You would like to think that in a crisis, we as humans would pull together and all do the right thing; unfortunately that has never proven to be the case. Without a strong societal control, the strong have always taken advantage of the weak. Alex is proving to be a leader that does the right thing for the right reason. Wonder how he and the rest will handle a town of kids being run by a tyrant.

Damn, I think a few secrets are about to come out and I have to wonder how they are going to effect all of those involved. Excellent chapter, can't wait for the next tone.

Excellent chapter, I have to believe that keeping both Bastion and Kelly alive will be for the best. I do wonder if Kelly is working directly for the aliens as well or if she is part of something else. Hate that Tobi and Alex will be out in the field with all of this going on as well; would be the perfect time for mischief. We all understand that life sometimes takes a toll on being able to keep up with the writing, we appreciate getting the new chapters when we can.

Really enjoyed the latest chapter of Northern Exposure, the battle scenes were as usual very realistic. I am truly enjoying how Granger is dealing with all of this; and how what is happening can be tied in the actual historical issues. I know that those more learned than I have argued the level of involvement the British actually had in the upcoming assassination of the Czar, I personally believe they were heavily involved; but Mark is weaving just the right names and facts into his story for it to match wonderfully.

It still amazes me that after each victory; Granger tries to play part or all of the victory off as luck. It is obvious to all those around him that it is no such thing. How involved the British were in removing Czar Paul I and placing his son Alexander I on the throne has been debated by more learned historians that I; but regardless less that six months after this chapter, he was dead and the British had their ally. Truly a wonderful chapter; although I do hope that Granger realizes that Daventry, while his ally at this moment, has loyalties to others much stronger than that to Granger. The battle scene was wonderful as always. Can't wait for the next update.

After a victory always comes the really hard part; setting up and keeping society of whatever design going. Such a truly interesting chapter; can't wait to see the next one.

As I commented early on, I thought the lost love was sent as well; just wrong on which one. Love how this is continuing to develop and deepen. Keep up the great work.

Just a few minutes into your description of Dr. Jones, I had a flashback to a conversation that JP had with Vella about God being a black woman. Therapy may truly do wonders for JJ, that and some medication. Love the self-revelation that Brad had about Marc. Great chapter, and can't wait to see what happens when Sabrina Granger and Elizabeth Danfield come face to face.

Love this update, there was real joy to be found in this chapter. I think that change is coming, not just to a realm reborn, but the kingdom as a whole.

Agree about JJ's attitude toward Bitty, but my issue is that JJ seemed to indicate that he had inherited the illness; you have to be biologically linked to do that. I doubt that JJ even has many memories of Bitty. There are mental health issues can be passed through families but not just by being around them, so there has to be a biological component. I am just being anal about this; and not in the way this story can be... LOL...🤣

I don't think that I ever felt happier about Will and Zach than I did at the moment that Will announced that Harvard would be his college of choice. I have never thought that Will and Zach needed to be around each other until they are much older; when hopefully they understand themselves and what they want out of life better. I was beginning to wonder about this type of diagnosis with JJ, but I don't remember Bitty Schluter ever being diagnosed with any type of mental illness. Bitty was a drug addict and JJ's mother; are we referring to Jeannine, who was his step-mother, when the reference was made to his mother being bipolar? I will go back to the stories that have Bitty in them to check, but I really don't remember her ever getting diagnosed with a mental issue; it would have made it easier for Brad and Jeannine to hold onto Darius and JJ when she tried to get them back, before her overdose. I actually thought JJ handled the situation about as well as he could have. I loved the deal about the pen. I use Mont Blanc and you really can't hardly use a regular pen after you get use to using them.

So impressed with everything about this chapter; not only the writing and character development but the feelings they both evoke. Bravo...

Okay, Brad is an ass as usual when it comes to dealing with any of his kids, don't understand why he never learns. I can't see JJ ever going on a scorched earth policy like Will so until something is really important enough for him to risk everything, JJ will give in to Brad just to get rid of him. I am not sure that JJ doesn't need to have someone to talk to and deal with some of his issues because I honestly don't think anyone in the family is equipped to do so, at least not with JJ. Clearly JP was worried about Zach being in Will's room, and wanted him to have time to deal with it before dinner; damn, another dinner at Escorial with the possibility of drama. I am starting to worry as well about the amount of drugs that Will does recently. It is so easy when you have that kind of disposable income to just slide into that lifestyle. Surfing always seemed to ground Will, and he hasn't been in a while, at least not that we know of. Never been a big Patrick fan, but not sure that Zach being there is good for anyone either. I could actually see Marie and Ryan being a couple, not sure anyone needs to find there happily ever after in high school, but... Great job as usual, Mark.

Truly a fitting end to a wonderful series of stories; well written and thoroughly enjoyable all. I hope that you enjoyed developing and writing about these wonderful characters as much as we did reading this lovely little saga. Will look for the updates no matter how short and sweet they prove to be.

Going to start with the meeting in Boston; well done as always Mark. I do think that Wade needs to come to terms with some of what has happened more than he has. JP is right, he usually is, about Alex needing to be truly sure of the past before making Elizabeth an out and out enemy. Matt seems to understand quite a bit of what is going on; maybe he can help Wade deal with this a little more. Brad and Jake are good not just as a couple but as a team. Wade is right that they need someone in Sabrina Granger's vicinity to at least keep a watchful eye on what she is up to; don't know that it would be very easy to get someone truly close; but even nearby would be a plus. Now to the New York City scene; exceptionally well done Mark. I think Stef's issues have made him act inadvisable in the recent past; JJ was right about that. Not sure that they are as bad as JJ perceives them but I am sure there was talk. I truly wish Will could find someone that he could view as a partner, not necessarily the happily ever after one, but someone that could ground him a little bit. I am starting to worry that JJ may have more issues than anyone has realized yet. I think that most forget that his real mother was Bitty Schluter, and because of her extensive drug use and we only got glimpses of, JJ might have to deal with residual problems from that. There are several issues that can arise with adolescents even into their late teen years that can be triggered by a mother's use of drugs or alcohol while pregnant. There is a while group of neurodevelopmental disorders associates with this. While JJ has not truly exhibited the symptoms; some of his actions could be attributed to them in certain ways. Keep up the great work Mark, can't wait to see what happens next with this.

Oh WOW, maybe the others will come out of this; we can hope with little or no issues. Maybe if they do, a vaccine could be made from their blood. Looks like a good group of new additions; but still worried about letting the possible saboteur roam free. Glad that Alex switched some of the arms out; I don't like the fact that just because they are adults the others think what they say goes. Can't wait for the next chapter.

I looked at three different definitions of slutty; sexually promiscuous was the general definition of all three. How many men had Will slept with in just the last few weeks timeframe in this story? He may be the anointed one for his generation in this saga but you have sex with as many men as he has at his age; yes you are sexually promiscuous, ie slutty. Not saying it is a bad thing at all, I personally probably had a higher count at the same age; without the money, fame, big dick, and great body. That being said maybe it takes one to know one, but yes, Will fits the generally accepted definition of slutty.
