I had hoped that Elias might have seen this as a way out, but I guess that was not meant to be. Aaron must make a decision, one that he can live with, whether a long life or short one.

Nathaniel will need to accept something that everything within him screams is not real. Aaron will need to stop pretending that holding Nathaniel at a arm's length will keep him safe. Sade needs to be there to pick up the pieces.

Aaron has taken being an ass to a higher art form. Nathaniel doesn't want Austin, who wants him; he knows enough not to want Aaron, but he can't help but feel drawn to him.

Kaylen and his men found that Lincoln was barely hanging on, they relayed that news to the Marshall, and they attacked almost as soon as humanly possible. Kaylen, Tomas, and Ronan were in the first wave, they managed to break through the gate and enter the city. The Royalist won the day, but with loss of life on both sides. Lincoln is back in the hands of the Royalist; this will limit the foreign prince and block his sway in the north significantly. Could this be the blow that starts the beginning of the end?

Dante needs to talk to someone, maybe Mistress Alice about the need for the pills, that is just going to get worse and may eventually lead to either an accident or tragedy. And I am sorry, Dante needs to suck it up and talk to Frank, have a real conversation, although I am not sure that either of them are ready for it at this moment. -

Granger has been put in an almost no win scenario. If he succeeds and improves the performance of this ship and in the end the Spanish navy, he may well have to face a ship in battle that is harder to defeat. On the other hand, if he fails, it will allow others to assail England as lauding a young Captain without merit, and attack both him personally and the British navy as a whole. I do wonder how quickly it will take Granger to figure out who is trying to sabotage him and who is willing to truly learn from him. I have a feeling this is about to get messy in more way than one.

Why do I think that Sade is right; but will Aaron have the strength to give Nathaniel up and will Nathaniel be willing to walk away?

Nathaniel and Aaron are feeling each other out, figuring out how they fit; but can you fit with someone, mesh into their life when you don't know the truth? Nathaniel likes Austin, but not like that, but has he ever done anything really to discourage Austin's interest in him?

Thought it would be Austin, but maybe Kyle will be the one to suffer a fatal accident.

Aaron needs to be honest with himself, but when it comes to Nathaniel, not sure he is capable of that. Sade is interesting, but aware.

Aaron could have a nervous breakdown. Austin could suffer a fatal accident. Which will happen first.

Nathaniel sparks something that Aaron did not even realize he was missing. Kyle is the jock ass that gets the laugh not because they are funny but because not to draws negative attention to you.

Nathaniel seems to be barely surviving, caring for his mother and trying to survive high school, which can be deadly in and of itself.

Never sure about stories that start in the present and look back. Are you seeing reality, or what the person wishes had happened.
