I am very unlike Shawn. I could never sleep around like he did. I may have had sex on a first date several times, but they were never just one night stands. As I grew older, I realized I needed to know the man before I could have sex with him. (But now the pendulum seems to have gotten stuck in that extreme.) I guess I’m a little more like Ian, but I’ve never had a ‘Shawn.’ You certainly brought both Shawn and Ian to life! ;–)

Disguise him as a fellow acolyte? But why? I’m certain the ‘Benefactor’ would recognize him if they were hoping to use him as reinforcement when she returns to the retreat… ;–)

I think Rudy & Harry should have Damien stay in the palace the entire time that Harry’s mother is in town. He’d easily keep her in her place. She might even accelerate her plans and leave early! ;–)

I guess if you’re Damien’s parents, you learn how to apologize for all sorts of transgressions… ;–)

I’m only familiar with the name because it’s a location in an old computer railroad game… ;–)

That was a clever/mean trick to pull on Eleanor. Invite a bunch of family, many of whom she can’t intimidate and bully. And because they are all Rudy & Harry’s family, she can’t exactly complain that it was intentionally rude! ;–) And she can’t demand ‘services’ from the palace staff like she did with the acolytes! ;–)

Poor Justin. Damien has figured out how to stonewall his dad without being confrontational. Damien just gives out little bits of innocuous-sounding information while avoiding revealing the whole truth. ;–) All these people with connections to powerful people. ;–) I once had a conversation with a Gay now-former Canadian Member of Parliament. I had a conversation and a hug from a now-former US Congressman who happened to be a family friend. I’ve spoken to two local TV news anchors (not interviews) and a couple TV news reporters. I’ve spoken to then-SF Niner coach Steve Mariucci. I’ve gotten autographs from Frankie Beverly (of Maze), several print authors, one or two famous actors and numerous LGBTQ+ directors. But I don’t know any of them well enough to call them up, much less have them drop by to save me or a friend from embarrassment! ;–)

No one man's action can build a wall between us and a better day, no matter how evil, how thoughtless or how destructive. The gunman also died, but police gave no details.

I used to watch Eastenders back in the Eighties. But I’ve never seen Coronation Street, The Bill, Hollyoaks, Emmerdale, Thunderbirds, or any number of well-known British TV series. On the other hand, I remember watching Agony (which I think they called Agony Aunt in the US), Butterflies, and some other fairly obscure TV shows from the UK. And that’s in addition to shows like Doctor Who (Fourth Doctor and newer), Torchwood, Red Dwarf, Are You Being Served, The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin, To the Manor Born, The Good Life, and a bunch of others I can’t remember the titles of or the starring actors’ names.

So no Book Two for Robbie’s second year in America’s Hat? ;–) The older and more populous CA joins you in your grief over the recent incident in Nova Scotia. :–(

And it was surprising to find out that Anatole’s ‘big, scary older’ brother turned out to be Pavel from the bar! ;–)

What an interesting contrast between the troubles of poor Reggie and the mystery that Chris & Mal have discovered! ;–)

So all those other stories with the nauseatingly vain and fantastically beautiful protagonist with apparently unlimited wealth, the ideal boyfriend, custom-built mansion or three, a stable full of expensive vehicles (including a personalized Airbus A380 with bedrooms and offices downstairs), and simply cannot resist describing himself in excruciating detail (down to the vein running down his footlong penis) every time he walks past a mirror or other even remotely shiny surface are not real? ;–)

Cobourg police seem rather ineffective since Alex has survived undetected all this time… ;–)

I only remember that big, clunky, metal box that held the speaker. We stopped going to movies as a family in the mid-Seventies. My car stereos didn’t have a subwoofer until around 2000. Star Wars would have had sooooo much less of an effect if I’d seen it in a drive-in! Most SciFi/Superhero/Adventure movies would lose much of their impact even though my last car had four sets of component speakers with separate tweeters and a subwoofer. Car stereos usually don’t have more than stereo sound systems, unlike my home audio/video system. ;–) My minister father was too honest to try to cheat like that. One year we cut our own christmas tree. We managed to fit it into our very big and boxy 1980 LTD sedan’s trunk. As we were leaving, the tree farm employee didn’t see a tree tied to the roof and thought we hadn’t found one we liked. But my dad told him it was in the trunk and paid for the tree. (Besides, we had a station wagon back when we went to drive-ins and there wasn’t anywhere to hide.) ;–)

So if we can get you interested, you’ll write it? Because there are at least two different three-ways that are likely. One with Grant & Troy. The other with Brian & Aaron! ;–)

They should have been sneakier! Maybe put Jay’s baby monitor in the Major’s cap (‘cover,’ if he’s a Marine)? Planted a bug in his jacket? ;–)

I remember getting odd looks when my friends and I went to a Lesbian dance bar. When I reassured them I was Gay, they let me in. I don’t look too Gay, I guess. ;–) I got the same kind of look when I went to a women-run sex store – I look too vanilla as well. They have a great selection of ‘insertable’ and the staff tests all the products. It’s clean and well-lit, but they don’t carry a lot of the magazines and videos common to even Gay-run sex stores – and it’s in a totally different league from the nearly universally sleazy straight sex stores! ;–)

Don’t tempt him. He listens to reader suggestions. They get incorporated into the story when you least expect it. (Why do you think he has so many redheaded characters in his stories, he prefers smelly, hairy guys!) ;–)

I think the gang needs to move to a larger house, say four or five bedrooms. One for Jett & Theopril, one for Carina, one for Jay, and one for the Major. A fifth bedroom or office could house Theopril’s mining gear. Even better would be a large house with a separate granny flat for Carina, so she’d have her own space and she could come and go as she wanted without bothering the boys (Jay would have his own room in the big house too).

I remembered bits of Damien’s first day at school. He and Reggie make an interesting contrast. It’s nice that they have the LGBTQ parent connection. ;–) I like how things are getting set up for the future. ;–)
