dogger through Robbie is just an excellent story teller. His humor is delightful and he surely has captured the persona of a teen age gay boy. SOOO Dogger I am 78 years

What a great start! It is the first story in a long time that stirred up my fatherly instincts, making me want to reach out and help and protect a character in a story. My heart goes out to Ridley and all he is going through by himself (at least for now).
