Good chapter, but I want Sybil and Arthur to get back together; hurry up... I can't imagine what it would be like to have your soul ripped in half than all these long years later, have it come back together...

Interesting first chapter; can't wait to see where you take this...

Times are changing; I grew up in a small town in Texas and still own property in the area so I am back often. While there is still people that spew hate and bigotry more and more people are taking a live and let live attitude. Often people will surprise you both in good and bad ways with how they choose to react. I did not comment about the guns last chapter because I felt sure they would still be around this chapter so here is my take. As stated, I grew up here in Texas and have been around guns my whole life. I have no problem with someone owning a pistol, rifle, or a shotgun. I draw the lines at the automatic weapons and the supersized clips as there is no legitimate use for them other than to maximize your kill ratio. If you are such a bad shot that you need an automatic weapon to hunt with or need to be able to spew out 200 rounds, then you are too bad of a shot to own a weapon of any kind.... Training and safety are key with dealing with weapons.

Enjoyed the chapter, plus the new faces. Surprised that Paul would think Jeff would fire someone over flirting, makes me think a little less of him. Not unusual at all in a small town for law enforcement to not rock the boat and go against the fire investigators report. Do wonder how long either will have a job when this family gets through with them.

Great chapter, pacing and writing are both first rate. Can't wait for Sybil and Arthur to be reunited. I wonder how many couples that are truly in love will want to remain together??

Really enjoyed this chapter, surprised to discover that Skold is as sexual as he apparently is. Feel as if a layer comes off each chapter. Not sure yet if Dom is really to be trusted but I sort of think so.

Like the men, I never even thought about the fact that most of Christmas was probably in the house and went up with it... Sometimes we men do need a woman or women around to smooth at the edges. Love how one person's small gift or idea of what they are getting doesn't always match someone else's or reality. Uncle Raymond sound interesting; but he will be just another facet to this story we will have to adjust to and learn to be ready for... Keep up the good work.

Enjoyed the chapter; have to admit that he seems as dangerous without weapons as he does with them, plus he seems to acquire them quite easily. Have to wonder why he cares about the girl??? And who the hell is Dom??? He did get some information; maybe not all he wanted but....

I laughed and cried and got thoroughly pissed reading this chapter; all the hallmarks of a great story... I like how he told the story about what happened at the other vet and how he went out of his way to protect Seth; although it clearly wasn't needed in this instance. I do agree there is something very sensual about wearing the close of someone you have been intimate with; or at least I have always found it so...

Can't wait for Arthur and Sybil to be reunited, that truly will be special. Prophecy can move people forward but it can also be an impediment; if anything goes wrong...

So enjoyed this latest chapter; I was so glad the dog made it out okay... There are always idiots like the Fire Chief in small Texas towns, they usually have their position because of family and keep it because it isn't worth it to fight about, unless they really screw something up... Glad to see so many were willing to step up and make sure that everyone had a place to sleep; that is also the way in a small town, you have to balance the good with the idiots... Can't wait to see where you go next...

OMG, I had no idea you posted on this site... I read Castle Roland mostly to try and get updates on this story since I found it a couple of weeks ago... Loved this chapter and this story just keeps getting better and better... I really like how you broke the groups down and explained who is currently in each one and their levels; this really helps keep everything straight. The plotting and writing on this chapter was exceptionally good. Can't wait to see the next update...

There seems to be a convergence of interesting variances; have to wonder where this is going next and exactly who will survive....

Great scene with the " old friend ", and rather hot as well... I have to wonder who our vet has managed to annoy, of course growing up here in Texas; being gay is enough to annoy some... Keep up the good job...

Well, another really good chapter. This has not had the impact that Gordy Comes Home had; at least not yet; and I certainly hope never in the same way... I had that one figured out early, and just got heartbroken early and often... I have to admit that Tom caught my attention; have to wonder how much he will go against one of his bosses; but it could make for an interesting time...

An interesting chapter; dealing with a small child this early in a relationship is always interesting... Children do understand much more than some adults give them credit for; even some that are parents.

I loved both of the earlier stories and this one certainly started out with all the heart and appeal that they both possessed... Can't wait to see where you go next...

Heartbreaking way to start the story; and a strange way to end the first chapter... I do wonder how a stab wound to the leg would cause this type of reaction; unless it hit a main artery...

Family is never easy to deal with after a death; and no will or inheritance is ever truly safe... People will fight and kill over the strangest things...

It is funny how there always seems to be one person in the family that sees what is going on more clearly than the others; sometimes that can be a good thing... I have to admit that the back and forth is making it a little hard to stay in sequence while reading; but the storyline is really interesting...

Damn, have to wonder why someone that is current is going to be tied to a murder from so long ago; is this going to be one of those times when something in the distant past touches many aspects of a current situation...

Really enjoyed this chapter, I have to say that the flashbacks give interesting insight to some of the current issues but not all of them. I do think that the frequency of the flashbacks are hampering the pacing of the story; but that maybe what you are trying to do with them; is tie the story to a pace that you are comfortable with...

Loved this chapter, I half expected Miss Sybil to show up at some point. Can't wait to see what happens next...

So well done; I thought the scene at the memorial was just perfect. We got to meet the sort of ex; and I find her a little off putting; flirting at a memorial service just isn't done; at least not in Texas... Can't say that it surprised me that everyone separated as soon as possible; glad to see that Will was trying to take care of Dally... Brad handled the situation with the custody about as well as could possible be done; let's hope they keep their side of the agreement. Stef handled everything well, and seems to be dealing with Will better, if not completely on an even keel. A little surprised at Will, but he is young and hormonal even if he usually has better judgment. But I do think he was doing it for the right reasons. Can't wait to see where we go next, and how Mike and his kids interact with the rest of the family...
