Lewis & Charles Discover a Murder
centexhairysub commented on Robert Hugill's story chapter in Lewis & Charles Discover a Murder
Amazing how serendipity and strange connections come into play at times. I love the idea of the story, sounds hilarious. Eileen is a better businessperson than I would have given her credit for, and she clearly has an eye for what might well sell, and sell well. Can't wait to see what happens next. -
Fabulous chapter, who knew IM volleyball could be this exciting. I just love all the give and take and back and forth, Austin and Niko add so much to Will's time at Harvard right now. And the fact that Will and Austin just connect that much on the court says a lot, hard to get that connection with someone you just started playing with. OMG, Travis as James Dean will be hot; but Will as a gladiator is going to be epic. Can't wait to see what all the rest end up as. Travis playing Will, knowing he was so close. He wanted to see Will play, and get a look at Austin; can someone say three-way? Can't wait to see what happens next.

OMG, what the hell happened... You never make life decisions in a situation like that, ever.

It was a lucky escape, helped by those that have been under the yoke of tyranny longer than they should or want. Jamal has delivered his first two summons and they have both responded. They travel with Jamal now, to what end, we will see. The Warlock will answer to those around him; he cannot change what he sees only chose to give the information or with hold it. I was hoping they would be able to get the boy in the kitchen, but let's hope he is being protected. Glad that Drake was allowed to come, let's hope it isn't to his death.

March Signature Excerpt: The Wandering Kodama by Mikiesboy

Wonderful story, recommend it strongly. -
Kaylen understands at least in part what is coming; and while Tomas and Ronan have worked to be ready, the future will be a hard test for them. They will have to make decisions and be able to accept that in following Kaylen and the Baron that they throw their lot in with whom leads them, not what they might truly believe. The country stands at a crossroads, but which way will it turn.

This is the one section/genre that I don't read much out of, but I am going to have to find some time to get to a few of these.

Oh Lord, Alice finally made some decisions and started to make some moves and now.... Well, we aren't sure who is hurt, either, Frank, Dante, or Blaise; I know who I would pick... Why in the Lord does Matthew really want to marry Alice? Does he truly love her, or for financial security, or?

I am sorry, this really has lost me. Hope that it gets to make more sense and that those of you that stay with it enjoy more than I could.

Tom, Charlie, Pericles & Gloria
centexhairysub commented on Robert Hugill's story chapter in Tom, Charlie, Pericles & Gloria
Louis, Charlie, and Tom had a lovely outing. Charlie got to see some art that he enjoyed and got to talk to more than a few people and get some ideas and feedback. Louis and Tom got to visit, and people watch to their hearts content. The discussion turned to the fact that Tom is happy. He sees no place back in the city for him to work or even live at this point. He enjoys where he is and what he is doing. While he wouldn't mind working back with this stepdad, he knows that he would be in his shadow and not his own person, and does anyone ever really enjoy that? Decision is for him to remain here and maybe branch out doing something similar to what he has been doing for Louis once it is completed. You know, a truly good project manager is always in demand when it comes to construction, especially for small jobs and in an area like this one. Burgess, Inman, and Burton, the newest member of the DCI group, and isn't he proud to be so. LOL. Well, they met up with Louis and Charlie to give them an update and some information. While they provided what they could on the background for Thomas Englert, and his alias. Some on Uncle Vernon and some of his nefarious contacts and actions; as well as a little on Graham and the death of Aunt Daphane. Now, some things have to remail private but others can be shared and they do so. Louis and Charlie realize they may never know all of what this was about, but they at least know they have been kept in the loop as much as possible. They got some background and hints of a few more things but will have to just be satisfied with what they know. And they seem to be okay with that. No idea where the artefact is yet, but I think we will see that solved at some point, will they share that information with the authorities? We will see. Wonderful chapter. -
A Night so sweet and bitter
centexhairysub commented on Celian's story chapter in A Night so sweet and bitter
Interesting short about a night/weekend away between two men, obviously friends for many years, and their sons who are also friends. Really well written and striking a good balance and flow to the story. Well done. -
So far, they move forward away from Septimus, but he gains with each step. Separating was perfect, as each pairing or trio was able to dodge those in chase. Glad that the Warlock and Carel were able to get away as well; but do hope the kitchen lad isn't forgotten, as I am sure the traitor will not forget how close he and Carel were becoming and he will be suspect

