Another excellent chapter, a true high adventure. Like the others, love how the High King turned the attack back on those responsible. Can't wait to see what the next chapter holds.

I hate the idea of brining in two others to protect them; but it has to be done. Maybe Jeff can find someone that Drew will be comfortable with, but I don't know, not sure someone from his past would work well; but we will see... This chapter was just filled with delicious tidbits that left you wanting so much more. Can't wait for the next update.

It seems that Maynor may be putting out energy in to many directions and levels. He doesn't seem to realize what he is doing. This plan may have been in place for many years, but the very situation that allowed it to activate, may well be it's undoing.

Oh happy day, Granger is back in action. I have missed him and his adventures so. I do believe that the winter this year would be one of the worst in recent history. Plenty of time for mischief if they can get to Russia and the capital there. A visit with another King, George just can't seem to stop making friends in high places, even if this one will have to be keep more under wraps for now. Glad they had someone to help them with the lay of the land, fancy that, the right person just appearing at the right time. Do wonder why Daventry was so cool to Brookstone, hope we find out.

OMFG, I leave for one week with no internet access and the dam breaks... So very excited to see you back and posting, excited about both equally. I had to go back and read the last couple of chapters to make sure I was up on what was going on; God, I did miss this so much. This chapter flowed as if no time had passed since the last post. A telling point to your talent. I do think that Julian is way to much trouble, he would have to be hellacious at his job to put up with all of that. Will was right that he would need Stef to smooth and calm JJ, although I agree with JJ; if someone had done that to the right one of Will's past amours then Will would have equally gone ballistic. I do think that JJ doesn't really understand how to handle Carullo; but I think part of that is that Carullo doesn't know what he wants and doesn't seem to be doing anything to try and get past losing his love on 9/11. Or if he is trying to work on it; it is behind the scene and we just aren't getting to see it. Can't wait to see where you decide to take this story, Mark...

Excellent chapter, the writing was great and the story just flowed perfectly. I was honestly expecting more trouble than they have had so far; but I guess that doesn't mean there won't be more before they get to Maurice...

You know, sometimes it is just the little things that you can do for people that make it all worth while.

Have to say that I have enjoyed this each time that I have read it. I read it as it was being posted the first time, then did a re-read a month or so after the initial posting; but decided to wait to do this last one until the author finished the re-write. The time and energy that it took to add almost 40,000 words to a re-write/clean-up must have been staggering, but it was well worth it. I can be a very bitchy reader, and did pick up in the initial posting some of the technical issues that the author wanted to go back and fix. I actually really admire his desire to do so, and purely from a readers point of view appreciate it greatly. I feel that the story simply flows much better now versus the original posting. However the additional written areas that were added to the story helped more than anything. They smoothed out a few plotting gaps and added much to the overall story. In places, I could easily tell what was added and in others; I had to read a chapter twice to find hardly anything that was changed, and a few times could not find anything in particular chapters. This is a thoroughly enjoyable read that was made even better by the re-write/clean-up done by a truly dedicated author. Cannot recommend this story enough, simply a delightful take of love and redemption, as well as finding the true power that is within us all.

Greece, what a great place to recover. Hope they get a chance to.

I have decreed that this story shall never end. It must keep going with a posting ever week for all eternity. So saithe the Goddess... Really enjoyed the chapter and can't wait to see what happens next and where they are going, somewhere fabulous, I just know it.

There is a special place in hell.... He was actually one of the two that I had thought of but never could decide between the two of them. This was an amazing chapter for all of the right and wrong reasons, the pacing and writing were just spot on.

Another great chapter, the author was truly talented. Myr, thank you so much for reposting this story. I know that the author never finished the third book in the series, but I do hope you post what he did complete.

Even though it is rather cliche, people should always tell those they care about what they need to. You truly never know when the last time you see or speak to someone could really be the last time...

I guess that you really can't expect better from demons but hate when they use children like that.
