Great chapter; but have to wonder what type of danger... Is his boss hurting him or someone else? Is he in an abusive relationship?

Really interesting chapter, can't wait to see what happens next. Love how they handled everything with the Mayor and Fire Chief in the diner. The slow speed chase was something else... Have to wonder what caused the accident? Who was on the tape???

Candestine is dead; not just because Skold was better and Rebecca and Dom helped him but because like anyone consumed with hatred, you become blind to everything else. You can never succeed if hate is all you are... Can't wait to see what happens next...

The sister obviously hates Skold more than she feels anything else in her life. Such a negative emotion will only destroy her in the end and it will be as if she never was...

I am not sure who ended up being a bigger asshole, the Sheriff or Raymond. I guess I will go with the Sheriff but it truly is a close call. The Sheriff is like so many in Texas with that position; they got it not because they know how to do the job but because they can talk faster and bullshit better than anyone else... Raymond was just so completely out of line; do not care how he really feels about Dan, that was just too far over the line...

Loved both couples coming together but Miss Sybil and Arthur was really something special. The emotion and love was just palpable. So happy, can't wait to see what is next...

I say just go whichever way your gut is telling you. I can see an argument for either one. I do think that being a lawyer, Jeff would want to keep everything above board and since Dave was there when everything happened, there should not be any legal ramifications involved.

Good chapter, and while we had a question or two answered, there seems to be more popping up and coming through. Good pacing and the storyline just could not be better. Maybe the guys should consider polygamy; if Tom is that hot... LOL... Can't wait to see what direction you take with the story next...

The first part of the chapter in the club I thought was well done; but I have to say the second half, the fighting seem rather disjointed and rushed... Do have to wonder what will happen next...

Not sure that I agree with the decision to kill Vanessa Holland, after all, there is nothing to show that she knew what Sinclair was going to do... There are other religions that follow closely what the Fey religion seems to be, but I have to wonder how it will play out here, I sense that it maybe important. Second sight always shows what maybe; there are often many variables that can do effect what is to come. That is why the ability of a seer is valuable but always open ended in what may come. There really has not been enough of an explanation on why his sister hates him so; there must be more to that story...

Good chapter, but I want Sybil and Arthur to get back together; hurry up... I can't imagine what it would be like to have your soul ripped in half than all these long years later, have it come back together...

Times are changing; I grew up in a small town in Texas and still own property in the area so I am back often. While there is still people that spew hate and bigotry more and more people are taking a live and let live attitude. Often people will surprise you both in good and bad ways with how they choose to react. I did not comment about the guns last chapter because I felt sure they would still be around this chapter so here is my take. As stated, I grew up here in Texas and have been around guns my whole life. I have no problem with someone owning a pistol, rifle, or a shotgun. I draw the lines at the automatic weapons and the supersized clips as there is no legitimate use for them other than to maximize your kill ratio. If you are such a bad shot that you need an automatic weapon to hunt with or need to be able to spew out 200 rounds, then you are too bad of a shot to own a weapon of any kind.... Training and safety are key with dealing with weapons.

Enjoyed the chapter, plus the new faces. Surprised that Paul would think Jeff would fire someone over flirting, makes me think a little less of him. Not unusual at all in a small town for law enforcement to not rock the boat and go against the fire investigators report. Do wonder how long either will have a job when this family gets through with them.

Great chapter, pacing and writing are both first rate. Can't wait for Sybil and Arthur to be reunited. I wonder how many couples that are truly in love will want to remain together??

Really enjoyed this chapter, surprised to discover that Skold is as sexual as he apparently is. Feel as if a layer comes off each chapter. Not sure yet if Dom is really to be trusted but I sort of think so.

Like the men, I never even thought about the fact that most of Christmas was probably in the house and went up with it... Sometimes we men do need a woman or women around to smooth at the edges. Love how one person's small gift or idea of what they are getting doesn't always match someone else's or reality. Uncle Raymond sound interesting; but he will be just another facet to this story we will have to adjust to and learn to be ready for... Keep up the good work.

Enjoyed the chapter; have to admit that he seems as dangerous without weapons as he does with them, plus he seems to acquire them quite easily. Have to wonder why he cares about the girl??? And who the hell is Dom??? He did get some information; maybe not all he wanted but....

I laughed and cried and got thoroughly pissed reading this chapter; all the hallmarks of a great story... I like how he told the story about what happened at the other vet and how he went out of his way to protect Seth; although it clearly wasn't needed in this instance. I do agree there is something very sensual about wearing the close of someone you have been intimate with; or at least I have always found it so...

Can't wait for Arthur and Sybil to be reunited, that truly will be special. Prophecy can move people forward but it can also be an impediment; if anything goes wrong...

So enjoyed this latest chapter; I was so glad the dog made it out okay... There are always idiots like the Fire Chief in small Texas towns, they usually have their position because of family and keep it because it isn't worth it to fight about, unless they really screw something up... Glad to see so many were willing to step up and make sure that everyone had a place to sleep; that is also the way in a small town, you have to balance the good with the idiots... Can't wait to see where you go next...

OMG, I had no idea you posted on this site... I read Castle Roland mostly to try and get updates on this story since I found it a couple of weeks ago... Loved this chapter and this story just keeps getting better and better... I really like how you broke the groups down and explained who is currently in each one and their levels; this really helps keep everything straight. The plotting and writing on this chapter was exceptionally good. Can't wait to see the next update...

There seems to be a convergence of interesting variances; have to wonder where this is going next and exactly who will survive....

Great scene with the " old friend ", and rather hot as well... I have to wonder who our vet has managed to annoy, of course growing up here in Texas; being gay is enough to annoy some... Keep up the good job...
