Let's hope that Rob remembers, and sounds like he is another do-gooder as well. Eric should take the money and put it to good use, will he, we will see.

Not sure that Eric is going to like being on the receiving end of the fundraiser. He is so independent and this is going to smack him as signs of charity. And I can tell you that he isn't going to like the idea of more publicity.

I like Emily already. But can't see quite why she was meeting with Felicity. Andy and Adam are just too cute. Are we sure we couldn't arrange an accident for Felicity's husband, I am sure that Adam wouldn't mind.

Well, I see the three trouble makers are back, and I guess we know who got into the garden and pulled up the flowers. Idiots. His new neighbor doesn't seem bothered, so that is a good thing. Andy and Adam seem to be having a good time. Good of Brian and Sandra to think of Eric and let him know.

Who or what the hell got into Eric's flowers? Well, a nine day wonder in a small village can turn into a six weeks circus if you aren't careful.

Julie was the girlfriend of Matt's when he got together with Luke. I have to say, I believe she just up and left town after everything came out about Matt and Luke, believe that something was said about she went to stay with relatives. I remember at the time wondering if she was pregnant but then nothing else ever came up about it, but now....

Holy Hell, that was a shitty thing to do to Matt. His mother should have explained a little more, he spent the whole day since the call thinking something horrible was wrong with his father. Really no excuse for that. I sense a disturbance in the force, turmoil ahead...

Ash and Taggert got quite a bit of work completed. More than Ash or anyone else expected. Taggert had a couple of good ideas but almost seemed wary after offering them. Taggert seems to be full of contradictions. Cowboying is hard work, and often for not nearly enough pay, but for those that truly love it, nothing else will do.

I have known a few men like Neil, and it honestly never works in the long run. They have to decide if they can be and how they can be true to themselves. Some never do. Until Neil is ready to be truly honest with himself. Alex is better off backing off and working on his self, whether work or whatever.- 16 comments

A delightful continuation of Eric's coming to terms with his gayness and his continued friendship with Andy and Adam. Well written and the characters are truly delightful. A rare look at the coming out of an older gay man, in a semi-rural environment.

Eric's first Pride and a fabulous time was had by all. Plus, he spotted the elusive Rob...

Richie sounds like a hoot. They found something that might help Eric, maybe someone in their area could get a program started. Sounds like they truly enjoyed their day, and their night is about to get excellent.

Brian to the rescue again. So glad the boys appreciated the gift, Eric enjoyed doing it for them.

In my book, few things beat a quiet meal with good friends. Sounds like Eric is beginning to realize that as well. Can't wait to see Eric at Pride.

Andy has come a long way in learning how to respond and talk with Eric. Eric has his pride, and can be prickly, but he does appreciate everything that Andy and Adam by extension has done for him.

I think Eric would love to be at a Pride event. While we do tend to focus on youth in our culture, most Pride events that I have attended do have a good attendance from the senior community. Andy and Adam had a find time, but now comes a rather hard conversation.

I just love the wordplay and how Adam and Andy are with each other. Adam is going to be furious when Andy had that conversation with him. Eric finds that two strangers stopped to help in minor ways, there are still good people out there. LOL Eric spies an old acquaintance, and takes a quick look back and thinks what might have been.

As I stated in a previous chapter, I never got staying with someone that abused you. I personally never experienced it and the one time my stepfather raised his hand to my mother, she put her hand up and told him he better kill her, because he would have to sleep at some point, and she would kill him. He put his hand down and she got us together and walked out. Never understood the need to physically, emotionally, or verbally degrade or hurt anyone either; what makes someone do that? I know all the pat answers, but just don't understand why truly.

The dinner went much better than I expected, glad to see it. I admit that I was worried, but Eric and Claire and the rest had a really nice visit. I am glad that Claire made the suggestion about Eric doing a video, hope he does.

Really, sometimes you just can't get away from the nosy neighbors, LOL I hope some of what Andy said sticks with Eric, just a short-day trip might do him a world of good.

Love Eric getting out with Andy and seeing gardens from a different perspective. Plus, just good for him to be out and about, getting some fresh air and moving around. I have never understood anyone that put up with abuse. I guess it is one of those things that unless you are in that situation and walking in their shoes, you just don't understand all of the issues.
