I hope you were able to take that second cruise on the Queen Mary IRL. Why are people who behave badly surprised when they find out they’ve been monitored and scrutinized more carefully than everyone else? Why do they think no one is paying attention? Why do they do and say things where they can be recorded for playback at a later time? Are they oblivious to the effect they have on everyone else? Why do the nouveau riche like shiny gold-plated stuff so much? Things like their name in giant letters on buildings? Tacky, un-classy stuff like that!

This was an important turning point for Dragon. Devon and the others have to readjust to his new attitude. I think Dragon is beginning to finally feel free! ;-)

I don’t count Mr Ford as a killed character. He apparently lived a long happy life and he was kind to JAM. And, yes, at least it was peaceful! ;-)

Gotta wonder why he has such a visceral reaction to the PDAs. I think it will backfire on him and he’ll end up being the victim. I think he’s got a secret that he might not even realize himself – he’s probably too repressed to know. ;-)

I need to make some popcorn sometime. I have a huge jug of Orville Redenbacher (you were half right, Tim!) that I’ll pop in my microwave popper. No nasty carcinogenic chemical additives like they put in those expensive microwave packs! Sometimes I top my popcorn with shredded Monterey Jack Cheese… ;-)

@Wesley8890 I just have to be different! ;-) Yes JAM, teachers don’t live in the same world as students. At least for much younger children, there is evidence that homework doesn’t help kids learn. When I was in school, I never did homework (it was rarely part of the grade) and I usually didn’t pay a lot of attention to my teachers. I was smart enough to remember odd details (but never dates!) and math just made sense to me up until Intermediate Algebra when I almost flunked. ps I was thinking of you and your scary movies when I posted my latest poll. And then I forgot all about my inspiration when I was coming up with answers. I’m old and forgetful! ;-)

My inspiration for this poll was actually a bunch of scary movies I saw on a list. I got distracted with the other answers and ran out of software-available answers long before I ran out of things to list! Very ironic! I have a bad memory! ;-)

The two women would need to wear the female equivalent of a cup. He’s kind of grabby. I think Mikey should be his cell-mate – he picked him, he should be forced to live with him!

Too bad they can’t convince the chipmunk that Topher is into him! I’d love to see how he reacts to being hit on by the slimy chipmunk. Maybe it’ll shock him out of his Closet! ;-)

I think Topher is planning to send the pictures to Rudolph. I’m sure he’s behind the picture-taking. I’m guessing he’s going to use it to break the trust funds and/or college funds.

You know… the US has the worst healthcare system of all the industrialized countries. More women die in childbirth here than in most of the developed world. She’s already run away once, she could do it again! And if she doesn’t want Adam to be able to trace her, she wouldn’t want to use coverage she gets through his job… Just sayin’…

We all knew something like this was bound to happen when everyone finally found out the whole truth about anna. This was just about as horrible as we all thought it would be. One evil woman who wants to ruin five other lives all at once – six, if you count the fetus. This is the one who should have been killed in the accident in the first chapter of William’s Love! I think that somehow the two evil women in your stories should eventually become cellmates. They deserve each other!

Joey has made tremendous progress since the beginning of the story. A stable housing situation makes a huge difference, but having connections to Star and Allen are even more significant! Their support has make Joey actually think about his actions instead of just reacting to situations – even the hustling was just a reaction to needing money to live. With both Joey’s and Allen’s lives being so unstable (in different ways), things are bound to repeatedly happen. While Joey’s life has been stabilizing, we don’t really know about Allen’s health situation. We do know he doesn’t take his meds consistently and that’s a very bad sign…

Now I’m wondering why we met Ivan and Katya. I’m guessing we’ll hear more about them in the future. We probably wouldn’t have learned their names if that was just a throwaway conversation. ;-)

I know what is feels like when your boyfriend has way cooler friends than you do! I’m very shy so I don’t make friends easily. My boyfriends were always more outgoing and more popular than I am. ;-)

Nothing! Barley is delicious, but does not belong in my typescripts where I intended to write 'barely.' Poor Tim has had to mark up his fair share of mistakes along these lines in my work. Being a somewhat severe dyslexic, I have to concentrate very hard to not mix up certain word pairings. Besides barely/barley, I'm also prone to type minuet instead of minute. These are very difficult for me to 'see,' but I keep working at it, and with help from friends like Tim, I hope I'm improving. Love our community here where we help out one another
