Not every culture supports close contact with their children. Some times this is due to how tradition goes in that region or town or city or country. Its a bad tradition because people fail to improve the social aspect of their children. The heart of stone attitude ... hurts more than it helps. Some still believe in the iron fist raising. But I bet if someone abuse a kid ... you won't find that person living.

I am a bit confused. The only thing I get for two men is that fear of doing the right thing cause the death and the open gate is another. But it just illustrates an accident and whatever. The men feared more of being accused of doing something wrong. ie: The girl screaming and the parents going crazy what did you do to my child and then the police charging the men with abuse. That be the wost case. oh there is another scenario where a kid could use child abuse threat against their parent. If you hit me I will report you for child abuse. Type of abuse: Neglect, Physical Abuse, Child Sexual Abuse, Psychological/Emotional Abuse http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Child_abuse I've been through the above in what be consider the best of being raised in an Asian family. The ideal best be if I was able to follow strictness perfectly I be minimally abused. But I wonder being different lead to my increased abuse. In a different family abuse is quite normal and the kids are much more screwed up from the abuse. I am sure you're bringing the point of where the scare of child abuse could lead to the child falling through the cracks in another way because people are staying away from being accused or labeled wrongfully. Other people would say ... the parent neglected to keep their child safe from harm vs the men did or didn't do anything wrong - maybe neglect there in doing the right thing. I have to say - if child abuse laws were seriously taken when I was growing up ... I be a different person today. Tough topic

Yup sounds about right to find someone closer to home. Its going to take time to find that person but at least you'll get use to trying out before settling to that person. Like meeting their friends and family and the like on the other side. Sharing each other life. It all goes well then you have one truly loving relationship. Again whether its man or woman.

Difficult issue. 1) If it was children involved then really both need to be taught how to play with each other or not to play at all I say both kids are at fault because they are young to dealing with their emotions so both need to learn a few things. 2) If it were Teens involved Still comes with #1 but the real reason behind the above subject - is that boys are generally physical with their anger But still if the two are having issues - they should bring it up with a councilor or their parents Ultimately the fight will bring the parents instantly in and the matter will be heated and opinionated 3) If both are adults then its a matter of what everyone brought up In the wild - there are aggressors - and there are the dominate figure in the pack. This is very true with children or teen or adults. It this happen at work - both employees are in big trouble If its a couple - then it could lead to some form of divorce. If its neighbors then it becomes a hillbilly war. The big issue is that its provoked verbally or physically. Both sides need to learn that this heated emotional standoff - maybe wrong on both sides. Gosh that girl and her nails and the kid that hit her - both need their issue corrected. Its fortunate that a wakeup call by being hit - settled things It could also be maybe she did get a lecture from her parents. Its sometimes is a natural thing that difference are settled physically. Its the practice of the animal nature. Sometimes there is discovery that comes out of a fight. Sometimes there is nothing discovered and it becomes a feud. This nature of bullying - happens too many times in life. Its really wrong but it happens I think the bottomline - differences needs to be settled Both are out of Harmony with each other. It could be the leader of the Pack issue. It could be a silly fight or issue. It could be a tradition of how to settle things But the bottomline what would it take for matter to be resolved. Is it settled by animal nature? or human nature?

Bridget doesn't seem threaten by Trevor being in the bahamas - its only dirk. It doesn't feel right that Trevor has to go on alone. I hope he does meet some gay boy on another yacht thats going to austraila too or seychelles. Then at least its like two ships going to the same destination. There are adults that completely weened off of anything cartoon or anime. Maybe its because they never had a childhood?

Cartoons are for kids Anime is for the more sophisticated teens and adults Each have their purpose Each tells their own story Can't pick one over the other you could as to acknowledge you out grown cartoons.

Maybe we should allow them to at least rate the story. But note the issue we do have if you make thing anonymous on the internet is that there are those who would spam or exploit the weakness of a website. If you allow free rating or comments anonymous then they are force to enter a code to signify they are not someone who will exploit the website. Even entering a code would discourage people to even Rate because it wasn't simple. But people don't think about the exploiters out there.

It appears that she did do the responsible thing out at sea - calling for help That does show she's earn her right to sail and must have prior to this adventure She won't be able to claim being the youngest that be left to someone else Will that person be as lucky ,.. we don't know CJames has a point about the path taken - its like how can someone make that decision In hindsight - it showed it wasn't the wisest path and it cost the title of being the youngest Ultimately she is the captain of her boat - she bares responsibility of not winning but she has proven she can survive as a consequence of her actions. --- CJames story Trevors out there - maybe he could have been picked up by the italian gov't as a runaway. But we can only hope he does the right thing out at sea. --- Its only the parents that can help or stop their teen from doing something if they feel they can't do the trip. But anything good or bad can happen out there. Its good that there is something there to improve the odds of survival and that the parents vested in that technology. If she sailed in an old 1950s yaught without all the safeties - i bet some one would stop her.