Weekly Wrap Up (Mar. 8 - Mar. 14)
centexhairysub commented on wildone's blog entry in Gay Authors News
As someone born on March 17th, with dark auburn hair when I was born; I have always felt at least partially honorary Irish. Of course, what little hair is left is whiter with a hint of pale red now but still. Never understood the getting drunk, even when young and dumb, but always did enjoy watching those that did. Got a Celtic knot given to me very young with green jade and have used it as my green for many decades. My Friday the 13th was spent at work as well, nothing untold occurred. Can't wait for the Poetry Anthology to publish. Hope everyone has a great week... -
If that is true, then kill him now. Any child with his ability will eventually use it capriciously.

Oh lord, I can tell I am going to be so lost...

Graham & his sister
centexhairysub commented on Robert Hugill's story chapter in Graham & his sister
All the rest are bad, but honestly, nothing is worse than Arkansas. -
I will honestly only be happy if Fennrin and the Herald end up dead soon. At this point, there is no way for Fennrin to redeem himself. Only his death will serve.
-
This is a step too far. If the Herald and even Fennrin do this, then Ainreth should violently oppose them. Even if it means their death or his.

Reunions and Revelations
centexhairysub commented on Thirdly's story chapter in Reunions and Revelations
Well, glad that the Roux was able to make contact with family via the dreamscape, and perhaps pulling Jay in to meet the family at a distance would be a smart idea. Maybe in the dreamscape, Iris would be able to communicate better. Could the portals being closed by the God's have something to do with Iris not being able to transform and not being able to communicate better? So many things happening, can't wait to see what is next. -
Kaylen proves to be a true and good leader. He sees not only the victory but the sacrifice of those that made the victory possible. He spends time, the most precious commodity, seeing and being seen by those that fought and gave all they had. The families of those lost also know that Kaylen knows of their loss and will remember the sacrifice of those that gave all. The King as left, and Thornmere stands; but the threat is perhaps not over. Will the Scots move against them again soon, or will there be other more pressing concerns. Will the King have his army between them and the Scots, or will the Scots find someone else an easier target instead? Tomas and Ronan have made their choices and spoken their vows both in their heart and out loud to each other. They heed the wisdom of Kaylen's words but also the knowledge that he knows, understands, and cares deeply for them anyway.

Graham & his sister
centexhairysub commented on Robert Hugill's story chapter in Graham & his sister
Lord, Graham's fall from grace was swift and decisive. Of course, with the police no longer commenting, perhaps Graham has turned state's evidence, does England have that, and witness protection? Patsy and Bobbie sound like the British version of snobby white trash from Arkansas that condemns gossip but always pick their feet up in the stall to see if anyone says anything delicious in the bathroom at the local steakhouse. And the descriptions, my god, I can just see them both so clearly. Daphane is rolling over in her grave, she would have never believed it, not her Graham. -
Lord, as if Will, Marie, or Travis needed any more publicity; well, I guess maybe Travis, with showbiz, any publicity is good publicity. Will like volleyball, this might allow him to work out some of his aggressions. I swear they are going to have to start making Will's bedpost out of 10 x 8 planks for him to make all of these notches. Great chapter...

Jamal, Devon, and Whip are heading for the first knight they must locate; they all realize what is at stake and what they must be willing to do to succeed. Septimus and the traitor arrived back at the castle but appear to be too late; let's hope that is true. And let's hope that the Warlock, Carel, and his friend in the kitchen are all safe as well.
