Unfortunately, yeah, but then again, you knew that! there are areas where fast speed connections are still not available. My county for example, we are the very first farm outside the city limits and have the benefit of DSL through the phone co., but those who live in the more rural area don't get squat! That I know of, there is at least one member (that I chat with) that will not be getting fast connection for a while.

You know, I didn't think of those who are still on dial-up. You are so right about this, It would definitely make it so much slower to upload.

I'm with you 100%. If the images were not announced no one noticed they were there, unless you are as curious as I But now we see them firsthand. So, yeah, I like the way it is now.

Friday July 3rd. Our Moose Lodge had a nice display of Fireworks which are so totally illegal in VA! HAHA!! Afterward, there was Karaoke and we had a blast, 2 Singapore Slings later, I'm happy and ready for bed !

I also agree in part with hh5 but with a bit of a difference. Yes, it would be great to have a FEW ranches for runaways, battered, abandoned, and as KJames says, throwaways but there is an urgent need of centers in the cities in every state. Most of these kids are scared to death and don't know which way to go. They feel totally rejected by the world and if it was up to me, I'd collect every single one of them and give them what they so desperate need....Love. Whenever I read or listen on the news of a gay child being battered I just sit and cry. Being a mother with two Bi sons and a Lesbian daughter, I simply don't understand how can parents out there be so cruel to their own children. How can their love change overnight? That child is the same person as he/she was the day before. So, yeah, I would do what ever I could to help them out. Went to the swimming pool today, first time I go to a pool that has no chlorine but is treated with salt!!! Swam like a fish whenever the kiddies were out of the way. My daughter said "mom" like a gazillion times til I took her out of the pool and told her dad who was just chatting with others to take care of her before she drove me MAD! Re-discovered that I have something called muscles! UGH even my hair is aching!!! Tylenol tonight before bedtime then repeat the pool tomorrow. I'll be going as much as I can. The pool is heated so it'll be open til around Dec. Got a GREAT suntan too!!! Overall, I had a great day.

Trust me, I'm not active and that's why I'm so glad they are opening the pool. I need the exercise! Best thing is that I could walk to it if i wanted to, it's just past a couple farms away! Dan got membership there and we both went to karaoke night (No I did not sing!) and drank like fish, the bill was like $17!! I had a couple mixed drinks and a crap load of beer, danced like no one was watching... til i opened my eyes and saw all them men watching me! LOL!! Oh I hope I didn't look ridiculous! LOL
