    It's very good and powerful. As to Adele - OMG she is fantastic. LOVING "Turning Tables" and "Somebody Like You" especially. The ... maturity of the latter song is amazing...

    Colebph - I talked to Dan. He's fine with you (or any one else) doing a fan-fic off of his work. Like most authors, he will not read your fanfic just so it doesn't influence any of his writings - I hope you understand. He would prefer if you post your fanfic here in GA.Stories so those that love his stories can also enjoy your work. It would be fine (and actually a good idea) to post a link to your story here when you first start putting it up. Thanks for asking, and good luck with your writing! Trebs

    "pluck the day" - loving that phrase... SO much better than seize that while good, always seemed a little too militaristic. Love the imagery of each day being a ripe piece of juicy fruit. Outlook is everything in life - and you've always had a great one. Hope all goes well medically and echo Marzipan that we expect you to be around GA a long long time :-)

    There is another "book" of the series - Dan has started it but not finished. He's only written 15 of the probably 20-22 chapters and has the vision of where he wants it to go, but just getting stuck on a few details. He doesn't want to start releasing it until he's done (so he doesn't have to go back and make and "corrections") but when he is done with it, he'll send it to Emoe and then start getting it posted here. I liked Sign best - but liked Star a lot as well.

    Even before the one really bad reaction, Dan knew where he wanted to go, and tried a HUGE number of times to get there, but never could get it to go in a way he liked. While not my favorite of his stories, I did like it a lot and also regretted not seeing where it was going to go next - but that's also the benefit and curse of online writing - you get to read some incredible stories and plots that may or may not see completion. Overall though (and ya, I'm biased) - I think Dan has a great track record of completions... but then again, part of it is his unwillingness to share anything until he at least has a decent start on things. I don't even get to see stories that can't make it out of three chapters.

    I love your stories CJ and this one is no exception... but... It just seems a bit odd, with everyone knowing the sporting good store is closed and all, that no one offered Trevor a spare pair of shorts/sweats/jacket/etc - anything to give him a bit more cover. I mean - sure - some of them are ENJOYING looking at his ass - but there has to be at least one straight guy in Carnavon...

    One thing - with the way the weather is - when it is daytime, have a LOT of light around you. If that means getting another floor lamp - do it. I get severely affected by S.A.D. at times, but bright surroundings help. <hug>

    Two potentials... One - the repair shop guy will mention "Oh - this looks a lot like another catamaran we got around here - Rachel's Ares"... And... well... I could see the cute paramedic feeling distraught over having blabbed and possibly gotten Trevor in danger that he offers to... you know - put Trevor up at his place for a while...

    On one side, I agree that this seems like major Headline News and will quickly travel the globe... Then again, the Australians may note all of the baggage that comes up with Trevor's name and squash things until the legal situation can be figured out. I see Bridget making her big mistake in this chapter - after all, every good villain needs to make at least one. Great chapter (as usual) CJ - and filled a big need for something new and good. Been cooped up in bed with a chest/head cold and reading has been the only thing that has kept me sane - been re-reading LTMP and CL :-)

    I liked that he was more complex - I didn't expect this, and it was a nice extra dimension to his character...

    I think it is fantastic that the article never distinguished them as a same-sex or gay couple - just like any other story about a couple that something happened to. VERY happy with that reporting.

    In talking to Dan - he has been working on a third story in the Sign/Star world and occassionally gets inspiration on the third book of Rich Boy. He WANTS to do Dreams - but while he has a basic framework in mind, execution of it keeps shifting. To be honest - I love and want book 3 as well of Dreams, but it is probably in fourth or fifth place as far as a writing project. Also - until Nov 2 - Dan (unfortunately) won't have any time to write and even past that, we have a new place to move into, Thanksgiving, cleaning the old place and Christmas. But at least with those items - he can write at the same time...
