Will @Dahawk be arranging a situation where Kyle and Kaleb become orphans? ;-) I’m sure all it would take is Nan meeting them! They’re so tightly sprung that one conversation with her would literally explode their minds! At best K & K would be permanently released from their corrupting influence, alternatively they’d have to visit their genetic donors who would be locked up in a very exclusive and expensive mental institution (only the best will do!).

Blu was so worried about his family embarrassing him that he did it all on his own! ;-) Why did Blu’s family emigrate from Australia? A garden store seems a little prosaic. I would have though a job in tech or engineering would have made more sense, but maybe his mom or dad burned out in an earlier career and this is a second beginning? ;-)

They’re doing their best! They’re being as sterile as they can be! That’s one of the reasons I can’t stand East Coast snobs – too many stuck-up, sterile people! ;-)

I’m sure that Seth has their bosses convinced that John merely assisted him. That will work until John either leaves the company or gets promoted away from Seth. The senior members of the agency can’t be totally blind if the company is at least somewhat successful… John seems uncharacteristically bold in the second section of the story. ;-)

I particularly like Brenda’s idea of what John might think was kinky: ‘a guy you picked up forgot to brush his teeth or left his socks on during coitus.’

Bauer had a ‘cardiac event’ then later had an advanced case of cancer. He decided not to proceed with further medical care which Dalton referred to as suicide. There are times when it might be medically possible to do more, but the patient decides it’s not worth the additional pain for the few benefits offered – that extra care is usually incredibly expensive and does not provide a lot to the patient. In some cases doctors will admit to the patient that there are no benefits for additional extraordinary measures. Some families are selfish and desperate enough to torture their elderly relatives while hoping for an extremely unlikely ‘miracle’ to happen. If your ‘god’ is all-powerful and she wants to save your relative, she can just as easily give you that miracle without forcing your loved one to endure the extra pain and suffering that additional surgery would involve. It is kinder to allow your loved one the dignity of a peaceful, comfortable death.

The way I interpreted that was that they remained married and living together for appearance's sake. But that they’d stopped having sexual relations and stopped sleeping in the same room. As far as anyone on the outside was concerned, they were married, but it was otherwise over. I think it’s a little awkwardly phrased though.

Why do I get the feeling that the grandson is Gay? How many straight men (apparently without a spouse) would want to run a Bed & Breakfast? A possible future role model (from a distance) for a budding young Gay boy? ;-)

Even one more new HIV infection is too many! Young people are among the fastest increasing infection groups. The cocktail doesn’t work for everyone. Prevention is the only cure!

Suitably creepy! I guess Christopher couldn’t really return the masks, helmets, caps, and headdress to the parents. I’m glad these sorts of things happen almost exclusively only in stories.

It’s amazing that the ‘company built on questions’ doesn’t know how to use a dial phone! Why didn’t they Google the answer? Any old person would be able to tell them you have to pick up the handset before you dial! ;-)
